The view of the mountains from the windows of this place is pretty nice. I got grounded here during a layover from a flight to and from the US to JAPAN The local people seemed pretty friendly from what I remember. The only thing was there was a guy that had arrived late and wanted to get on an airplane. He was drunk, or hungover and he started arguing with the airline employees. He caused such a havoc, that he eventually had to be carted off by security and the police. It was kind of crazy, but everyone seemed like they were following proper protocol when it happened. The airline employees there were polite to him and everything, but he kind of just snapped, and started berating people, and began to get violent.

A women from Australia helped me today at the Delta counter and I am hoping someone can give me her name to thank her. She was at a Delta counter after you get through TSA. I had the best experience traveling today thanks to her. I was in Utah for a military course and we got out early and she was able to get me an earlier flight home and I couldn't have been more grateful. I just really wanted her to know what an angel I thought she was I'm so upset with myself for not getting her name

The new airport is a total botch. I’m embarrassed we spent the amount of money we did and managed to make traveling in and out of SLC so much worse. The automated TSA check points are overly sensitive and twice as slow as before. And nothing like walking over a mile to get to a gate when you are in a hurry since the TSA lines are so slow and backed up. I have been to a lot of airports and it is the worst airport I have flown in and out of in the US.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Two minutes late, as my flight was late, and they already had left….. no reminder call/text, no communications at all, just left…. VERY POOR customer service! Talked to one guy that was very friendly. Called back and a lady answered and she was very rude, and snappy and even hung up on me. What a customer service representative!!!! Worst customer service I have seen in a while.

Wow. The. Longest. Walk. Ever. The signs aren’t clear on where to go. Their security check was the biggest area I’ve been in in an airport, and it seemed like the process went fairly fast. They did have some benches that looked big enough to sleep on if you had a really long layover.

The driver left my 85-year old father-in law at the Salt Lake airport with a promise to return and pick him up (he said that he had to make a run into Salt Lake) and he never came back. We picked him up three hours later. Stay away from this company. They are a hot mess.

The place is ridiculous, it takes forever to get out of there, then wait a half hour for a bus to economy parking. It takes forever to get anywhere. I know I will be traveling in and out of there a lot but it doesn't mean I have to like it

I travel to a LOT of large airports. SLC has it figured out. Spacious terminals, fast TSA, and all seats in the terminal have charging ports. Plan an extra 15 min to you travel of you have a B gate because it is a HIKE to get there.

Bathrooms are always clean. Uintah Brewery food is always good. The only part that is a bit much is the journey through the airport, but to be honest, the exercise is good if you arrive early and can take your time.

This was the calmest, cleanest nicest smelling airport I have ever had the privilege to visit. What a contrast to others, not that they are bad but this one was so much cleaner. Amazing!

The A concourse looks like new. Well designed and maintained. Beautiful views of the mountains. Great road network providing easy access to the airport.
