I wish I could give them less than a star because I was so appalled by the service today. The man behind the counter decided that it was okay to speak with his co worker in Urdu while serving me. This itself is unacceptable. Your conversation can wait until you aren't so busy (there was a line up) or can be done in english so your customers are not uncomfortable. I asked him for 3 tokens. I think his co worker asked if he knew me or something because while he was getting the tokens he said "this one is crazy" in urdu. I didn't react because I didn't want him to know that this language is my first. I do hope to never see him working at Sam's again. Highly unprofessional. If i wasn't raised a certain why I would've made a scene right there. Don't get me wrong the service was fast and I laughed it off as soon as I left because thats what you do when ignorance comes your way. Its unfortunate to see such a terrible person working at a busy location in Kensington market. Someone else deserves that job, someone who isn't so quick to judge.

I parked in front of the store to quickly drop by to pet valu as there was the parking spots in front of pet valu was all taken. I came back in 10mins and found that the store guy called the parking services to ticket me, saying that he checked all stores in the plaza and I was not there..my cat is still in the car, why would I park here carrying my cat then?? I would avoid parking in front of them and also avoid this store from now on

The store Employee's have it rough in this neighborhood alway's chasing away people who believe everything is free in life. It isn't. I, also understand the homeless population don't get enough money to live on per month. The emergency funds that Social Service's gives to the homeless aren't enough to deter them from stealing. I, commend the store owner, employee's at this location.

Well stocked w/ ample groceries(18% coffee cream is hard to find in this 'hood) and even electronics accessories(charger/converter stuff Shoppers/Rexall never stock), medications(pain/indigestion/cold&flu/allergies) fireplace supplies and car maintenance fluids just to name a few. If you need something when everyone else is closed or you are in a hurry this is the place to stop.

Neverr ever buy milk from them. They are selling spoiled milk. I buy milk 2 times from them because this place is close to my workplace, both the times i received spoiled milk. I had to throw the milk bags.Totally wastage of money. Worst store. And the owner only knows how to overcharge the people i spend $8 for the spoiled milk. Worst customer service too.

Phenomenal 24hr convenience store, and one of the few independently owned places still in existence downtown. Right in Kensington, it makes for an easy walk from just about anywhere in a few block radius. The team member working the counter was great to talk to, and provided relevant suggestions for our purchase. I would return here.

Great neighborhood store been at that corner for decades and owned by the same family. They loss a star due to they dont rotate there products and sometimes you dont realize but you just bought somthing overdue. Now they always will return your money or take it off the shelf once noticed. Other then that great place. 4.5 stars

The regular guy that works there is really rude and not helpful at all. I don't usually get there unless i really need to. Edit: Turns out they have changed their staff and been having a good experience ever since as I live very close by and have to make a stop here almost every day for daily needs.

I popped in quickly to grab a snack and when I went to pay, the young cashier yawned right in my face and didn't cover his mouth or apologize. Just plain rude! If you have no manners, don't work in the service industry. If you want to work and do business in Canada, learn basic Canadian values.

The store is clean and the workers are hardworking individuals. I live near this place and always go here to buy my basic household necessities. Compared to a lot of other overly priced stores in Toronto this is an excellent place for cheap and excellent quality products. Hope this helps! :)

Open 24 hrs. Great staff, snacks and a good selection of goodies. Patty King patties, a Western Union outlet, Romeo e Julieta turbo cigars, Tom and Jerry and Haagen-Dazs ice cream. It's not overly pricey for being a 24 hour convenience store. My go to stop at 3AM.

I love this place, everything you need, they have it. Well supplied, always open and people who work there, well trained to help you in anything you need. The customer service representatives are super nice and friendly, especially Russell.

Went to Sam’s at 1am for a drink and the store clerk was rude and gave us a hard time about a$5 bill and then came around the corner of the cash and started watching us like we’re going to steal something, I did not like that at all!!

Amazing local convenience store for Kensington Market. Prices are reasonable but staff are simply amazing. Great folks, always helpful and kind. I shop there most days when I’m working to grab a soda or lotto. Can’t beat it.

These guys are great. I specifically go their for washroom. But they are very reasonable, nice people. Although I hate it when people bring their dogs inside. Parking is sometimes impossible. But mostly it's okay. Thanks.

a staple 24hr convenience store at the top of Kensington market, they have everything from grab-n-go food to household /car supplies. the bonus of a parking lot makes it easily my go to favourite.

No fixed price for printing. Was told per copy is 20 cents then charged with 1 dollar because there is a minimum charge for “using computer”. No sign anywhere regarding the printing price.

This place is great! The prices are great and it's clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a wide selection of products. You can find basically anything you need here.

Open 24/7 with a great selection in a prime location. Unfortunately this also attracts bums and panhandlers during the later hours. Overall really good.
