The food looked very promising, yet was kind of a letdown. I was a little more disappointed with the fact that it wasn’t very busy when I went (which should have been a sign for me…I’m a slow learner sometime.). The food lacked in flavor for the most part. I asked for my coffee in a togo cup, but it came in a regular mug. I also asked for corn tortillas, yet I received flour. So the waitress was a little inattentive or maybe had A.D.D (which would be my issue if I worked here.) I’d also like to mention the fact that the gentleman at the table next to me also didn’t receive the pancake he ordered when he received his plate. The food was tasteless, and I always love me some nopales…I left my nopales on the plate, because they just lacked in flavor. When I left, I did find some delicious candies and desserts…and more importantly chimoy with tajin candy apples. If I ever go back to this place, it would just be for the candy apples. Oh yes, the bacon was good, but the beans were runny. ‍♀️

I had a bad experience. I rate this a one. One day I went in for lunch and ordered the Caldo, well as many as you know, the caldo comes with a side of rice. Well I took a scoop of the rice to put in my caldo when I smelled a horrible odor. I smelled the rice and behold the rice was spoiled. I had my lunch friends taste and smell it as well and they too acknowledge that the rice was no good. Needless to say, I did not finish my lunch. I then brought it to attention of the waitress and the manager and asked if they could take the caldo off my ticket, and the manager said NO, she stated that the rice was considered separate from the caldo that it is not part of the meal. I was so upset and since then I have not returned, and granted that I had been a loyal customer, I would order breakfast tacos and went there for lunch 4 days out of the week. People please be careful and always check and smell your food.

Just walked out with my to go order: Told the Server TWICE CORN TORTILLAS....opened my to go order in the car...thanks for the flour tortillas and the cold day old rice. GROSS....rice is too cheap not to make fresh every day....Why did I leave a tip for a to go order....SO THAT THE SERVER PREPARING THE ORDER DOESNT JACK IT UP....Thanks for nothing never going back. My office building is just down the street. Just spreading the news so nobody else has to experience the mediocre service to go with the mediocre food.

Excellent breakfast tacos you can get 3 tacos of the same kind every morning except for the weekends for $3.24 and these are really delicious and healthy tacos that will fill you up and get you through your morning and get you to lunch the ladies are very kind the servers. They have a great-looking lunch menu I haven't had the opportunity but I look forward to it when I do they have polentas Witcher a Mexican popsicle they have Mexican sweets Mexican Coca-Cola's and other Mexican drinks in the bottles which you're always super delicious I like going there for my breakfast tacos and they have an awesome lemonade too.

The breakfast tacos are a great choice here! They have a 3 taco special and the tacos are a good size with homemade flour tortillas. The salsa was also very good. They open at 6am so it is convenient to stop on your way to work. Nothing fancy about the restaurant as far as the way it looks but it was very clean and the staff is friendly and bilingual. Plenty of parking and easy access.

Place is tucked away in a corner of a shopping area. Walked in for the first time and I noticed the place was clean and well lit. We were told we could sit wherever we wanted to. Waitress was courteous and helpful with the selections on the menu. I ordered migas and the plate came in hot and smelled delicious. The taste was wonderful and the beans and diced potatoes were equally super. Overall the service was excellent and the food was authentic and delicious. Highly recommended.

Simple, straight ahead, good Mexican cuisine ( is there such a thing, I'll worry about that later). Hard to find, a little. Food is good, Yes. Good service, Yes. Clean, facility, Yes. We had chorizo con huevos plate, huevos rancheros plate AND our son the pancakes, bacon, eggs. ALL GOOD. Beans not from cans, potatoes cooked through, bacon not from the "bulk box". Good places have a lot of take out action, this one is no exception. I always check with the Google community on ratings, legit!

I thought I would try something new, just a quick taco and a tea. I walked in and sat down. In less than a minute a waitress tossed 2 menus on the table and walked away. After waiting 5 minuets another waitress walked up to the table and took our drink order. After 10 minutes of waiting for our drinks and no order taken, I just walked out. No they were not busy, guessing about 8 customers in a restaurant that holds probably 80+. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will NEVER go back.

Before we go back home my bro in law took us to SANTE CAFE MEXICAN RESTAURANT. The portions are extremely satisfying and I had some to take back home. Now I can barely move babe call the towing truck. They have the most friendly staff I have experienced so far. The place is clean and they are practicing social distancing and mask wearing is required. I would definitely come back! Wish their menu had more of a selection though!

Instead of paying in excess of $15 for a lousy breakfast buffet at the airport hotel I was staying at, I kind of flipped a coin and decided to try out Santos Cafe after reviewing the neighborhood options. There was at least eight if not a dozen different breakfast tacos to choose from, plus plenty of other options with pictures on the menu. Flour tortillas tasted really fresh and all the tacos were under $2 each.

I eat breakfast here every week. The food is awesome !! I love the ladies who work there !! When I call in my order they know it's me and always greet me as soon as I walk in. I ate lunch here for the first time and had the Plato Texano. Enchiladas, guisada, rice beans and guacamole. It was soooooo good!!! It really warmed me up on a cold wet day!!! Definitely a customer for life!!!!!

Small yet delicious food for the appetite of a multitude of choices. Enjoy y'all

Tables are always dirty, I haven’t seen one single employee cleaning with covid measures, I gave it three chances, food it’s ok, but last time my plate was dirty from another customer. Waitress was kind but just looking for a tip. Salsa verde bottle was nasty never wiped down. Coffee was no flavor at all. Just water. Waitresses kept whispering while looking at me. Very uncomfortable

Love this place! Every time we come we are greeted with a smile. The service is great and the food is delicious. Corn tortillas are hand made and awesome. My favorite dish is the nopales. They serve a great plate of nopales with steak, but they also will cook them up with eggs a la mexicana if you ask. Very sweet ladies run this place. We feel like family.

I go here every morning. Best spot around. Never had a bad meal from here.

While the staff was friendly, the food was subpar. Hair in my non-seasoned menudo..staff really didn’t seem upset or apologetic that it was found. My child asked for a child’s quesadilla meal….it was filled with onions…who puts onions in a kids quesadilla? They charge for drink refills too. Ridiculous! Don’t waste your time on this restaurant!!

I didn't get chips & salsa despite seeing other tables with it and the dining room was limited with clean tables (many were uncleared from previous customers). I'll try it 1 more time (conveniently located to me).

Good local tex mex that caters to a large and loyal lunch following. The fajitas are solid and the table salsa is very spicy. Stick to the plates instead of tacos, but you really can't go wrong with either. The parillada is probably the best bet because you get a sampler of what feels like everything offered

Horrible place to go eat. Waitresses have never come to offer refills....NEVER. I've been several here times for lunch, and only because of the proximity to my job. Last straw was when cashier short changed me $7, "Cause we don't have money in the register. Count your change people.

Y'all..... I just got some breakfast tacos and they are the bomb-diggity!!! You can get 3 tacos for $3.50 if they are all the same kind of breakfast taco. The tortillas are "homemade" and are deeeeelicios!!! But.... don't take my word for it - go and check them out!!

During the freezing weather and power outages in Feb 2021 this fantastic family restaurant was open and operational. Everything else was closed. This was some of the best Mexican food in the area. Service was outstanding. Highly recommended. Family friendly.

It was hot in there. They took too long just to bring the beverage to the table and after that the food took so long as well. Waitress did not approach table not once to ask if coffee refill was needed. Food was good but can't say I'd want to go back.

The Tacos Nortenos (with beef fajita) are out of this world. The rest of the menu looks great, but honestly I just keep coming back for the Tacos Nortenos. They're just so dang good. Try them with the green hot sauce!

We found this little gem on the way out of town using a phone app. Friendly little place, great food, inexpensive. Watch out for the table salsa they bring with the chips, it's fairly hot, just how I like it.

Their breakfast tacos have slowly diminished in flavor. The cost of 3 tacos for 2 options is great but if you try to add even one more it makes a $4 order sky rocket to almost double that.

February 28 2016 Monday I loved there plate of nopalitos & milanesa with refried beans rice & salad choice of corn or flour tortillas. Waitresses are very friendly especially Erica :)

I haven't been here in a while because I don't work near here anymore but it's good to know that it's the same quality service, the portions are heaping, and the food is fantastic.

Ordered a breakfast machacado taco , it was Delicious . Husband ordered the bisteq ranchero plate and was Also very good . Very clean place and welcoming . Definitely Recommend

During busibess hours, 'open' sign on, and front door notlocked...but when I go inside they tell me it's closed. If you are closed early, lock up and rurn off your open sign.

The staff is great, the food is quick, classic, and always excellently cooked.
