"This place is absolutely AMAZING! We have never seen more fresh produce than we did here! And everything you could imagine for every ethnicity! We WILL be back and the people working here were so friendly and helpful! Also, the meat we bought looked like the freshest meat we've ever seen and bought! They also have extremely fresh seafood! But the produce looked like something you see in a commercial! It was so fresh and beautiful! I mean it almost didn't look real because it was so beautiful! We could go on and on! Please go check this place out, you will NOT be disappointed!"

I love this grocery because you can find so many items from a variety of cultures to eat ready made, to cook and eat and to season your food. They have a wonderful amazing diverse yummy candy selection. You can find so many juices, sodas and snacks from Asian, South American, Mediterranean, Mexican and more. They have a kosher selection of meats and frozen items kind of hidden on the right side in the back. You can find so many different vegetables and fruits, things I have never seen before. The Culantro for your sofrito! (That's what you use not cilantro) Huge selection of seafood and fish. You can buy tounge, heart, kidney, ears, uterus and more. Fresh and frozen duck. Variety of beef items. Goat meat and lamb. Fresh quail eggs, I mean I could go on for days at what you can purchase here. They have mini restaurants inside and a bakery beside cashier. They sell some wine and beer. They also have a jewelry section in the store. So the only reason I give 4 stars is because all that produce is not always the freshest or the best quality and IDK about the seafood either. Today they had live blue crabs for sell, but only 1 was moving and they didn't seem to be in a container that was refrigerated and it was a pretty open container. So the quality of some items is my only issue and what keeps me from giving 5 stars.

A large variety of grocery items (and produce!) from different regions. Loved it! And they had at least two (maybe more) food joints within the market to get food at. Tried the chinese place and it actually felt more authentic/ homecooked than your regular american chinese buffet. Would recommend a try but know that it will be slightly different (depending on what you get) but good. One less star because the place (especially entrance and check out area) could be a bit cleaner/more organised and it was taking really long to checkout because all their card machines(not just the one at my counter) seemed to be faulty.

There is a huge selection of international foods and products available at Saraga that you won't find anyplace else in Indy! So many countries and cultures represented in this one-of-a-kind shopping experience. There are also a variety of merchants, restaurants, and services inside including Mexican and Chinese restaurants, fine jewelry and accessories, and personal and small business convenience services: tax preparation, insurance, international money transfer, notary public, and other personal & small business support services.

  • Laura

I go here almost every week. I love it! It is the best international grocery store in all of Indianapolis. The shelves are meticulously stocked, there are workers in every butcher area without fail, such a huge selection of food from every region. I always find something new there every time I go. I love the food court area complete with Korean staples and Korean Corn Dogs. The produce is amazing, so much better than Walmart or Kroger!

  • Michelle Sweeny

So much produce I want to try and amazing seafood, spices, imported foods from so many countries! I got melon from Mexico, Turkish cheese, dumplings from Korea, and I can't wait to go back and try more things! Honestly in addition to the amazing food selection, I enjoyed being surrounded by employees and shoppers from several different continents! (During covid-19, this is the closest I can get to international travel and I love it!)

Every piece of fruit was old, moldy, and should not be sold. We bought one piece of fruit that was $19.99 a pound and instead of weighing it the cashier typed in .98 pounds and the fruit was the size of a small plum. It was nasty in the store and not worth the few items you can't find elsewhere. Will never shop there again. Very run down and not somewhere that should be selling food with the filthy condition of the store.

  • Jake Chen

It is truly an international grocery store in which you walk into the hustles and bustles of street foods in food stands and crowded farmer's market like ethnic groceries on shelves of a lively grocery store. Walk with African and Middle Easterners. It's unreal experience that made you wonder whether you are traveling aboard for the price of a freshly made beef noodle soup! Yummy exotic experience well worth the visit.

Normal shopping is very bad. We bought a durian fruit here and found a super big bug. I took it back and the attitude of the denied service staff was very bad. I bought it on April 4th, April 6th. I won't let my legs. I'm sorry, there's something wrong with your food, okay? This used to be my favorite supermarket. Now I am seriously worried about their food safety. Be careful to see when you buy it! ! !

I love Saragas, it's a huge place and you can get just about anything you need if you like making food from different cultures. I especially love their large variety of hot sauces and chiles. They utilize every inch of space, so it can get a little cramped. And some places are only wide enough for a single buggy to pass through, but that's a minor inconvenience considering everything they have.

  • Gerald Arnold

What a great place to shop! Everybody should shop here. They have everything you could think of for an interesting meal. I was overwhelmed by all the different stuff they have to offer. The people working there were so nice and helpful. Don't let what the place looks like on the outside fool you. Check it out. Bet they have fruits and veggies you've never seen. Awesome place.

  • Chris Murnane

International grocery store with a seafood counter larger than most with 4 fish mongers there to cut your fish on the spot. The stores aisles are divided into countries and they have well over 20 countries represented. Fresh produce and veggies you can't find elsewhere and beers, wines, and spirits as well! Must check out for the adventurous eater!

  • Ed Rivera

Looks better, cleaner, and the shelves are stocked with everything. Highly recommend if you're looking for items not normally sold in markets in the US. They added some restaurants and the fresh fish market is the best. The butcher has a small selection of meats, but they are hard to find meats such as goat, and lamb neck. Great prices and quality.

  • Kyle Flamm

I've never seen so many different kinds of food in one place, my wife loves Kefir and I've never seen so many varieties in one store! I have one son learning Chinese and another learning Spanish, I've taken them both to the store to get a feel for the kind of products available from places that speak those languages. Great store!

  • S. Stephens

I love this store for the vast variety they have but what is very very frustrating is that a lot of things are not price tagged on the shelf. Additionally I asked two different people (employes) where several different products were, they didn't know, nor go ask someone, where the product was or even if they carried it.

  • Sylva Zhang

The selection has always been fantastic, but there have been major improvements to the flow and the feel since the fire. Some fun items to watch for: honey in the comb (in the frame it was made in by the bees!), premade dumpling wrappers to DIY potstickers, quail eggs, ube (purple sweet potato), and date syrup. Yum!

  • RandomTravelingPerson

Full of culture inside! I went to buy noodles at Asian Snack for lunch during the weekend and it was delicious. I always come here to buy bread and cakes to save for breakfast the next morning. My concern is that there are many flies inside and inside is not properly cleaned. Overall, it is a great place to shop at!

  • Suz P

A nice store to get lots of hard to find international ingredients like sugar cane. Red beans, and snack foods. It looks especially good after the remodel late last year and early this year. Love going there to get various cuts of meat to make authentic Korean dishes, komchi and bon chon.

  • Turt

Over half of the stuff they sell here you will not find anywhere else. Not a Mexican store not a Chin/Burmese store not an Arabic store. Any kind of specialized market you can think of Saraga has more selection than them. Everything sells for a good price too you are not overpaying!

  • Carol Glazar

Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables- some I did not know. Fresh/frozen fish of all kinds. A halal section also. Some nice pots/pans. Bought some different types of mushrooms to try. Found Jumax apricot juice which I have trouble getting. Will be back- check this grocery store out!

  • Benjapol Piyawanichpong

I want to rate4 4 5 star Impress with selection they have. Tight wslk spacing and overall cleanliness can be improved. Also i think they should improve sorting products on the shelf, i found it was not so organized and not easy to find although they have plenty of stuffs i need.

  • Bill Decker

When they say international they mean international. We've been to two different Saraga locations and they both were impressive. Amazing selections and varieties of merchandise. They always seem to be busy but once you move past the fresh produce section it's not so crowded.

  • Dawn Gooding

If you are American this is a wonderful place to explore the foods of the world. They have a fresh fish market. They have amazing produce selection, none is organic, but lots of fruits and veggies unfamiliar to many and seldom available at the other local markets.

  • M Gbertsis

This was a great experience of a multi-culture environment! Not the cleanest place but you can find Asian, Middle Eastern, Hispanic, African foods all in one spot! The diversity of fruits, vegetables and meats was incredible. It is not Marsh or Kroger’s!

  • Hamada Eleleimy

Wow, they have everything. Now it has been decided. We are moving to America. I mean joking aside if we moved here we’d find anything we miss in Saraga. Everything at all. I also love the diversity of the shoppers. So many colours and so many languages.

  • Steven Cook

Going to Saraga is like taking a trip abroad, without leaving the United States! With enough curiosity, a person could easily spend a couple of hours browsing. When I step inside, I can travel the world and still get home in less than 30 minutes!

  • John Wan

Loved it, had huge selection of exotic food from all across the globe. They have weird fruits, frozen stuff, fish, meat, snacks, you name it. I plan to come here often. Also has a decently authentic Chinese restaurant inside called Asian snack.

  • Junil

This is an international grocery store. There is two Korean grocery in Indy and this store is the biggest. I just bought Korean grocery in this store and quality was normally fine but I frequently saw spoiled fruit and meat at other section.

  • Darcy Ward

It was different. But the 7 different things we got at the bakery tasted like it had been there for a month. The people there just stared at us. They had 4 security guards at the doors. We liked looking at all the different cultural foods.

  • Olufikayo Olowoyo

Abit disappointed at my first visit, no immediate floor staff to attend to your issues. Floor of Fish section was quite wet ,without and caution notice. However, they had quite a handful of native and non-native food items to choose from.

  • Phyllis Washington

My family has enjoyed shark meat, octopus, and rabbit and all kinds of authentic Spanish pre made meals from this market. As long as you're open minded you'll love the fresh seafood and different types of meat prepackaged, check it out.

  • 黄陈倞

I bought a bag of buns three days ago. This is what I got from Saraga. I used to trust this supermarket. Not anymore. Those buns are produced by chi MRI foods co. I cannot locate the exp date even though they said "show on the package".

  • Grant Helms

Saraga is great! It’s no surprise that someone in the Midwest might run into the occasional difficulty of sourcing a rare or specialty international ingredient from local stores. Saraga, however, probably has it. This huge supermarket

  • Bonnie Cameron

I love eating and shopping here. The Japanese bakery is the highlight for me. The halal meat section is a plus. Food aisles are well stocked, and the variety is amazing. Be prepared to spend about 40 minutes to an hour there.

  • Zachary McHone

The grocery has a Polish/European section which we have been able to find some of our groceries in. They have a large variety of fruits, vegetables and fish. The Asia Snack restaurant at the front is one of our favorites.

  • Martin Koepke

This a must see if traveling to or through Indianapolis. It is a treasure of ethnic delight. Be prepared to be amazed at what your local grocery store is not providing you in their produce, sea food and meat departments.

  • Devon Ngo

There’s a good selection of items that are hard to find elsewhere but if you’re paying by card, their card processing system goes down frequently during busy hours and can cause delays of half an hour or more at checkout

  • Travis Moulton

This grocery store is tops in Indianapolis if you're looking for variety, although they are a bit lacking in dairy options. I could get lost in here for 5 hours and still not see every little thing. Great place to go!

  • J

Such a fun place! Strolling down the isles and there are SO much to look at. Very friendly staff. I really enjoyed Tous les Jours! Those pastries are delicious! Highly recommend coming and trying out new foods! …

  • Shanda Borkes

Sooo, this store is new to me. I love it and will be coming back. What I bought was good and fresh. I love their meat section. I went for herbs and bulk flour - they had a good variety of both. Highly recommended.

  • Jason Potter

Great selection of international food. We just moved back to the US after living in South Korea for 20+ years. Went to Saraga and was so excited to find everything we need to make our favorite Korean dishes.

  • Sarah L.

I love coming here to try new foods. Their produce section is a sight to see and very refreshing. They have several restaurants inside along the front wall on the left. Their kefir variety is incredible!!

  • Kavita Tawadarre

We were lucky we visited during their inauguration. Such a big store and amazing variety. Different country products you can find here. Excellent store. We always visit them on weekends. Great deals.

  • Donald Luckett

My cousin plugged me about the store. Some of the best advice I was giving. Those lamb chops and the oxtails were on point. It's safe to say I will be doing a lot of shopping at that grocery store

  • My Experience

Great place and Ive been coming for year and they have been great till lately..... they sold me catfish that OBVIOUSLY wasn't catfish from the taste. Catfish is not cheap no wonder it was on sale.

  • Virginia Ernst

Picked up an order from a small restaurant located inside, food was amazing. Also, the fresh produce that I passed on the way to pick up my order was WAY cheaper than ANY grocery store I've seen

  • Ru AO

Our go to place for ingredients to make our West Indian dishes. Their food is fresh and the people at the fish counter are so friendly. I always give them a tip. This place is worth the drive.

  • Stephen Drake

This store has everything you need if you are Asian or Latin. There are some American and European things but not mich. Their meat and fish section is incomparable to boring American stores.

  • Phillip Drogich

This store has plenty of fresh fish and seafood of all types. The isles are marked by country or region with Korean, Chinese, Japanese and more. It's like a place from Asia right at home.

  • Sherry Foster

Omg one of these must move to Kansas!! I got all the taste of home here. I bought so many items I had to purchase a new suitecase to get back home. Open a branch in Kansas City PLEASE!!

The best grocery I've found anywhere! Amazing produce and selection of ingredients for any dish. Great woks and delicious restaurants as well. Indianapolis is so lucky to have Saraga.

  • Rishikesh Bagwe

Good place for getting food items of a specific country. But I would rather visit a dedicated Grocery shop for a country to get all the variety which may not be there at Saraga

  • Brooke Stefancik

Great international market with wide selection. The store was clean and much of the produce looked fresher than what other chain grocery stores have. Can't wait to come back!

Crowded on Saturdays. They had the rooster Sriracha, but it was expensive. I will change my review to 5 stars if they stock 2 liter bottles of Ito-En Oi Oicha.

  • Harold Learned

They have a shop right inside the door that will put screen protectors on but if you have a broken screen and want it fixed you better have a Samsung or iPhone

  • Carmen Tinner
