Being an only child and my Mother being in a car wreck things happened very fast, I was totally unprepared for planning a Funeral. I was asking for help from the people who had gone through this before and they recommended Naugle Funeral Home. I went over to the Margaret St.Location and Roger Delaney answered my knock. I told him my situation and he ushered me inside and offer me a seat. We talked and I told him my situation. He was very comforting and he offered some suggestions. Which I had not thought of myself and helped me make the best possible selection of what I would need to give my Mother the type of Funeral I would want her to have. From Music, Photos, Flowers, and everything to do with the Embalmment to Cremation and the costs. I was able to understand what exactly I wanted for Mom. You would think he do all he could. But no, he went on the direct me to where I could find help with choosing a cemetery and a type of burial. He was very helpful and he saved me from doing things that I would have messed up on because I just didn't know about. I can't thank Naugle Funeral Home enough for the way we were treated and the respect we were shown. We even had the Memorial at the Hendrix Ave. location and it was a beautiful service and surprisingly Roger Delaney was an ordained Minister and he kindly offered to do my Mom's Eulogy. Everyone was very happy with the service, my whole family felt like Roger knew Mom personally. He even stayed around and mingled with us after the service. There's only five stars up there, but I'd put ten if I could.

I cannot more highly recommend Naugle Funeral Home for anyone's family or close friends in a time of great pain. It does seem very strange to be writing a review for a funeral home, but the level of professionalism and dignity they provide is one that is unmatched in any field. Roger at Naugle is amazingly compassionate, caring, professional and extremely helpful during a very painful time. After a close family member passed away, we heard about Naugle Funeral Home from a friend and are very blessed that we did. Roger has worked in his field for several years (if not decades) and understands that everyone grieves differently and in their own time. With that, he is very patient and extremely knowledgeable, so he can help you with any questions or concerns you have along the way. You do not feel like you are just a customer, because Roger cares so much, it’s almost like you are talking with an old friend. They show your loved one such great dignity every step. They even went out of their way to respect our religious wishes and had a priest bless our loved one. Naugle Funeral Home went above and beyond our expectations of a funeral home and provided a form of comfort during an extremely trying time.

Roger is an angel! My grandmother passed last week. We needed to get her home to New Jersey and had no idea where to start. I randomly called Naugle Funeral Home. Roger was upfront and honest, if we used them to fly her back to NJ they would charge us a lot more. He suggested to call a funeral home in NJ to have them set up transportation, this would save our family a lot of money. I wrote down his number just in case and I'm glad I did. The funeral home in NJ scheduled Seashore Removal Service to pick up my grandma, my family was NOT comfortable with this company they wanted to drive my grandma 3 hours to Tampa in a beat up mini van, with two men that didn't even have business cards. I immediately called Roger to see if he could help, he with no hesitation said yes. The NJ funeral home contacted Roger and my grandmother was picked up within the hour, by two professionally dressed men in a proper transport truck. Two days later my grandma arrived home to NJ which was her last wish. We can't thank Roger enough for being so honest and helping us so quickly. Thank you!

Losing a loved one is difficult enough, and the part I feared the most was going to make the arrangements. The moment I walked in I felt completely at ease. Roger was very compassionate, I felt as if he was taking care of his own family member. Thank you Roger for your kindness. Alaina was also amazing, tender hearted and caring. Thank you Alaina. The home was clean, the first thing I was told after I was greeted was they practiced social distancing, and they explained it was at my discretion to the extent I was comfortable. The third and most important person I want to talk about is Jeff! I don’t want to say Jeff is a dog because he was so incredibly comforting to me, and my autistic daughter. He was very gentle with her. I would have given more than five stars if given the opportunity. I will refer family and friends Schnauss Northeast Florida Funeral Home.

I can not say enough good things about Naugle & Schnauss. They did an excellent job from start to finish. Roger was super compassionate and preformed our service and eulogy beautifully. He is truly one of a kind. And not to mention his little dog Marley, it was so comforting to have him in my lap as we planned my dads memorial, he just made me feel a sense of peace and calm. Alaina went above and beyond to help us and was always there for myself and family with any questions and even helped to set the chapel up and offered great ideas. We had to arrange services for my nephew and Roger Delaney and his staff went above and beyond to make sure all our baby was given a dignified service. It was orderly and dignified. When we got there we were pleased to see how above and beyond they went by providing upgrades we were not expecting and Roger said he just wanted to ensure everything was right and it was. The staff very accommodating and for the first time experience the process was smooth and it was no pressure, we didn’t feel overwhelmed or oversold in anything. I will definitely look to Roger and his group for our future needs.

Recently, I had a good friend pass away in Jacksonville. I drove 11 hour to listen to someone who did not even take the time to read the obituary before presenting that day. It was obvious, because he mispronounced most all of the names. Even worse, he admitted not reading it beforehand. He also was very unprofessional when he deliberately brought attention to the deceased son, by saying things about his beliefs. At the end of the memorial, he did not speak to anyone and show any kind of empathy for the friends and family. I would not recommend this funeral home to anyone,

The passing of my grandmother was sudden and a difficult time for our whole family. Naugle Schnauss Funeral Home and Cremation Services made the difficult task of handling her arrangements so much easier. They are very respectful, comforting and prompt. Staff was extremely helpful, kind and compassionate during this difficult time for me and my family. They separated the remains for me into smaller urns I had purchased for the family. They handled notifying SSI. I got his remains and 10 copies of his death certificate in 2 weeks. I was able to pick up the remains the day before his service. I would recommend Schnauss to anyone looking for quick professional service. The prices are unbeatable too.

The team at Naugle could not have been more helpful and polite in assisting with my uncle’s passing. Living out of town in Charlotte, NC we were afraid the process of putting him to rest would be hard to navigate. That could not have been further from the truth. Naugle from the initial call provided exceptional service to me for arranging my Mother's cremation. Always answered at late hours and weekends with responses that helped me finalize everything I needed to. Also hand delivered a sealed death certificate 3 months after the services were provided to my office- great customer service all the way through.

Recently attended a memorial service for the mother of a close friend, and it was handled terribly save for the words spoken by family. The whole thing felt rushed from beginning to end, as if it was an inconvenience at best on the end of the funeral home, among other complaints, but I think the statement is clear. Do not recommend.

Renaldo was very gentle with my daddy when he was arranging the Services for my mom who he was married to for 51 years. Kind and very professional, with a personal touch. Roger did all he could to mitigate the pain involved in having to make final decisions for our son. He also provides a variety of payment options and goes above and beyond in his job which he explained to my husband isn’t really a job at all but is his calling.
