So I went to Scott's Auto Repair I think 3 times. The first time was just for an oil change and that went well, clean facilities nice employees, in and out for my oil change with no issue. I went back to Scott's the second time because my AC had stopped cooling. Assuming I just need some coolant, I went to Scott's again. They found a leak causing my AC coolant issue, got that repaired, and coolant added. However, while I was waiting for them to repair the AC, they told me that there was an issue with my hood not staying up. So the bearings or something on my hood needed to be replaced. I had that repaired while I was there as well. Also, thinking back, while I was waiting, there was another patron there saying he was there for the 3rd time for the same issue. He was asking me about my expirences with Scott's. So there's a couple things about this that I've thought about in hindsight. First, I don't see how if my hood didn't stay up, they wouldn't have mentioned at my previous visit. Second was the other patron. But, ok, my hood issue could've happened after my last visit and that other patron's issue could be a big issue. I moved on. Then my AC stopped cooling again, it was under warranty so I went back to Scott's. They found a new issue so I'm out more money. And at this visit they told me about another issue, which was a small crack in my oil pan causing a tiny leak. I took my car elsewhere for a second opinion and there was no oil leak. Then on top of this, my friend happened to stop at Scott's to get an inspection and they lifted her car to do the inspection. Why? You don't need to lift a car to do an inspection. Then guess what, they told her she had a leak in her transmission. She did not get that repaired because she was only getting an inspection. However she took her car elsewhere and they told her that she did not have a leak in her transmission. I honestly can't trust this business anymore. They seem knowledgeable and nice, but after everything that's happened I question their honesty. I would use this business cautiously and maybe get second opinions before having them repair anything.

My inspection was due and since I received a coupon ($7 off) in the mail I figured I would give this place a try. Initially I went in for the inspection and oil change. They had no openings and a long wait that day, I made an appointment for another time. Before leaving I asked how much the oil change would be and I was told around $94. Not sure what what included (filter, oil, labor??) but as I walked away I was a bit floored by that price. So, before my appointment I went ahead a did the oil change elsewhere for half that cost. Day of appointment I arrive for just the inspection. Not a problem. Staff here is obviously paid to be overly nice and helpful. They open doors, make sure to put paper mats down on your floors, pull your car around, clean and comfortable waiting area all done with a smile. Very nice. Where they get you is at the wallet. They did a quick walk around before hooking my car up and immediately notice the bulbs for my license plate are out so I wont pass. They also let me know the cost to replace the bulbs is almost $70! I laughed, they didn't. I say OK thanks I'll handle it, and ask for my car back. I go to my nearby automotive store and for under $8 and a few turns of my screwdriver the lights are now functioning. I guess if you have loads of money then these people will treat you like gold while taking that money, you do you. Personally, it would have gone a long way with me if they would do these types of small repairs for just a small fee. Honestly I would have paid $15-$20 for the bulb replacement just because I was already there. But greediness is not a good look on anyone and they lost a customer and a lot more now simply because they tried to take advantage on the cost of something that can be bought in bulk for way less per piece than I paid at the store.

Stay away if you drive a foreign car or need electrical repair. My Volvo was towed to this shop because it would not start. Upon "inspection" I was told my car needed a new starter for $950.00 with a 2 year warranty. (A new Volvo starter has a lifetime warranty. A used one is 2 years) I declined the service and had my car towed to a Volvo dealership for a second opinion. They said the engine needed to be repaired /replaced at an approx cost of $6000. They showed me my vehicle and pointed out the causes that led to their diagnosis. I got a third opinion from a highly recommended independent auto shop. After their diagnostic, they concurred with the dealership. I went back to Scott's and talked to the service advisor to ask how they determined it was the starter. He was very arrogant and said "because it's what you asked us to check." He was unaware of their own diagnostic results (if they even performed one). This advisor was rude and condescending, changed the subject, and proceeded to tell me how I had not maintained my vehical by changing my oil every 5k miles. I informed him that my car only required an oil change every 10K miles, which is something he would know if he had knowledge of my vehicle. They were willing to take $950.00 for a unneeded repair. I feel they are not trustworthy. I called the owner to let him know of my experience, and he was not available. I left my contact information and he never called me back.

I received a superior level of service from the Scott's team, and in particular from Nick! He found out from my Car Shield that, if Scott's used a part approved by Car Shield, that the repair would cost me more than $500 less. I was in the process of moving across town, and I had to have a car to do important things, such as turning in the cable TV equipment from my previous place, and also eating out until the move was completed, since I no longer had time to cook or buy groceries, just pack my things. To solve this problem while my car was still at Scott's, waiting for the money-saving part from Subaru, Nick drove a black Ford Fiesta to my old apartment complex a week before this last Thursday and provided it to me as a loaner. Because of Nick's initiative, I was able to do these must do things, including picking up a needed Rx at the drug store. The part came in a week ago Monday, and Nick and his team had my Subaru all ready by two that afternoon. That day, I drove the Fiesta back to Scott's and got my Forester back, with the oil change and every other service I requested, and it runs great! The next day, I drove my Subaru to my new apartment complex and moved in. I'm so delighted by the human solidarity of Nick and his team with customers like me! Even though now I live much further away in Houston, I will continue being a customer of Scott's Auto Repair for the maintenance of my vehicle.

My initial engagement was poor, as I sat in my car waiting on someone to come to my window. I went for a vehicle inspection. I parked nose into the bay of the shop and waited for someone to come to my car and assist me. I started counting after 2 guys literally looked at me and kept going. After those 2, 4 more went by, made eye contact and nothing. I was very nerved by the lack of customer service. I would have been fine if they tried just a little. After being passed up by 6 people, I parked my car and went inside. They were all standing around looking at me now from behind the desk. Still nerved, I said I needed a vehicle inspection and no one came out of the garage to assist. No apology, no communication. I was already there, so I proceeded. The inspection was fast. I paid $25.50, which I think is the standard. My transaction was quick and the guy who originally helped me was pleasant. I was sure this place would be great customer service since the guy on the phone was extremely nice and it's not a big chain. I was so turned off by the initial interaction (lack of), I will probably never return. How do 6 people who work there make eye contact and never ask if I need help. That is poor customer service.

4 stars for speed of repair. 2 stars for professionalism 2 stars for pricing Car was towed to Scott’s by AAA because it was the closest on their list of providers. When they got back to me on needed repair & pricing I felt the pricing was high. I did my homework and priced the part and cost at nearby repair shops. I was correct - a very reputable shop just a couple of miles away could do the same repair for about 40% less. After declining the repair and letting them know I would have someone pick the car up to have repair done elsewhere, someone followed up and negotiated the price bringing the cost of repair down. It was still higher than the other quote, but when the cost of towing and the high priced diagnostic fee were factored in - it made sense to let Scott’s do the repair. The bright side here was that they did have the repair done quickly. If you want the job done quickly and price isn’t a concern you may be happy with Scott’s. As for me, I prefer a reasonable price up front and I really do not want to deal with having to negotiate a price after a day that was already complicated enough.

It is no accident that Scott's Auto Repair has been in business since 1986 when few businesses make it ten years. Their complete focus is on the customer. I was given a quote on the repair of my car by the mechanic in the office. Later when I came in he said he had made a mistake and it was $500 higher. But Scott who was nearby said they would honor the original quote and they begin repairing my car which I am very satisfied with. They had one process that surprised me. Workers there said it was standard was for the mechanic working on the car to take it out for a test drive after he finished. And then his supervisor would take it out for a test drive. And then the owner, Scott would take it out for a test drive. THAT is controlling the quality of the product delivered. In my construction business of 43 years as the owner I had the same level of control in always verifying the quality of the project. Like Scott I had universally satisfied customers.

Typical. You really have to watch these mechanics no matter who they are. I was told u had thin brakes and my brake fluid reservoir was EMPTY. I'd replaced my brakes less than a year ago. I'm hearing no squealing from the warning device located on the pad itself, letting you know it's low. My all reservoir was not empty as I was told. It was right at the low life meaning I just had to add a little bit of all the top it off. Still no big deal. I would love to have known what the quote would have been for them to replace the pads, rotors and whatever else was listed on the piece of paper that I needed to have replaced. All of the things that I've learned how to do since auto mechanics in high school. Everybody else sat in class while I worked on teachers brakes. My instructor saw my work and knew I knew what I was doing so brakes were the wrong choice to try to scam me on. I'll go down the street next time.

I went in during, what seemed to be a very busy time for them, and asked if they could take a look at my tire as I believed there was likely a nail or screw in it. The extremely friendly staff took care of it, immediately. They located the screw, plugged the hole, visually inspected all of my tires, topped all of them up with air and were finished in twenty minutes. Most importantly, they didn’t try to sell me any new tires. The only reason I did not give them the 5th star was that I was surprised by the $20 charge for the service. In my 25 years of driving, I have never paid a penny for the same service. In actuality, I will likely return for other services but they could have ensured that by either not charging for that simple service or by charging $10 or less. Overall though, I had a pleasant experience in a safe, socially-distant, mask-wearing environment.

I have taken two of my vehicles to Scott's Auto Repair and have had excellent experiences during all interactions. Most recently, I've been dealing with a nagging check engine light as I've readied one of my cars for sale. Eric specifically helped me diagnose the issue, was incredibly patient working through all of the options and helped guide me through what was best for my aging car. He could have easily recommended I fix about 10 different issues but was incredibly honest and transparent as he steered me clear of that path. I'll be going to Scott's exclusively in the future and plan to send all of my friends and family as well. If you're looking for honest, reliable and timely service - stop reading and head to Scott's Auto Repair. If you have a choice, ask for Eric - he's the best.

I know it's their job to UPSELL, so they should UPSELL not stress the customer out by stating "had any trouble with starting your car? Well you need a new battery, do you want me to go ahead and take care of that, it'll be around $ 200" they quoted correct price I just forgot what it was. Anyway it started out great and ended with me having to come back to get some part put back in my glove box which seeing that on floor board stressed me out even more than needing a battery, for $200. Very courteous, and helpful, for sure the staff that handle my vehicle was. The employee that put the piece back into my glove box was awesome as well. But I still got that feeling of SEE HOW MANY UNNECESSARY PARTS I CAN SELL TO HIM/ HER TODAY. Thank you.

The service provided by Scott's Auto was amazing. They were professional, diligent, and supportive while dealing with unnecessary red tape in getting final approval for the transmission repairs. I was told by Katy Nissan nothing was wrong with the car (even with the engine light showing); Scott's auto kept working until they found and diagnosed the problem with supporting documentation. Aaron and Big Mike did not disappoint the level of customer service of a top-notch auto shop should provide. I highly recommend them to family and friends. Entire experience was awesome. From calling to make my appointment, to dropping my car off, them giving me a ride to work, keeping constant contact with updates while they had my vehicle, all the way to me picking up my vehicle at the end of the day, great experience and amazing customer service. Everyone I spoke with was very nice and helpful. I loved that they sent me a link to a list of recommended services for my vehicle and allowed me to accept or decline the services being performed with zero pressure. AND I knew exactly what the cost was going to be before picking up my vehicle. Will definitely be bringing my vehicle back and any future vehicles I have will be serviced by Scott's Auto Repair.

While driving today, I noticed my temperature gauge rising. Noticed I had a coolant leak somewhere, as there was next to nothing in the reservoir. The staff at Scott's walked to my car and added some additional coolant so I could drive it to them. Being a Saturday afternoon, I didn't expect to get my car back today - but I did. They replaced the water pump and the thermostat, and provided a 3 year warranty as well. Additionally, they drove me back and forth from my house so I didn't have to sit and wait at the shop. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. To me, this is how the car repair experience should be. Couldn't be happier. Thanks to all who aided in my experience today!

I am not disappointed in the service. I had the radiator & hoses, spark plugs, battery cable and alternator changed. The work was good. My disappointment comes from the horrible beings that are human there who choose to lie, cheat and scheme within their ruthless business practices to gain money I would have gladly paid but this is the world we live in. Not to mention at all Erren and Nick who thought they where speaking to an idiot. They sent this Diagnosis to me at 5:04pm and stupidly and arrogantly did not change the time stamp of 2:22pm. Spoke to them twice in the hours before without one mention of this. Again this is the ruthless business practice of Scott's Automotive

Scott’s Auto Repair found that Cristian’s left my oil plug loose and my oil leaked out nearly completely. I had a very slow AC leak so they thoughtfully put dye into the AC and asked me to bring it back in a week or two. So today I bring my wife’s car in to get the oil change. These guys do great work and do not try to rip off women nor men. They send a message to your phone if they find anything else needed done so you can say yes or no to each item. I know what to watch out about my car. I will also soon know everything about my wife’s car. This is a warm and honest place to trust your car repairs. I highly recommend this business.

Car was towed to Scott’s by AAA, and within two hours I had a full diagnosis, cost estimate, and approximate time my car would be ready. I also received photo and video evidence of the problems they found. The next day, the team gave my car a full inspection and found a couple of other fixes and repairs they could make, should I prefer. I was sent all the info via text, which is incredibly convenient. I picked up my car about 24 hours after I dropped it off, and it looked, felt and sounded great. Very grateful for the prompt, comprehensive service Scott’s Auto Repair provided. They will be my first choice from here forward.

I've brought my F150 in twice for seperate issues in the last 6 months. I dealt with Johnny and Matt, when I described the problems I was having they knew the right questions to ask and where to look first. Each time they have quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue. They also provided me with a ride to pick up and drop off my temporary vehicle. They aren't the cheapest, but they are reasonable and you definitely get what you pay for. They are 100% transparent with costs and call you for approval before making any repairs. If quality, service, and speed are most important to you, then this is where you should go. 5 stars.

I made an appt for oil change and was told my $20 coupon would result in $62 after tax oil change. Was told approx 1 hour wait time when I pulled in. It took 1.75 hours for the oil change and I was the only one waiting. My bill was $70.15. They added $8.05 shop fees plus random $.97 "other fees". Aren't shop fees included in price? What makes up "other fees"?? Everyone was very nice but don't believe what they tell you. Update: After seeing my review, the general manager called me and apologized for the long wait and their billing error and gave me a credit for the shop fees. I will give them another try.

They tried to change me over $300 for each coil pack plus fees and labor; I called the dealer and the same coils cost $120 each. They changed 4 connectors to the coils, just wires twisted and tape, finished in in less than 30 minutes, and they changed me over $800 for that arguing that it took them 4 hours and that the labor was $218 per hour. I double checked their work and fond that they didn't even finish all the connections and that they were about to let me go with the car still unfinished. I walked back into the shop and they quickly did that one connection in less than 5 minutes.

Got my air conditioner fixed. I wanted to make sure things were good before doing a review. Everything’s been working great. The staff at Scott’s Auto Repair was fantastic. Everyone was super nice and helpful. My schedule doesn’t work well with normal business hours but they made sure I was able to get my car even though it was past closing time. One of the other benefits of using Scott’s Auto Repair is they have loaner cars so you’re not inconvenienced. That really made a difference for me. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!! Great service, wonderful employees.

Scott’s Auto repair is a very welcoming shop! They have an excellent team and the environment is unlike any other. I have a lot of work that needs to be done on my car and Arren and I made an action plan for the most pertinent items to be completed first and a timeline for the rest. Arren explained in detail what things need to be fixed, estimated costs and time required. My first service was done last Saturday and we were even shuttled home by non other than Scott himself! Their customer service is amazing and I highly recommended them for any of your auto needs.

Tire blew up causing damage on the screw and made me lose a hove cap on a Sunday morning. Luckily they were open early on a Sunday. Literally the only one open. I was able to get my car there and they were able to figure out what was wrong with it. Price was expected, but they gave me so many options and payment plans that I was able to get my car fixed and have it the next day!! The staff is very kind. And they waited for me to pick up my car since I had to walk there. I arrived 16 minutes after close. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!

This place was awesome! I was driving around my neighborhood looking to get my inspection done because it was expiring that day. I got there at approximately 5:30 and they close at 6. They were so courteous and welcoming, even though it was the end of the shift, and immediately got to work on my car. I was able to wait in their very clean and comfortable waiting area that had cold water bottles available (in this heat!). Even the restroom was nice and clean. Certainly glad I stumbled upon this place and will surely be recommending!

I came in for an auto inspection and a AAA 40 pt checkup on my vehicles and ended up finding a great local auto service shop for all my future auto service needs. The staff and service are 5 ⭐️. Scott’s goes over and beyond in every way to make sure the customer leaves satisfied. Special kudos to Nick, General Manager, who clearly sets the bar high for this establishment by his own kind example of excellence and desire for complete customer satisfaction. I have already recommended Scott’s to my friends and family.

Had a check engine light on my truck that I couldn't diagnose. I had some ideas as to what it could be and shared them with the technical advisor Ryan who was not offended that I sometimes like to work on my vehicle myself. Anyway the part turned out to be the O2 sensor and it was replaced along with a brake flush. Ryan did recommend some services for the future but they were not concerning at the moment. Thanks Scott's Auto for getting my truck in working order!

Great mechanics, very knowledgably and friendly. They offer a ride home service if you're car is expected to take a while, which is great. They're a bit more pricey than other places BUT their work is good and I can leave my car with them and know the job will be done right. They're also very attentive to other possible issues with your car, they show you the broken parts and don't try to upsell you. Over all trustworthy and I will be back for future car repairs.

I have used Scott's Auto Repair for many years and they have serviced many cars that I have owned. Today I only own one car and am limited to how long I can be away from the house. I asked if they could pick-up the car, service it and return it to my house. No problem at all, they did it, it was done to my satisfaction. They even did a rework on an item that was not done properly many months ago. Raphael, the Service Writer was absolutely great to work with.

I couldn’t be happier. I called and asked if they had times to do a registration inspection, and they said yes and for me to bring the car in. I drove over immediately and they got to work immediately. I asked how long it should take and they said it would be ready in about 30 minutes. I did a quick bike ride and 35 minutes later they were calling telling me my car was ready for pick up. Ive been taking my car to Scott’s for years. I highly recommend them.

I had a great experience at Scott's Auto. Henry listened to what I had to say about the issues I was having and kept good notes on everything. Everyone was very friendly and attentive! My car was finished the same day and was even promised to get a free wash anytime I wanted to come in as they didn't get to it before I came to pick it up. They also changed my back window wiper because they saw it was falling off. Highly recommend. Honest and trustworthy.

Really nice people. Good communications. Fast service. Transparent about the work they did. You come in with a problem. They fix the problem. They let you know why the problem started and how it was fixed. And they don't pressure you into spending more money. Usually after getting my car repaired at other shops, I'd be annoyed because stuff never gets fixed properly. After I had my repairs here, I drove around all day and have had not a single issue.

It's great to have a "go to" auto shop where I trust everyone there to be honest about what my vehicles need and who perform excellent work without trying to nickle and dime me along the way. Scott's has great people that really make you feel like you are appreciated as a customer and that they genuinely care about providing great service. Called ahead as I’m only 3 minutes away from the shop and asked if I could come in for a quote. I was told it wasn’t busy and I could come in and be seen immediately for a “quick quote.” I waited 45 minutes and the clerks at the front just kept saying “a few more minutes.” My first and last time here. It was unreasonable of the clerk to say I’d be in and out. I can’t imagine what they quote their wait times when cars are in repair.

Had extensive repairs to my truck braking system. After repairs it still wasn't working properly. Took it back and they owned up to improper installation. They fixed it and there were problems a third time. Took it back again and they jumped on the repairs and gave me a loaner for my inconvenience. They are very concerned with customer satisfaction and doing things properly. Always courteous. I give them 5 stars.

I’m not sure if they scammed me, but they charged me $917.69 to change my spark plugs and a coil after I told them my check engine light was on. Many people afterwards told me they took advantage of me being a girl that’s unfamiliar with cars, which I definitely feel like they did. On top of that, my check engine light came back on two days later. I essentially paid nearly 1,000 dollars for nothing.

Aaron at Scott’s auto is like a car genius!! He assisted me with camaro in more ways than one ! You’re talking about from giving me a FREE estimate , connecting me to tow service, allowing my car to sit in the lot FREE OF CHARGE ! Customer service at its finest and super knowledgeable about cars in general ! These guys are incredible. They gave fair prices and quality service. Definitely recommend!

My experience was excellent! I needed my fuel pump replaced and some diagnostics done, and Rodrick was very informative and courteous, and patient with me. It was a little more than I had anticipated but well worth it, and they were able to get the job done in a matter of hours. There are a few items left to be done on my vehicle, and I'll definitely be taking it back to Scott's Auto Repair!

I had a flooded car and the engine was hydro locked they ended up replacing the whole engine. We mostly waited on the insurance to get back to us but once they received the new engine they had it ready the next day. The whole team took really good care of my car and as of today I have no issues. Special thank you to Erick for the constant communication! Highly recommend :D

The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. Some places take advantage of woman talk over their head and try to squeeze more money out of them. Scott's auto repair is not like that. They also have a courtesy service that took me home and picked me back up! There service a 10, Office staff a 10! Price and work a 10! My repair also came with a 3 year warranty!

I can't say enough great things about the service at Scott's. They are always so kind, professional, thorough, and efficient. They really do make you feel like a friend. The courtesy loaners are a plus when any issues need more than a day to solve. Highly recommend for quality repairs and maintence. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my vehicle.

As usual, the service was excellent. I had the regular six-month oil change and summer travel checkup and maintenance on my 2011 Subaru Forester. It was a nice low price of $158. They set my mind at ease that nothing was wrong on the car, and they didn't try to find some bogus repair for me to spend loads of money, like other auto shops do.

checked charging system and battery. only problem was battery cables. quick repair and all looks good. Time well spent. Scott was amazing and very friendly. He took time to make sure i understood everything. i think he went above the normal care for me and my truck. i will absolutely recommend him and will use him down the road as needed.

Aaren was superb! I came there to get an inspection done and it only took 20 mins without an appointment! Then I asked him to see if he could change the cabin filter and he did after making sure that he had a filter in stock. He also reset the warning message and showed me how to do it. I will definitely do more business with them all.

Amazing shop...Left a Subaru on its last legs and that had failed on the road ...they were polite and helpful and told me truthfully due to brake system rusted that it was a lost cause to revive. Had to get the drivetrain control module replaced on my Jeep and basic maintenance flushes. These guys were professional, did a great job on communication. Even provided a shuttle and loaner vehicle since my car was undrivable until the part arrived. Would definitely recommend. Since my Jeep has been running just fine.

Had such a good experience here. Went in for a check engine light, that turned out to be a lot more than initially expected - they provided thorough explanation and transparent pricing. Brought my car in for an oil change/second opinion and these guys were awesome! Great customer service and the crew is always smiling. Would highly recommend. I took my car in the afternoon and within 30 mins the shop was able to evaluate my car and assess needed repairs. MQ is the mechanic that helped me out and was very knowledgeable.
