I have booked with these guys before but no more. The manager of the location on 130th Ave seems like she hates people. The first time I booked with her she was incredible, the next time rude but thought maybe it was a bad day and this time she was terrible. Made changes without talking to me , would try and call one time and then said she couldn't reach me. Didn't respond to emails. I am sure that this is not an easy job now with all the issues they have had with their sister company Sunwing but I will not book through this location ever again. UPDATE I am at the resort now Ocean Riviera Paradise . The food Is terrible, the service worse, there are charges for food in some of the restaurants, the pools are not cleaned, the beach is unusable there is so much seaweed and this hotel does not clean it as others do. The rooms are ok but if you want more than 2 beer in your fridge they charge you. I could ho on and on . There are alot of very unhappy people here that won't be returning. When I pay ALO off money for an all inclusive I expect it is all inclusive. Even the staff say this hotel is terrible!!! This must have been a promotion for the travel agent as I am sure they would not sell this property if they came here

I booked a WestJet Vacation through SellOff Vacations. I booked the day before I left. Upon checking my booking receipt the next day as I was getting ready to go, I realized the hotel was incorrect and not the place I chose. I called SellOff right away. The response I got was that I should go to whatever hotel it was that I wanted to stay at and see if I can pay for a room on top of the amount I had already paid ($1800). I was horrified that that was her suggestion to me. She put me on hold and told me she was going to call WestJet Vacations to see if they would change my hotel after she realized how upset I was with her first suggestion. She got back on the line and told me that they said no and that was not an option for me. I hung up quite upset. I decided to call WestJet Vacations directly. They were absolutely fantastic. They changed my hotel at no charge because it was within 24 hours of my booking. The rep I spoke to was so helpful. She also told me there had been no notes on my account that someone had called to see if the change was even an option. Book directly with WestJet Vacations.... avoid SellOff Vacations... I know I will be.

Good value for the price. Older hotel with old school features such as a smaller but functional pool that I didn't use as I prefer the surf. Nice beach right in front of outside eating area. Basic but clean rooms and one hell of a view. Friendly staff those that could speak English and helping me learn more Espanol. Felipe a nice guy bartender at sports bar which catered more to bar staff as nothing but Mexican league football although they claim other sports but what the heck no big deal. Plenty of great restaurants and bars immediate to hotel on fairly busy street. I recommend Fat Fish for fantastic BBQ ribs, Marisco Marinara on the beach for super tasty Camarones and El Katrina bar & restaurant with live band the 2 nights I went there. And golf package with hotel at Marina Mazatlan golf course maybe 10 minutes away. Very nice course and got 4 rounds in with my pal. I am already planning another trip and thanks for help from Sheila at Sell Off Vacations out of Calgary.

This was my first all inclusive vacation in eight years and my boyfriend’s first ever. I walked into the 130 location and was greeted by Jas. Because we had a tight timeline, I needed to get the trip booked within three weeks. From that day forward, she went above and beyond to help me plan a Mexico vacation. I called her two or three times and also went back to the office a couple of times. Jas was very patient with me when I was having trouble deciding on which resort to choose. She never made me feel that I was taking too much of her time. She helped me pick the perfect package for us. My boyfriend was so impressed with the whole trip he wanted to go on another after only being back a week. Jas is very knowledgeable and has a very kind personality. The other two girls in the office also gave me recommendations based on their experiences in Mexico. I will definitely book our next vacation at this location.

I had the absolute pleasure (and luck!) to be transferred to Lamya Bellili, when I called the main line of SellOffVacations. I had just had a horrible experience with Expedia’s App in trying to book a cruise. Lamya stepped in and completely restored my faith in travel agents and agencies! She asked me all the right questions in regards to what I was looking for and listened patiently to my answers. She then went off and worked some magic and my husband, daughter and I will be setting sail January 4th! We had started losing hope in finding anything that suited our needs prior to connecting with Lamya. She was extremely knowledgeable about cruising and helped me navigate through all the available options. She took the time to search and call cruise lines and she secured us an amazing deal! We will definitely be calling Lamya for all our future travels!

stay away from them!!! I purchase my honeymoon ticket 2 month ago I tried change my trip 10days before my trip. My agent Mandy explain I can not change my schedule also non refundable Also I ask them to have chance to credit back or just little credit for me Because I lost $4300 by sell off vacation. They answer was no! They was trying to blame me about that happen ( they trying say to me everything is my fault ) I was told her you don't have to explain about my fault. why I call with customer service because I want to get some better comfort from them ( not blame me!!! ) If they trying to understand my situation and then feel sorry to me about that happen, I totally understand and just not upset! I never had experience like that customer service ever. do not complain to customer service They will yell at you! What a great customer service

Well i have used sell off for roughly 10 to 20 vacations the past few years and after today that will STOP, i booked a flight for me and my wife to Las Vegas as i have done before, but this time with sell off AFTER i received the final price, all taxes and fees included, i get an email from sell off saying now i will have 40 plus dollars per night american funds to pay when i get to Vegas, so not all taxes and fees in, called the tourism adviser, of-course they didn't do anything for me, i also cannot find someone from sell off corporate to complain to so Calgary office is getting it, totally bush league, hidden fees, expiration dates on their vouchers, never again sell off, and i hope you actually look into my account to see how many thousands you have made off me,... i guess being a good repeat customer means nothing....

I booked a tour, they took money from me. Then they wrote to me from some fraud department and wanted the credit card data when I paid with a debit card. At first I thought they were scammers and decided to call the hotline. I was told that there was no one from that department and asked to call tomorrow. I did it, but already at 1 pm they already canceled the order. Then I ordered a second time and the price for the same tour was higher! I booked through the operator and they took money from me. 8 hours before departure, they canceled the reservation again. After all, I don't have a vacation package and wasted my vacation days!!! It's been 3 weeks and I still haven't received the money! Addition: they haven’t returned my money till now(it’s been 8 weeks from that ) The worst service in my life!!!they don’t care even

This has got to be the worst customer service I have ever received. My fiancee and I went in to gather information about destination weddings and how to go about group bookings. The lady that we spoke with seemed like she was very out of it and almost like she was trying to push us out of the door as fast as she could. She then told us that she doesn't do group bookings so if we needed more info to email the person on a business card that she gave us. At this point I was like thank god I can email somebody who actually knows what they are talking about! So I sent the lady an email with all my questions and she NEVER got back to me! I can't believe it, you would think they would be all over helping me with my large group wedding, I guess not. I suggest going elsewhere if you need help with any traveling advice.

We will never use cell if vacations people out of Winnipeg steal the sales from the Calgary office then they’re not available to answer questions regarding our trip and we have to chase them in order to get a hold of them to answer our questions. Then when we get mad they decide to send our complaints up the ladder and nobody ever gets back to us we have emailed and phoned and nobody returned our calls or emails. The real kicker is we were promised a free suitcase and we never received a confirmation you email about the suitcase or the actual suitcase and it’s been three weeks after holiday and we still haven’t received any follow up as to where Our suitcase is. It’s businesses like this that should learn to improve from the customer experience

I have had the worse experience with this company. Sunwing will steal your money and not help you. I have had the run around now after they wanted me to pay an extra 5,000$ plus for my vacation. I do not trust these people and would never recommend them. They aren’t here to help. They are here to steal money, take as much as they can and never get back to you. Every time I deal with these people I feel stress and they are always working in their favour not yours. I would stay away. I went here and got sick. The woman who was working there was coughing and wasn’t wearing a mask. I was sick for 3 weeks and still sick from the aftermath. Stay away!

She was very helpful in assisting with a very rigid policy from Air Canada vacations and got me the best compromise she could. She then helped me setup a great package that was better than I had originally, as well. We wanted a travel agent to help us book a European vacation, called in and was told to email Cori as she was a specialist in Europe. I emailed her all of the details of our trip, dates, stops etc…Cori called and said she couldn’t help us out with our trip but she would have her sister company (travel specialist) look into this and call us back. It’s been over three weeks and we haven’t heard a word!! I thought that travel agents jobs were to help you book your trip. I guess not. Not helpful at all.

As a bride and host of a large group booking purchased through this location of sell off my experience has been less than mediocre. But why wouldn't it be when the staff there have no manager or anyone to report to but a head office in Toronto apparently. They have done nothing for me that I couldn't have done myself and spared the confusion of multiple staff members telling different people different information. Spare yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Sheila Trott was great. We casually strolled into her office not really knowing where we wanted to go, just that we needed a vacation. We told her what we were kind of thinking and how much we wanted to spend. She took the time to review a number of different options with us and we booked on the spot. We booked a vacation over the phone with someone and ended up with a "resort" that wasnt beach front and pretty much just a hotel, which was not what we wanted at all. Terrible,actually really terrible agency. If I get any trouble- they won’t help you ,no way they even try. Especially if that would be their fault. They just want you to pay them money,never give you services and never return your money and behave like it’s only your problems and they have nothing to do with this! We were waiting for 8 weeks for refund our money when they were doing nothing,now we turned to lawyer and will go to the court.

Booked a vacation to VIK Hotel Arena Blanca All Inclusive in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Apr. 06 to Apr 20 which was the worst vacation we ever had. The representative of Selloff did not have any idea about his products and could not offer us any advise, basically no clue about what they sell. They post information mostly falls, flights were the worst and this was the second time we received deceiving information .

This is my second time booking Jaswinder from sell of vacations Last year we went to Cuba through her and this year she again helped us with planning our Jamaica trip. Fine print doesnt accommodate when needing to make a flight change. Airlines cannot accommodate because of 3rd party purchasing. Will never use sell off vacation again and make sure everyone I know doesnt as well. Too bad as the flight prices were worth it. But because of an error it cannot be rectified without paying big $$$$
