Founder of Senith Electronics, late Mr.Ranjan Senarathna was the pioneer of giving electronic knowledge to Sri Lankan electronic enthusiasts in Sinhala language. He did this through the magazine "Sipnana" (සිප්නැණ), which was published by him. Even I learned the ABC of electronics from සිප්නැණ. Unfortunately he is not with us now. But his family is continuing Senith Electronics. Son of Mr.Ranjan is having a good knowledge on electronics and he promptly help customers. I have been with the Senith Electronics since my school days. It was founded 32 years ago near Nalanda Collage Colombo 10 and I was one of the early frequent customers. Founder Mr R Senarathna and it was in his own house. Senith made us all fascinated with electronics those days in the Transistor era. Even in those old days Senith had all we needed to quench the thirst of electronics. Today also it has no exception. Keep up the good work!

Sometimes it's crowded. But not at all time. Shop is nice and clean. They supply good products. I bought a NodeMCU and power pack for my research over a year ago and still, they work perfectly. Prices are little bit higher than other shops. But that is fine because we don't need to worry about parts are working or not. They are working perfectly more than we expected. As a customer, satisfaction with the place is great.

I called this place couple of times to get some produt information. I got very clear answers and when I asked more and more questions and clarifications about the circuits and other details they clarified in a way that I can understand, even I'm not a professional. I really appropriate that patience. They are maintaining a good web site where we can check products.

A nice place with a helpful staff. A lot of components are available in stock even during this time of crisis. I found a few rare components at this place, which I couldn't be found even at the 1st Cross Street. Prices are reasonable too. The only downside is that the place is a bit under staffed. As a result a queue could be observed during rush hours.
