I came here for first time Canadian passport application on Jan 12, 2024. I reached there at 8:20am (10mins prior to opening time) and there were around 12 people in front of me. Five mins later, another 10 people came. Fortunately, I was able to book an appointment 2 days in advance so as soon as the office opened, I was called in by the staff. It took around 15-20mins to complete the whole procedure, which was straightforward and easy. TIPS: 1. If you mind waiting outside (esp. under the cold weather) like me, I would recommend you to access the website multiple times per day and try to book an appointment. 2. Even though you have an appointment, try to come around 15mins early to get everything done on time. 3. Bring the original identity (Health Card, Driver's License, Original Passport) with you to proceed the steps fast.

Great experience! Arrived closer to 11:00 on Wednesday and went right in to the building. The parking lot was fairly full. There were four groups ahead of me and it probably took me a little over 5 minutes. Went to wait for my turn in the waiting area which was maybe 10 minutes. After that I was done! Pleasant people that are doing the best with what they have. Some people complain but just make sure you have your paperwork ready and maybe consult with a friend before coming in without what you need. The government has a limited budget for any location and is also limited by who is available and willing to work. I'm sure the people here would gladly have more in the office to help if it was up to them. Tip: parking is paid but it's not that much. Don't put a lot of money in until you know how long you're going to be.

Came along with my sister to renew our passports before 8am to avoid the long lineups. Upon arrival, 6 people were ahead. Before the opening time, staff and security divided us by appointment and what service we needed and went into the lineup around the building. The longest part was the waiting outside; once we entered in, I estimate we were in there for about 30-45 minutes. From the security, front desk personnel and the agent who did our renewals, I found them to be friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. When I went, masks were still required to enter (they will provide masks for those who don’t have one) and kept sure people were distanced. Overall, a good experience with a great staff (don’t speak for everyone).

Booked an appointment the day before. Appointment was for 8:30, when I arrived at 8:20 there were 15 people in line waiting for the office to open. When they opened, they welcomed anyone with an appointment to come inside. The person who was at the back of the line when I arrived walked in 10 minutes after me, so he didn't have to wait all that long. When we walked in the staff were all standing at the front, smiling, and ready for us. My passport application was processed within 15 minutes and I was back on the road. The agent was polite & efficient. Definitely recommend booking an appointment. The appointment booking process is a bit hard to find, but worth searching out.

Unfortunately, my experience at Service Canada in Etobicoke was quite disappointing. I visited to obtain my SIN number and was met with a long wait time of over an hour. To make matters worse, there was no proper facility to wait in, and we were forced to stand outside in the cold for the duration of the wait. I understand that government offices can be busy, but the lack of proper waiting facilities was frustrating and uncomfortable. Although the service itself took only 10 minutes, the long wait time and inadequate facilities left a negative impression. I hope that Service Canada can improve their waiting area and reduce wait times to provide a better customer experience.

It is unfortunate to have to talk to the people hired to take care of the office and at the same time they treat you so contemptuously and the worst thing is that they are not informed of the procedures you can carry out in this office, especially they should take more care of the type of people they put in charge. take care of the entrances to these important offices

Don’t waste your time coming to renew your passport here if you’re travelling in 45 days or less. They only have 3 chairs to sit in and the rest of the people in line had to wait outside. On top of that you have to pay for parking. If you decide to come here I would suggest to be here for 6:30/7:00AM so you avoid the long line up.

I arrived about 30-40 minutes before they opened and was about fifth or sixth in line. Granted this was in October, so perhaps after the summer holiday rush. When they opened, I was able to get an walk-in appointment for a SIN straight away. The lady was extremely friendly and I walked out with a SIN 10 minutes later :)

Today I went to renew my passport at Glen Erin passport office. Reached there at 10 am. Waited on line outside for almost 2 hours in this cold weather. Service was very slow and rude receptionist. After waiting for 4 and hour hours finally called my name for cubical agent. Worst service at this location. Waste of time.

Showed up at 3.15 pm for a passport application but they locked the door. The woman's excuse was that she only has 3 staffs working and 6 people waiting for passports and if she let us in her staff will pack up and pretend to be sick. That where out tax dollars go. Inefficient, lazy immigrant government workers.

  • Kaz Takemura

I found the staff here to be helpful and friendly, and the line moved pretty quickly given the amount of people who are coming through. My only complaint is that you have to pay for parking. This is a government services building in the heart of Mississauga - not downtown Toronto...

Pretty good place. Polite and professional staff. We didn't have to wait for more than ten minutes to be given a number. We waited for our number to be called for about 3 minutes. I don't know if it's always like that but I'm grateful the service was smooth today, alhamdullilah.

Cause of less staff members at the centre, it can take 4-5 hours so be prepared for waiting and standing in the queue. Go as early you can so your turn will come fast, try to reach around 8:00 am or before. Centre opens at 8:30 am. Rest Staff is cheerful & helping.

People are getting frustrated for lining up these days for their passport. However, compared to the office on Burharmthorp, this place has much shorter line. This office seems to only accept passport application of those who won't travel

They make my 72 years old father wait 2 hours and and then told him that we are closed. They don’t have respect for old people and everyone was rude and they think they are the boss. They should remember that they are our servants.

  • Sidra Saeed

Had a very positive staff experience, everyone was helpful and professional! I came in at a good time on Monday, just a bit past noon, and it was not busy at all! No appointment. In and out in under 30 mins, I couldn’t believe it!

Understaffed, the staff present was helpful though. No drinking water facility. Came here at 11:30 and right now it’s 3 pm. Still waiting to get SIN.

  • Andrii Makukha

Got my SIN here. I arrived at 6:50 AM, was done by 9:20. There were about 20-30 people in front of me (some family members waited in their cars).

One welcome attendant only for a line up out the door and to the street on Glen Erin today. Avoid this place if you’re able too.

  • Діма Дорошенко

The queue passes so-so, we had to wait. You fill out the form with your data and wait for a call. Made a SIN number for CUAET.

  • Daniel

Actually one of the most decent Service Canada I ever visited. Employees were professional, efficient and very polite.

  • Rayyan Khan

Would give this 0/5 stars, line has not moved for an hour and there are about 100 people ahead of us at 11am.

  • Clarence Gaultieri

Love how people give one star for long lines as if the employees can control 100 people showing up .

  • Ibrahim Ahmed
