I gotta say, I wasn't expecting much from this pub, but boy was I pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious and the staff was on point. But what really got me was the vibe - it was so cool! The place was packed, just like a true pub should be. I had a great time there and I'm definitely planning on coming back.

Instead of going all the way to The Ex on a Sat afternoon okfor a corn dog, I went to Shakey's for the first time. The corn dog was exactly what I was craving. Good draft beer selection. I also enjoyed my conversations with the the regulars. Gald I went and looking forward to visiting again sometime soon. More

Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. Service was top notch - attentive, friendly, efficient. All food was delicious. Had the duck spring rolls, queso and chips and the peameal bacon sandwich special. Prices are super reasonable. Great atmosphere, welcoming and chill. Definitely recommend.

Lovely wee pub to grab a few pints and some food, service was top notch and the beer pours were on point, cannot fault anything about the place. Loved the fact that the music was muted and we could have a proper conversation as well, local geezers at the pub were pretty friendly to boot

More of a place to drink than anything, however I did find one of the cocktails overpriced. If you're in there for beer, then you're good. The food was decent, it didn't have a big variety but again, it is more of a place to drink and watch sports.
