"Staff at deli extremely rude and unhelpful"
"I'm afraid of buying meat from this place ever again after I showed to the owner that she is selling food that's out of date for weeks and yet she left them on the shelf contaminating everything around and risking other people buying them and getting food poisoning"
"This Costcutter has a lot of things"
They should implement a “make yourself your own wrap” as the staff always seems annoyed to do it for you, except for the lovely woman that works there. She’s a star, but the guy that always makes my wraps in the most disgusting way in the mornings, I just wish you a very good day every day because it seems he needs it.
The man and his family are legends, he has not closed for a single day hail, rain, snow, hurricane or Christmas for the last 45 years!!! That's over 16,400 days and still open. These people are what local shops aspire to be. Service with a smile, keep up the great work Shay and family and staff. …
Staff at deli extremely rude and unhelpful. Ask for a chicken roll and they never asked what I wanted on it just walked off and handed me it plain, everytime I return they mess up my order or don't offer toppings, or if you ask first before the chicken they huff and puff. Sick of it to be honest.
I'm afraid of buying meat from this place ever again after I showed to the owner that she is selling food that's out of date for weeks and yet she left them on the shelf contaminating everything around and risking other people buying them and getting food poisoning
This Costcutter has a lot of things. A little messy and the vegetables are not so fresh everyday. But the beer part is one of the best I have seen in Dublin. For such small place, it's a great achievement. Also there is a post office inside, very practical.
Prices are very good, can buy bus tickets easily and no minimum card spend needed. But don't even think of buying perishables here. The fruit on display are visibly mouldy at times and meat products have already gone off before you've bought them.
I had never experienced rudeness in Shay's until today. I was attempting to explain to the dark haired woman on the till that I had a mishap with a cucumber(my bag had tipped over, the cucumber fell out and I stepped on it) and was going to
I was on the phone to my dad when I got into shop I got off the phone I ask the girl for 3 sausage rolls she thought I said chicken fillet I said what u mean spice or not spice I said I want sausage rolls she turn around to me said you were
I've been going to Shay's almost all my life and a nicer man you couldn't wish to meet. Super friendly staff and having the post office in the store is very helpful and convenient. The girls in the post office are very nice, helpful, and
Bought 2 coffee from here and had to return them because they tasted awful. The blond lady with glasses from the cash register became very defensive and called me a liar indirectly by saying she had one of those coffee in her brake and it
It's a great convenience store. Post office and office license. They are always open and the staff is friendly, so are Hazel, Lisa and the man himself. Everybody knows : how are you kiddo. I worked there years ago and I enjoyed it.
Blonde woman tends to overcharge EVERY time I go there. She's also quite rude and never says hello back. Its a shame they have staff like that because the shop itself is decent. Wont be coming back
Grand place. Horrible staff. Never have a good interaction with the lady who works in the deli. Dont know what her issue is but if she hates it there so much she should just leave!
Shays golf quarters is my local shop it’s very reasonably priced but you always have to check your receipt because most of the time to reduce price is not go through there till
Shays is a real wonder. You could get lost in this shop. Where else can you buy milk, chocolate and wall paper paste on a Sunday evening! Always a bargain to be had in Shays
The smell in this shop disgusting. €3 for a cuppa tea is just robbing the customer. The area where the cup lids is absolutely filthy. That’s the last time I use this shop.
Brilliant shop and very reasonable price lovely family and helpful staff great supporters of the local gaa Whitehall Colmcille
Brilliant and very nice owner, some staff can seem rude but the family that own the place are very helpful and always happy.
Great shop for bargains staff are very friendly too. Not much evidence of face masks being worn by anyone though …
Excellent choice, excellent prices, and for me personally most importantly excellent staff everybody is so helpful.
Great convenience store. Post office in back. Baker, Butcher, deli counter and coffee. Always has special deals on
Always a great shop. Great range of products. Post Office on site. Really nice owner Shay and his daughters.
Best prices in Beaumont - that's why it's my favorite store. Staff always friendly and helpful.
The man working here is always extremely helpful to my child and I. Great bargains to be had
Your only one stop shop in Whitehall with a great range. Serves rolls and hot drinks too.
Great deals in store. Always have lots and lots of stock. Very convenient and inexpensive
Worst and rudest staff ever. never stocked bad prices will never be coming back ever.
Really friendly staff and great selection for a relatively small grocery/newsagents.
Great local shop Keeps large variety of products. Staff always lovely
The Biquit role was very bread like ,lacking that French flower touch

Not too big, but big enough to have almost everything you can need
Nice place to go and get everything you need the staff are lovely
