First time with Shiva, it was good, went back for second time and had rough experience with a gentlemen (possibly Ali?). I have a basic guy haircut, sides/back are shaved a little, the bangs/top being longer so i can my comb the bangs to the side. I walk in and inform him, "can i have a clean up? sides shaved to 3 or 4, leave bangs and top longer" He nodded and said OK. 20 min later, 80% of my head is shaved (using a 2 it seems)and he has jelled my hair spiked up in the air like I'm ready to go clubbing in Europe. I had informed him during the cut how i liked my hair, but there was a huge language barrier. I really did like this place the first time. But I'm pretty bummed out since he said he has been cutting a long time. I defiantly suggest this salon for the ladies but if you are a gentlemen, your hair style may change when you leave.

I found this place through google when looking for a great place in my neighborhood and I was not disappointed. I went in with a specific look in mind. Ali was the one cutting my hair, he did make a few suggestions against what I wanted. He first cut my hair the way that he thought would look the best, then gave me multiple chances to choose to keep it his way or do it my way. I chose my way and I was very satisfied with both of the cuts. The salon is very cute, I will definitely be coming back again.

First of, my hairdresser repeatedly judged my hair choices. She asked me why I had gone full blonde and told me I should have gotten highlights. And she told me the way she cut my hair initially was better than what I was asking for. Also, she did a poor job bleaching my roots. It's spotty and turned out a completely different shade than the rest of my hair even though she used toner and I showed her a picture of what I wanted. I will definitely not be coming back.

They used to have an amazing person doing eyebrow threading here, but she left and since then they’ve had a rotation of various other people who don’t do a very good or consistent job. I tried to give it a chance on three separate occasions with the new people, but each time was worse than the last. They may do a good job at their other services but you’re better off going to the Devon area for eyebrows.

I go there to get my hair cut and my beard leveled off. Easy right? Went there today and I thought he was going to tidy up my beard when he starts cutting it off at grade one. I didn't want to lose my beard. My wife likes my beard. I so angry right now and plan on NEVER going there again. Plus they charged me for it even after I told them about losing my beard.

Worst experience, extremely rude and unprofessional . The woman who does the make-up and hair is extremely rude. I had an appointment and came early for it. She told me to wait even though it was my appointment. I waited for 20 minutes before I said that I had an appointment and cannot wait any longer. The workers response was a shoulder shrug

Great personal, professional friendly owner worked hard highlighting my hair and cleaning up my own horrendous covid cut from the past year! Pricing was very comparable to what I have been receiving through Salon Apprentice. So happy to have a local place to support and receive great service with in walking distance.

Shiva does an amazing job and always impresses me with her skills and I recommend her to everyone, but My husband and I both have had horrible experiences with the male working there. He doesn't listen to suggestions and just does what he wants. I have never been so frustrated. Definitely ask for Shiva!!!

Went today to get my hair cut for the first time in over two years after a horrible experience at another salon left me with all my hair burnt off. Ali did such a great job of cutting my hair and it really allayed my fears of getting my hair cut again. I will definitely be going back to them next time.

Shiva does an amazing job with hair. She really knows her trade and always has the best suggestions. I have never walked out of her salon unsatisfied. I usually go in for a color and cut, sometimes with an idea of what I want, and she takes that and turns it into a great look.

She was nice she helped me with my baby-s stroller but my hair was long i like it long i told her i wanna keep it long now its right under my shoulders i cant believe it it was all they way to end of my back what should i do now? Wait another year for it to grow !!!

I walked right in on a Friday morning, and was out in 15-20 minutes with a great haircut! I didn't get the sense that she was rushing- she just knew exactly what she was doing. Women's haircuts are $28. Quick and knowledgeable service for a reasonable price.

Shiva is one of the bests. I always received a lot of compliments when I had my haircut by her and enjoyed my time in her salon. She is very considerate and caring lady. The price is also very reasonable considering the quality. Thank you Shiva Jan!

I usually call ahead (day of) to make an appointment just to ensure I won't wait long. But walk ins are welcome, and it is easy to be seen immediately on a week day. Saturdays are a little busier. Ali has been cutting my hair for 2 years,
