Wanted to give 5 stars, but reducing it to 2 stars due to a recent experience. Swaminarayan trust is famous all over the world for their services & they have a good reputation. But last Thursday we had besna of one of our family member and we were 15 people for lunch. We all visited the swaminarayan museum for lunch as they had agreed that no booking is needed for 15-20 ppl. As soon as we all reached there they denied lunch to all of us just because we all werw in white clothes and we wanted to do lunch after besna of our family member. Such a huge institution and they follow such practice ! Are the people who attend besna to be treated as untouchable? What kind of service is this? That you cannot have lunch in swaminarayan if you have attended besna you cant have lunch ? It's not written anywhere and don't any of the family members of the institution of swaminarayan museum die? Do they also go elsewhere for food? Or this rule is for normal public only? The respect that was there for the swaminarayan museum deteriorated after this as god has not told that of u attend besna than you are untouchable. They also dont provide bill for any snacks/tiffin that you take from the outlet over there. So do they run this business only for their own profit? How can you deny lunch to the persons who have came there. All belong to good and respected family and just because you are a big institution doesnt mean that you are boss. Its clearly visible now that you are only interested in money as the one who is there to serve people doesnt deny like this. And we were paying for lunch and not asking for free. The insulting way you denied lunch to a group just because we had attended a besna is totally improper. Nothing lasts forever, you will not be able to run this institution successfully like this. Also you dont provide bill for all the snacks in outlet and in museum so its clear that you are here to earn money and not to serve people

(૨) જગ્યા - નારણપુરા ખાતે આ વિશાળ જગ્યા પર સ્થિત છે. તેથી તેની અંદર જતાં જ તમને એક અનોખો અનુભવ થશે. (૩) વોશરૂમ - પ્રવેશ કરતાં જ ડાબી બાજુ એક વોશરૂમ (પૂરૂષ/મહિલા) તથા અંદર જતાં મુખ્ય ગેટની ડાબી બાજુ વિશાળ અને સ્વચ્છ વોશરૂમની સુવિધા છે. (૪) જોવાલાયક - અહીં શ્રી સ્વામીનારાયણ ભગવાન જે - જે વિવિધ સ્થળોએ રોકાયેલ તે દરેક ધામ ની પ્રતિકૃતિ તૈયાર કરેલી છે. જેમ કે, છપૈયા, જેતલપુર વગેરે. અને સાથો સાથ તેમનાં વિવિધ અવશેષો અને તેમણે ઉપયોગ કરેલ પ્રસાદીની વસ્તુઓ પણ પ્રદર્શનમાં મૂકેલ છે. ઓટોમેટિક પ્રવેશદ્વાર સાથે સેન્ટ્રલ એ.સી.માં વિવિધ નૌતમ રૂપના દર્શન નો આનંદ માણી શકશો. (૫) જમવાની વ્યવસ્થા - અહીં જમવાની ખુબ જ ઉત્તમ જગ્યા તથા વ્યવસ્થા કરેલ છે. જે તમે પેઈડ-પાસ મેળવી ઉત્તમ ભોજનનો લાહ્વો લઈ શકો છો. જમવા માટે સરસ સ્ટીલનાં થાળી, વાડકા, ચમચી; બેસવા માટે ખુરશી - ટેબલ; વોશબેસીન, પાણી પીવાનું, એમ ખુબ જ ઉત્તમ વ્યવસ્થા તમને જોવા મળશે. તો એકવાર અચૂક મૂલાકાત લેશો.

Even if you are or not a devotee of swaminarayan sampraday, you should definitely visit this place. A great example of history preserved so well with such good care, hats off to the authorities. Whatta divine place. So there are almost 11-12 small halls in which different different places from where the lord swaminarayan stayed and which kind of things were used by him such as his clothes, his hair, nails, handwritten letters. So beautiful! the whole museum is very neat and clean. even the food was bomb ❤️ A great example of history, as well as devotion. Definitely a 1000% recommended place. Jai Swaminarayan

Shree swaminarayan museum. This place has a big role in my life. This is the place which has a huge collection of all belongings of lord swaminarayan. On entering this place, everyone is able to feel the positivity of this place. There is a canteen which serves hygienic and authentic food without onion and garlic. There is an hall as well for small dining function. My mairrage dining was arranged here. Believe me, each and every guests ware surprised with the holiness of this place. I recommend all to visit this place and go through each halls of collection of items of lord swaminarayan.

This place is not just for spending 1 hour . If it's a rush then even 3 hours is minimum.the architecture is beautiful than anything. Seriously the staff and the people working there are so kind and helpful. This place would strengthen your believe over god and would attract you towards his worship. It was a quite hour when i went although the arrangements were such that it can handle a large crowd. It's a highly recommended place if you are in ahemdabad then spending quality time here is a good choice as per my opinion. I had a great day here so i recommend it.

It was a great experience to see Shri Sehejanandji maharaj own belongings and his life Lila. He was a great being and a reformer. If you follow any swaminarayan sampraday this museum is must to visit. I specifically loved the VR at the end of the tour. Food in the canteen was good too. Jai swaminarayan

The food place is open only during the daytime; it's closed at night. I enjoyed pure Gujarati food for just Rs. 100 on Ekadashi. They served delightful fasting food with buttermilk on that day, and it's already prepared. A person can take an unlimited quantity of any item.

The museum is fantastic. Gathered all used things of god Swaminarayan. 2 hrs. Required to visit. One can take entry by 11 am then visit 1 to 7 halls in 1 raw. A canteen in Center & after take meal (prasadi) then visit rest 8 to 11 halls. The each hall consists historie Holly things used by God swaminarayan. So atleast 3 hrs. required.

As all Swaminarayan facilities are famous for......This too is a beautiful religious precinct. Well designed and nicely maintained. Food is very hygienic and tasty. The museum along with the temple exhibits the original artifacts from the time Lord Swaminarayan. One might need 4 to 5 hours to completely visit the facility.

It's a beautiful place there is no entry fees.. it's devoted to swaminarayan.. you can easily spend around 2hrs in having a look at the place.. there is canteen also inside with reasonable price.. you can take your family or specially senior citizens they would connect with the place and love it... Monday's it's closed

It's only one of the museum which here all real thing of load swaminarayan , it was devided to section wise like ( vadtal, bhuj, junagadh, dholera, gadhda,ahamdabad ,panchala , muli ), You visit and Thair you fill really 100% peaceful , different changes in your mind and hart. Thay have nominal entry charge like - 20₹

One of the best spiritual museums. If you're one of Swaminarayan followers must visit. There are lot many things you will come to know and in each room there are volunteers who will explain you in details about each and every prasad of Swaminarayan bhagwan kept in museum.

Very nice place. Peaceful environment. Every original prasadi items of Lord Swaminarayan kept in one place. Movie show is nice. Well maintained. Get here to spend 3 hours to view everything in deep. Here everyone can get information for original Swaminarayan Sampraday.

Food quality is average. But seating arrangement is not good as compared to cost of Food. Behaviour of staff is very good and polite.

Shree Swaminarayan Museum is a wonderful place of the collection of lord swaminarayan belongings...! It also gives of alm the temples of swaminarayan Bhagwan. Food is also very nice at canteen.

Ohh, Beautiful and its all things are used ( Prasadibhut Clothes, Hair, Nail and Too much Spritual scripures etc etc)by Lord Swaminarayan. Also its 12 different sections of Swaminarayan Meusum.

It's a very nice, cool, beautiful and religious place. You can spend 2 to 3 hours over here. Entry is free. This place also have vegetarian canteen facility with reasonable charge.

All cities swaminarayan mandir under one roof. They have prasaadi (things used by maharaj) of Swaminarayan maharaj. Its a beautiful place. And good to meet acharya ji too
