The biggest library probably of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The library has huge beautiful building with different section, branches like Islamic Section, urdu literature, English literature, pashto literature, hindko literature, Persian and all major languages including English, pashto, hindko books are available. A huge and rich resources in the reference section is there which could be utilized by university, college students, academicians and the general public. Research scientists, students alike could avail the opportunities of researching, references from the resources that are available here. There are alot of books available on almost every genre and topic of interest for students. The library has subscription nominal fee of three hundred after which the books could be issued to public members two at a time for a period of fifteen days. This library is a must visit for the lover of books. Those books that could not be find on new and old book shops or other libraries might be there. Library also encompasses huge collection of old books before Independence.

It's a Provisional Directorate of Archives and Libraries of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa located in Peshawar. It's an attached department of Higher Education Archives and Libraries, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It has now about 16 public Libraries working in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. There are about 150,000 books on different subjects. Before Pakistan creation, in 1946, it was a separate Directorate called Central Record Office, setup in the Victoria Memorial Hall NWFP, (Now called Peshawar Museum )on the recommendation of Indian Historical and Record Commission. Then, after Pakistan creation, the office remained in the Victoria Memorial Hall till 1973, then shifted to Divisional Council Hall, Shahi Bagh, Peshawar. In 1985, Directorate of Archives and Libraries was shifted to Benevolent Fund building till 1992.then in 1992, a separate building in front of Civil Secretariat was constructed.

You are allowed to bring your books, mobiles and laptops inside the premises of the library. In addition, a beautiful garden. If you wanna issue books, then you must register for their membership. The staff are very supportive and friendly.overall an Excellent place for students.

Asalam U Alikum. Hope you all will be great. This Library is meant for pure learning if you are goal oriented , a beautiful environment it provides to every of its student. It provides you a canteen , masjid , washrooms and huge lawn for refreshments or sunbath and a plenty of cars and motorbike parking. You'll find most of your favorite books right here (Every Subject) because of its huge capacity (5 lakh).

Lots of books treasure - old and new - but it is hard to search books as there is no catalogue or card catalogue or computer catalogue or on line catalogue is maintained or managed through which any book with respect to its author or year or subject or category cab searched speedily and to know the exact place or rack of the book or whether it's out or in etc etc.

Located at the heart of Peshawar on main Saddar road next to the museum. Building is well maintained, seperate area for kids and females is available. Very interesting books and archives collection, beautiful and vast lawn, along with proper prayer area. A canteen with basic meal items on low rates. Open for general public around the year.

Treasure in the sea of education. A perfect place for study meterial and examinations missing the moments of childhoods and surprise to saw my favorite book at same place with same reference number. Specially smell of the books helps me to discover my old books. Price less moments once again after 8 years around the diamonds.

The existence of Shuhada-e-APS library is a unique achievement for the people of Peshawar. And even for the people of far fitch areas. A Top Class Library Named After APS School Martyrs- It Has a Vast Collection of Books Covering Every Field and Study Material- Students Often found Here Studying Study Related Materials. But Givernment should Aware People Regarding How to Get Benefits From Such kind of Treasury.

It is a good place to study. Library is quite and disciplined. Natural lighting is sufficient for study. The only issue is that sometimes it is overcrowded and there is not enough place in the premises to study.

Shuhada-e-APS library is a good library in Peshawar KPK it has calm environment for study and updated reading stuff, the library has no internet facility till now Dec 28, 2020 so I am giving it 4 stars for that.

Updated with much comprehensive and international books indeed the bestest library . Worth studying here and clean environment, administrative crew is also humble and further more cleanliness is maintained :)
