The only problem is that there are very few Shops in this Shopping Centre and after speaking to previous Tenants they said the Problem was the New Owner's wanted specialist Local Shops in the Newly Renovated Property but I was Advised that the rent was so expensive new Start up Boutique Businesses could not afford the Rent, also following its renovation 8 years ago the rents have remained very Expensive so at the Moment there are Very Few shops in this Centre"

It would be Great if the New Ownership Reduced the Monthly Rates to below the Price of the Highcross Shopping Centre right Opposite, this would bring in new Local Businesses and once they have established themselves in the Market then the New Ownership can look at New Rates and increase the Monthly Rent!! Although this Building is practically Empty Im still giving this a 5 Stars all around due to the Amazing Renovation and attention to detail making the Centre an Amazing Architectural Gem in Leicester im sure in a few years it will be full as Leicesters Economy Grows Every Year!!!

This place deserves to be 5 stars due to the beautiful architecture and fantastic restoration. Looks amazing. Sadly it is not used to its full potential with vacant premises. I used to visit here regularly in the 1990's. At that time the building looked run down, the lift did not work, but it had shops and was busy. There was a reason to visit. The Arcade today is a wasted opportunity. Only a handful of businesses, sadly little reason to visit. I'm not sure if as someone else has stated the owners of the arcade are charging too high rent If that's the case please lower the rates and get some businesses back in there bringing new life to the place. The is a wonderful place and would be a shame to see it fail.

The place is gorgeous and has beautiful vibe about it. I am however disappointed with how little could be found inside. This place should be used like Victoria centre in Leeds or some other high end spot that's so needed in Leicester..it's just a beautiful space being nothing but wasted.. Leicester City should try bit harder to organise this place and make it hot spot of the centre.

Literally terrible, theres a gorgeous little cafe in here that never has any customers simply because NO ONE KNOWS ITS THERE. Like everyone just walks straight past this whole arcade as it looks shut down! The council or someone needs to just rejuvenate this arcade and get it some business because it could easily be lovely :)

Very nice little arcade with a cute deli, and a few shops here and there. I love the architecture of the place, but after walking around for 5 minutes, I couldn't figure out if there is a way to go to the upper floors. Very clean and calm, and the atmosphere is very soothing. Give it a try!

Used to have a wonderful atmosphere full of great independent little boutiques passionate about what they do... Since gentrification has lost any atmosphere it had... Having said that Deli Flavour on the ground floor is well worth a visit

  • Alli May Bee

Went to the great deli on the ground floor. It serves very very good decaffeinated coffee and lovely scones as well as a extensive range of other deli inspired savoury dishes. The layout of furniture was pleasantly chaotic.

Doughnut shop. Video games shop. Coffee shop. That's three essentials right there. A trip to Leicester usually contains a visit to Silver Arcade! Wish it was packed full of independent traders, but what it has is great.

I like the silver arcade its a very old building victorian if ime right but has been done up to modernisation but keeping the old materials of metal and all its old surroundings lovely shops/outlets to browse...

  • Roy Sherwin

Sadly despite it's long over due restoration, done to a very high standard, there re still several vacant spaces. That said it's worth a visit to this great arcade and a great coffee shop.

  • Dan Westmoreland

Sadly the arcade has very little in it despite its beautiful and sympathetic restoration a few years back. There are simply not enough shops giving the visitor little reason to visit.

  • SJ W

Beautiful renovation but now closed due to council inability to lower business rates for an aspirational venture which has now failed.

  • Susan E. Hill

I went to the cafe in that area with my parents even though it was difficult for me to walk there due to my health conditions

  • Beccy Graham

Love going to jenni's (wool shop) always feel welcomed never rushed, staff helpful. Again sad to see so many empty units.

  • Yvonne Wale

A very nice cafe in silver arcade that do very nice ham cheese with chilli jam toasted sandwiches( gluten free) and cakes

  • Fe Dracott

I've always loved Silver Arcade but it's a shame it's not fully occupied and bustling like it used to be in the 90's.

  • Gerard Swan

Great place. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great views. Great coffee. Nice place to meet friends or sit with a book.

  • Julian Worker

A thoroughfare between streets containing some interesting shops. All the arcades in Leicester are different.

  • Tom Collins

Beautiful Victorian arcade. More should be made of it though. It should be a destination in itself.

  • Ellie Day

Beautiful new development. The Deli (ground floor) is lush, I usually pop in for lunch!

  • Teresa Donoghoe

Bryter Moon Deli is great. Friendly staff, superb avocado on toast and good coffee.

  • Marco Giglio

maybe it was a coincidence but I found myself a little inexperienced staff

  • Robert Freeman

Fascinating range of small shops and similar, almost next to the Market.
