Simply Diego's is simply the best! So here's a little story about why I would drive to the moon to visit them. I discovered Simply Diego's when I adopted my dog, Nya, from Lap Dog Rescue of New Mexico 16 months ago. I received information about free pet food that I could get from them, so we went to get it, particularly because it was food that Nya had been eating while she was with her foster. I fully intended to wean Nya off of the food, because I wanted to buy her food somewhere closer to us (we live in Rio Rancho, so it's a 45 minute drive for us). But then Simply Diego's stole my heart... The staff at this store are AMAZING! They are kind, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They always go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need and want. Nya loves going there, because she gets all the love - it's Disneyland for her! And I love having conversations with them. The staff are the best part of visiting. They also carry the best products. Everything they sell is very high quality without being too EXPENSIVE. Nya's favorite toys are the toys we have bought here. But I think my favorite thing about them is their generosity with their customers and the community. They alway make a concerted effort to give their customers little extras to spoil the fur babies. And they are on track to donate around $40,000 to community organizations this year! Thank you Roberto and staff (I need all of your names!! ) for always treating Nya like royalty, and for being a great place to visit. I would gladly drive all the way to the moon for you. I've always heard wonderful things about this place and I am so glad that I finally made my way over! In April I adopted a rescue dog from the city and although she was so malnourished when we got her --she has proven to a be a little picky! Haha. Out of desperation I got her on some decent dog food but was really hoping to move her onto something more nutritious. Long story short, I've gotten to know Ty and Amabel from having to keep returning bags of dog food that she just wouldn't eat. They were always so encouraging and supportive! They also were able to compare ingredients from her old food and gave me some professional recommendations AND WE FINALLY FOUND A NEW BRAND SHE LOVES! If I had not gone in so head-strong the first few times thinking I knew exactly what she'd want I probably would have found her new food quicker. They were always ready to offer me any advice since the moment I stepped through the door. They never pressured me and they always helped me feel empowered in my choices. They are truly gems of humans and I can't wait until she become more acclimated to stores so I can bring her in one day so she can meet the people who are really making her life so much better. :') Thanks, Simply Diego's! Do not let the small size of this pet store fool you, they have all the high quality and speciality products you could want for your dog. The biggest asset is the actually knowledgeable and always readily available staff. In that small store they probably have more people working than in an entire PetSmart! Multiple times the staff recommended a product that actually helped my senior dog who has a very sensitive stomach. I had long searched for something to replace the probiotics she used to take and were no longer working, and not until one staff member recommended a specific GI tract pumpkin powder did I find something that worked for my senior dog. They accept coupons for Earthborn dog food, and the rewards program is very good, meaning you buy a certain number of things, you get one free. For the above mentioned pumpkin powder and also my dog's joint pills, it's like getting a 20% discount every time because the rewards program offers a free one so often. This is not even mentioning all the good the store and staff do for the animal community, always raising money and donating thousands every month to local animals in need, and real world places too, that are local. Simply Diego's is one of the best businesses of any kind in all of Albuquerque.

I have been purchasing products and utilizing the DIY dog bath for years. After trying a few other DIY's, I will not go any where else. The owners and staff are always friendly and willing to help or suggest products that you may have questions about. The bathing stations are separated, each having a locked gate to keep your fur friend from escaping, well supplied with towels, shampoo and conditioner. The tubs are always clean and I really like the fact that they are adjustable to height taking away the strain of leaning over into the tub. I recommend Simply Diegos to others all the time.

We are on the road and desperately needed to bathe our Springer with her medicated shampoo. With advice from our camp host we booked a time online with Simply Diego for the same day! Super easy. Very nice wash booth with a lift for customer comfort, nice gentle water nozzle and adjustable hair dryer. What a super experience! And the shop is so very well stocked that we could not resist picking up a new collapsible dish, leash, and special dog treats. Very kind and knowledgeable staff! Check this store out if you have a pet! You will be glad you did!

First time going. Staff very pleasant and helpful with food selection as well as showing me the wash facilities before making my appointment. I took my dog to the self wash. I was a little apprehensive but after some hesitation on my pup's part got him in the tub with the aid of the hydraulic lift secured him and used the shampoos and conditioners provided. Good experience for my pup and me! You get a total of 45 minutes to get'er done. Wednesday is 10.00 day. I'll be back

i discovered Simply Diego's this morning after coming back from a 9 days camping road trip with my dogs and I was in need of a place to take them to get a bath! They answered right away with same day availability. I took one of my dogs down there and the place and service is great. I was also able to get some calming treats for the 4th of July fireworks as well as other treats for my girls. We will go there for now on for treats, amazing services and bath! thanks you.

Brought my girl in for a bath. It was our first try at a DIY bath, that wasn’t in my house. I loved the hydraulic tub and not having to get down on my knees. Made that so much nicer for me. Lucy did really well until the blow dryer. Then again she doesn’t like them when I’ve taken her to groomers. But towels did the trick and she was dry enough to go in the car. All in all, I’m really happy with the experience and we will definitely do it again!

Diego's is simply the best place to find extremely knowledgeable help when choosing the right food for your pet! My dog Emmie is a regular customer & knows exactly where her favorite treat is, and brings it to me! They answer all my questions, and do everything they can to help me feed my extremely picky girl. I recommend them to every dog owner I know. They have everything I need to give my Emmie a happy, healthy life!

I absolutely love simply Diego's. Probably the best pet store in Albuquerque. They have high quality food, self wash dog washing stations, great customer service, great customer loyalty programs, everyone is extremely friendly and always very knowledgeable about even the smallest details of their products. Their prices are reasonable, it's always a joy going there. I would give them more stars if I could.

I absolutely love Simply Diego's staff! My GSD is very reactive. I get so embarrassed taking her in, but she needs her baths, and the staff are so receptive and understanding of her needs. Scheduling a DIY bath is so easy, the rates are more than fair, and they include all you need to get your pup squeaky clean! The water temp is always perfect, and the tubs are so user and dog friendly!

Roberto, the dude who runs Simply Diego's, is a literal life saver. Him and I spent hours talking the first time I went in because my dog was super sick but the vet and i couldn't figure it out. With his guidance and expertise we got my dog back to 100% health. He treats his staff and customers so well, plus his moms so sweet which is just an added bonus.

Phenomenal customer service! I just adopted my best friend from the shelter. Took him there to give him a bath, next thing I know, they’re giving him all this treats for free! So glad that I found this great local business! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.....I was telling one of the great employees (may of been the owner?) about how I make all the food for our dogs and she gave me some great information on supplements to add to the food. Their prices are very fair and I would highly recommend!

Just got done giving my big dog Alley a DIY bath at Simply Diego. It was wonderful!! Different shampoos & conditioners, scrub brushes, towels, bath that goes up or down so no hunching over and a big blow dryer!!! $20.00 ( for a big dog cheaper if little) It was well worth the money. Helpful staff. Very unique pet store. They are selective on the toys, treats, and food that they sell here. All very natural and carefully sourced. The dog wash areas are good sized, semi-private, and allow you to raise your dog to a comfortable washing height. We haven't taken our girls yet, but we will definitely visit again!

Amazing! Finally a business run by people who truly care. The facility was clean and well stocked. Prices more than fair. Genny, the owner along with Miss Sydney and Miss Melody fawned over our dog. I could tell they are good people with loving spirits. They've earned our business for the life of our young puppy, Winston.

What a difference! Giving our dog a bath at home has been difficult for everyone, particularly Molly, our pittie rescue. No more! Molly still didn’t love her bath, but I sure did! No more aching back, yelling, yanking, and running after a wet dog who jumped out of the tub. We are sold on Simply Diego’s!

I called at the last minute to get one of my dogs in for a wash because she'd gotten poopy butt. They were able to fit me in for a 2:00 p.m. appointment and the wash facilities were clean. I really like this store and have previously bought dog food and treats there for my dogs.

Great selections of food for dogs and cats that are higher in nutrients. Very helpful and it was their anniversary so they threw in a few extra treats for my cats. Also, they sell plant based litter which is better for the environment inside your home. (No silica)
