Bin mit Skyward Express von Nairobi - Wilson nach Ukunda und zurück geflogen. Vom Check-in in Wilson bis zur Landung in Ukunda ein sehr angenehmes Gefühl. Freundliches Personal, angenehmer Flug, große Beinfreiheit und Ledersitze in der sauberen und gut gepflegten DHC8-300. Skyward Express wird auch beim nächsten Mal wieder meine erste Wahl für Inlandsflüge in Kenya sein. We flew with Skyward Express from Nairobi-Wilson to Ukunda Airstrip and back. From the check-in at Wilson till the landing at Ukunda a very comfortable trip. Friendly staff, convenient flight, big legroom, leather seats in the clean and good shapes DHC8-300. Skyward Express will also the next time be my first choice for domestic flights in Kenya.

In terms of customer care, Skywards Express used to be an excellent airline but things started changing right before COVID. I collected a few unfortunate experiences during the last few years. Generally speaking they bring you safely to your destination. Other airlines at Wilson have their own terminals but for Skywards the check-in and boarding happens in two different areas of the airport, so after check-in you are driven by bus to the general departures. For that reason, last-minute check-ins are not recommended, be sure to arrive there in advance. Their building has a cafe shop where you can get some chai and snacks in case you need to kill some time.

The biggest mistake I made during my vacation across Kenya was book a couple of flights with Skyward Express. Their flight from Nairobi to Malindi was delayed by over 6 hours which completely threw off my itinerary. The worst thing is they don't tell you about the delay and make you check in early holding you at the gate. The staff had no clue what was happening and all passengers were angry. What's worse was there was barely even an apology. My second Skyward flight from Malindi to Lamu was also slightly delayed. It felt to me like this airlines really struggles to operate it's flights on time. I'd avoid this airline for the next time.

The skyward team is terrible when it comes to changing flights First of all, the customer service “team” is pretentious in the sense that they want to make you believe you’re talking to multiple people when it’s clearly one person. Secondly, they tried to overcharge me for the flight change fee, they wanted me to pay an extra Ksh 7000/- claiming the last seat was more expensive for Ksh 12950/- when it clearly showed it was Ksh 1000/- extra (Ksh 8950/-) from the initial fee that I had paid so at most I’m certain I was to pay Ksh 2000/- (see attachment) Do better Yours truly A disappointed client

Excellent service from Skyward Express Airlines. Lovely cafe on the ground floor with delicious food (loved the pancakes and the chicken curry and the cheesy chips and the coffee and the dawa etc...). "The Grind Cafe" (where you grind comes to a halt!) has a really warm, unique ambiance (get a sneak peek into an airline hangar and the works)!!! Highly recommended this beautiful, homey space. Love spending time here. They even have a library of books you can sample and borrow from. See you there :-)!

The check in process in Nairobi was much better than expected, smooth and professional. The return from Ukunda- the check in process was less professional and organised. Would recommend highly if it wasn’t for covid protocols being taken less seriously; there were no checks to ensure people kept their masks on during the flight and there was no process in keeping people following social distancing protocols on disembarking, despite a one row at a time being announced.

We recently flew with Skyward express to Lamu - It was flight ow350. The check in process was very smooth - very welcoming checkin staff. However our flight had some uncomfortable moments; the flight was very loud, very bumpy, the pilot door was left open for a period of time, at some point the pilot sat in the passenger side and no alert was providing in times of turbulence or during landing in Lamu. It just felt very uncomfortable!

The lounge. Wow. Loved the lounge. Missed my flight, the staff at the desk were very helpful in getting me another flight. The staff are really professional, and go the extra mile. Never had a problem with their service. Everything communicated to on time. The coffee in the lounge is heavenly, or maybe i was about exhausted. All the dame my experience was good. Kudos Skyward Express!!

We flew from Nairobi to Lamu and back with Skyward Express in April 2019 and were very happy with the service. Skyward Express has a charming coffee shop & resto in their Nairobi office. In flight, they offer free juice, water, and cookies twice (once between Nairobi and Mombasa, and again between Mombasa and Lamu). The flight was comfortable. We will fly with them again.

Lodwar-Nairobi. Our team lost an asset worth US$2500 in Skyward's hands. Skyward convinced our passenger to leave her luggage that they it would follow and it was safe. The luggage was found by customs officer in Nairobi as abandoned. None of the staff at skyward took responsibility. Be careful with this company!

I fly skyward for most of my regional flights as I work and live in Kenya. Their flights are usually on time and the flights are priced competitively for the region. For those who live in Kenya, Skyward Express is a reliable way to ship parcels to various rural locations in the country sometimes on the same day.

Easy reach compared to JKIA. Basic air services. KQ is now offering just as competitive prices. Real difference is the location Skyward fly from. For local travel. I prefer Wilson for the ease of access. I am the kind that get to the airport in a mad rush! The nearer the better!

Went here to send a laptop. The place was not crowded. The process of sending package was pretty straightforward. The staff were kind and helpful. The cost of sending was affordable. There's wheelchair accessible entrance. Mask and temperature check is a must before admission.

The delays are exhausting. My husband takes a flight to Lamu from Nairobi almost once a month, and nowadays, more often than not, there is a delay. What is more frustrating is that they hardly inform you beforehand of the delay. Otherwise, their service is good.

Good local airline. Nice that they have their own lounge and cafe to relax in whilst you wait, instead of having to sit in the main cramped departure lounge too long. The staff are organised and have you on the bus to departures when needed.

Check in was ok though the area is so small so not all guests get to sit. You then take a bus to boarding area which is also small and was also so congested. Wilson airport should consider refurbishing and expanding some of these areas.

I send a parcel on Saturday and your team told me will be in Lodwar on Sunday at 10.30 am it is medication and it’s not received by the patient upto now . He is being told the earliest is Friday . What happens surely On 4th Saturday

I was pleasantly surprised on how smooth the check in process at Wilson Airport was. The icing on the cake was that we departed Nairobi on time and landed in Mombasa on time. Well done Skyward Express. Keep up the good work.

The staff have been professional and courteous. We have flown serveral times from Wilson to Diani and have had a good experience every time. They have a nice café at Wilson to get coffee and breakfast while you wait.

A nice flight to Lodwar. Friendly crew all the way. The return flight 0n 21st July was the most uncomfortable with a malfunctioning AC in the plane. If it was in a matatu, would have opened the windows.

Skyward building has many business and this includes skyward express, Jetlite, Renegade, Silverstone Air and Jetway airlines... With all this business in one building their parking space is small..

There is a pilot flying the lodwar route who really knows how to fly and land his plane. He defies the Turkana wind drag and delivers the smoothest flight and soft landing. See you again soon.

Except for a flight that was delayed for 3 hours, their services are good. Also, while waiting for the delayed flight they provided food and drinks, thus, they care about their clients.

Good reception. The only challenge is arrangement of checking in. Please allow passengers to check in online. I have not seen an option to do this.

They have a hustle free check in process. Their staff is professional. Also if you're hungry, they've got a cafeteria in the waiting area.
