Given this is one of my locals, I’m really disappointed to leave one star review and hope this review helps you to provide a better all around offering. I ordered food and one time around the chips were so undercooked they were also frozen. I asked for the dish to be cooked again, it came back and the Scampi was undercooked and cold. I’m so disappointed now and doubt I would come back here to eat. On top of this the place is quiet so I can’t even defend the chef and say they were inundated with orders. Regrettably if you are reading this I would suggest you find somewhere else to eat and drink I.e Wetherspoons on George Street or Milan Bar.

Our server Abi was so attentive and lovely. The food was awesome - vegan Mac & cheese was genuinely the best Mac & cheese I've had! Could eat that for days! Drinks were fun. All in all, great experience! (One thing I would say is ..sticky tables! But hopefully that's something they can see in this review & adjust! & Also maybe keep the kitchen open a bit longer, as we couldn't have desert.. and it was only 9ish?) Thanks!

Am almost empty bar except for a baby shower of about 15 ladies. We were told they couldn't accommodate a bottomless brunch as we had not booked and even though there was no-one there! Also we were told that we could not have one of the sharing platters as it would be too much work for the chef! We settled on another platter, and the mini shredded burgers were not filled at all! The rest of the food was disappointing. Overall, a slow service, staff looked miserable, but myself and my friend did not let that spoil the afternoon. We will not be back or recommend this bar to anyone else!

Came for Saturday lunch. Decor and atmosphere inside very nice amd welcoming. Drinks (2 for1) Came very quick after doing order via an app. Been waiting 45minutes for food (ordered 3 small plates,side and 1 main) which was bit longer then expected but in given time food did arrived. Food was lovely except calamari which been very hard and dry,more breadcrumb then actual calamari. Katsu carry is the one to 100% recomend. Small note on loo- very clean and also cool decor but on so many cabins I found paper in 1 or 2 only so could pay bit more attention to that

Just over a year ago I came here on a date. Must have been a good experience because just over a week ago we returned there for a celebratory wedding lunch after our wedding with 28 of our closest family and friends. We found staff friendly and helpful both times. Menus are clear, prices are good, decor is nice. Our wedding lunch service was a little slow because the chef who was going to be dealing with us was off sick, but I think they recovered really well and our drinks were certainly on time! We had a fantastic wedding day.

Popped in for a late lunch. Staff stood at the bar drinking coke and chatting to a friend. Menus were sticky. I ordered using the app and had to remind them that we had ordered a pot of tea, which came after a long wait without a lid to the teapot and not hot. Food came with the wrong side dish. And mayo is too salty! They are letting the chain down. Wetherspoons serves better food! And has better staff!

Had a lovely time at Slug & Lettuce this past weekend for their bottomless brunch . It was quiet with only a handful of other tables present but this wasn’t a bad thing . The service was lovely . Jay and Jess were particularly nice and accommodating . I would say the brunch is quite good value for money .

3rd time lucky trying to order food here. This time they had a very limited food offer considering they had none last 2 times. Food arrived with no cutlery as "it hadn't been washed". Air con was not working either. Drinking glasses were absolutely filthy. The place was empty, Food was hot when it arrived but tasted bland and also took over a hour to come. Once arrived the salad was wilted/ dry and chicken was burnt tuff and vile. Would not recommend this place at all.

I had a fantastic time at the restobar! The service was incredibly fast, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was just right for a great evening out. I'll definitely be returning for another enjoyable dining experience.

In general the service and atmosphere is good. I'd always opt for slug and lettuce than anywhere else for drinks. However gone are the days of perfectly cooked fish and chips. Fish was over-cooked. Rocket wasn't fresh. I'll still return for cocktails and g&t though. Almost forgot to take a pic . This is a positive review in that it is true.

It was my first time having a brunch at the slug and lettuce and I really enjoyed myself. The staff and atmosphere was amazing and the cocktails were spectacular. Chloe and Mouneer were very accommodating. Very lovely staff members who are good at thier jobs. I will be returning :)

Nice pub 5min walk from E.Croydon station, reasonable choice of drinks with a modern ‘Slug’ decor. Had some snacks; croquettes and pigs in blankets which were nice. Strange but needed to specifically request a glass with the bottle of cider I ordered.

Solidly average experience on a Saturday night. Kitchen was closing at 8p (maybe for a special event), multiple dishes were not on the app’s menu, and the food was extremely varied on quality. (Good jackfruit tacos, terrible side vegetable dish for example) Service was good/fine though - no complaints there!

Chloe is amazing, what can I say she catered to every food and drink need. Regardless if she was there or walking by she came with a smile on her face ready to help!! Thanks chloe made this experience amazing. I'll be back and hopefully it will be you!

Nice bar/pub. Food is great but not cheap. But then worth every penny. Great staff that are professional. Decor is modern. You can pop in for a beer or slide in for a cocktail. Dinner time it for some fodder, cozy up with your bow for some crazy food in the evening. Nice hidden place. Find it if you can.

I would like to thank Summer who attended to us today. She always checked in on us despite it being very busy, she was charismatic, recommended the best cocktails and food. She is an asset to the company and I Will be requesting for her next I come!

I've heard wonderful things about the staff at Slug & Lettuce in Croydon and decided to go. I got served by Jade and Katie, they're friendly, attentive, and always make sure their customers are having a good time. The drinks we had were really nicely made. Blue one is under sea and orange was ballini.

The food and drinks were lovely. Jay ensured that the bottomless drinks kept coming. The space is also really nicely decorated if you are looking for aesthetics.
