I've purchased many items from this location in the past, but I probably won't be returning after my experience today. After I completed a purchase for an item and signed the receipt, the worker who checked me out goes over to who I am assuming was a manager to ask him for a code or something (not sure why). He tells her that the price I already paid was wrong, and they were only doing that deal yesterday. He tells me the price was wrong, and they are going to take down all the incorrect pricing for those items. I had already paid and told him that. The item contractually is now mine as the purchase was completed. He said they would refund me and then put it back out for the right price. We argued for a bit and then said I could have the item as he wasn't going to deal with me. I understand pricing errors can occur and have had other pawnshops refuse to sell an item that is priced wrong, but I have NEVER had a pawn shop refuse to give me an item I already paid for. This should have been brought up prior to purchasing. My caution to others is you may pay for something, and they may refuse to hand over your item you now legally own due to an error on their part.

NEVER BUYING FROM THIS PAWN SHOP AGAIN. I went in earlier today to buy a Xbox One. The service was fast and the customer service was amazing but when I got home I found out the system I just purchased was broken. The system itself took 20-30 mins just to start up. It kept over heating and turning off. And when I finally got it to start up i attempted (on multiple controllers) to connect it to the system. The button to connect the system to the controllers was broken on the system….but it was at that moment I also realized the controller itself was broken and missing a back the back battery piece. The right target button was put on backwards… meaning the controller target button was broken before I even bought it. Then upon inspection I realized the system is rattling…. Something is broken inside of it…My fault for not checking this stuff before I left. But shame on the company for selling broken faulty equipment without even telling the customer it was broken in the first place. Had I known this information I WOULDVE NEVER BOUGHT THE SYSTEM.

Carlos and Cliff are excellent when it comes to cst service regarding TAKING your loan - but are horrible regarding securing your merchandise. I brought in my Audio Mixer and worked with them to bring the item out showcase that it works, including hooking the power supply up and then offered to put everything back into the box, which they then suggested, "No, we will handle everything." 6 months later I go to pick up my merchandise and the $80 power adapter is no where to be found, I try and honestly inquire is there a bin of adapaters/cords it could be in? They respond "Maybe, but we don't have the ability to bring those out to you." After all the extra money I paid in interest in good faith to this shop one would hope they would return the favor by attempting to locate my missing EXTREMELY specific power adaptor, that I can guarentee you is sitting around collecting dust in a bin somewhere. Don't trust these folks no matter how friendly and direct they might be, you are just another mark for them.

Stopped to purchase a few firearms. They have a good quantity of firearms. No customer service at all, one guy is standing at the jewelry counter marking down jewelry. Walk by him browsing the cases, and no acknowledgement at all! Go to the guns where another guy is staring at a computer, walk by him and the same outcome. I'm standing at the gun counter staring at them, trying to see if I could get any help. Neither one budges, I wanted to buy the hellion bullpup, HK pistol, and a couple revolvers. As I'm typing this review a couple and 2 other customers walk in and stand looking at them for help. They walk out as well, idk what happened to smartpawn but this one sucks!! Yes I have the money to buy the guns, not browsing. I worked as a manager for smartpawn years ago and they had values. Business Walking out the door constantly!

I called the store and spoke to one of the ladies. I was interested in one of the plasma cutter. Before I went I asked if I could try it before buying and the lady said, yes. Then, I went to pick it up and when I got there another lady took care of me. When she brought the machine I asked if I could try it. She said, yes go ahead. I thought she was joking then I asked her where was the outlet for that plug. Remember, this is a 220v machine. She points at the outlets by the counter. These outlets are 110v and then I asked for the compressor and she told me they didn’t have one. I was like, these people don’t know what they’re doing.... but I still bought the machine for $160. All it needed was some consumables.

I have been a customer for over 3 years now and that’s only thanks to Rob that has always been a help and has made a difference in my life as far as saving me when i’ve needed help and times her rough. He has the sweetest heart and always puts his customers first and understands the struggles we can face. He had even gone out of his way to reach out to me to help me and he is one of the ones that is there pretty much everyday. He is definitely management material. I can’t imagine how much better that place would be if he ran the place and was management!! Thank you Rob for all you do! Linda...

Great staff, fair prices, offer you a decent loan value on your goods. I've been a frequent pawner the last few years after losing my job and they've helped out during that bind. Unlike some pawn stores who will forfeit your property if you miss a interest payment. I've called in and asked for a few extra days and they've always accommodated me. It's an awful feeling having to pawn your possessions, even worse to lose them. I do business with them with confidence. And sadly, Cliff now recognizes me when I walk in. Lol.. I can't even begin to tell you what great people the guys and gals at National Pawn & Jewelry are. I had to pawn my bicycle to eat a few months ago and they have been wonderful in being flexible, but also being very considerate because they knew how passionate I was about my bike . They could've taken my bike and made a lot money on it but thankfully they didn't. Pawn shops are generally not good experiences, but these guys are great and I HIGHLY recommend them for good prices and moreso for their great customer service !

I’ve had to visit this place a few times seeking financial relief! Of course, I wasn’t at my best on those such occasions, am extremely grateful for the service I received. I was assisted by Lorena and can say with confidence she would greet everyone with a smile. It’s important, to me, that businesses that help us in these instances handle me with care-they did. This place I happened to find by luck. The employees are so friendly and helpful it's so nice. They are very patient, have a great attitude and seem to be happy to help and be there. From the receipt the employee that helped me was named Joe. He was so friendly and didnt mind answering my many questions. They have very nice items in the store. And sales!!! Amazing sales!!! I wish it was possible to give zero stars. I’ve used this pawn shop for some time. I put an item on layaway. Turns out I didn’t need the item. So even though it’s “written” somewhere I was never told of a 10% restock fee. I put 100$ down and they took 10% of the entire product so I get 33$ back. That’s robbery no matter how you look at it. I will do my best to throw shade on this store every chance I get and on every platform.

I purchased a laptop computer from here. I couldn't be happier with a deal that I got and the service I received. the laptop is an almost brand new condition and works flawlessly. Lorena was a sweetheart and was able to give me some good insight as to some guitars that they currently carry, which, I am also interested in. I look forward to seeing Lorena soon, and purchasing my next guitar from them.

I Didn’t get what I was owed for a pristine, and in tact Coach purse. I did not receive the ticket from the employee who was purposely trying to take advantage of my ignorance by distracting conversation. I was not impressed with the customer service or the end result. My experience overall was tedious and traumatic! I would not recommend anyone to this place.

The last few months have been hard on me financially. This was my first time here and I know where to go if I need some cash. Maddie was an absolute pleasure to work with. Honesty from the start about the cost and respectful. I bought an hp workstation and it came as described. Only reason I gave the store 4 stars is that it’s unrealistic to say there wasn’t anything that could’ve been improved but overall I was very satisfied with my purchase and I would buy and sell with them again in the future.

Best place to go if your trying to get actual help! I've been to a few pawn shops but once I found this one I've never been to any other one!
