I am a frequent traveler who likes to do my own thing -- my first trip abroad was moving to Kingston, Jamaica for the summer as a college student. I've backpacked through East Africa with friends, took my mom to Zanzibar on my own fly-by-night itinerary... I have always been wary of organized group trips and travel agents. I assumed that things would be overpriced and too rigid for my travel style. I just returned from 10 days in Cairo, Aswan and Luxor Egypt with SB World Luxe Travel and I must say that I've been spoiled for every other trip! It was an experience that I am glad I entrusted to professional hands and I was not disappointed. Every accommodation -- from the Four Seasons Cairo to the legendary Old Cataract Aswan where Agatha Christie wrote Death on the Nile -- was unmatched luxury. Our Egyptologist and tour guide Ramez provided a deeply rich and fully customized, truly insider experience -- taking us to local restaurants and merchants and timing our visits for maximum comfort and immersion. No detail was left unnoticed, down to providing purses of money for tipping bathroom attendants and ensuring we had sweets in our Nile-view room on our early, late-night arrival. Debra even orchestrated my US-Cairo flights to accommodate layover visits with friends in London. I'll keep it real, if you are a budget traveler who prefers to plan your own trips based on bargains, SmartBird -- especially the Luxe-class trips -- is really not the agency for you. If you value comfort, consistency, convenience and are willing and able to spend what's required to achieve a truly luxury experience (but still at excellent value!) Debra is your person. SmartBird World Travel is an amazing company!! My family has worked with them on multiple vacations on both international and domestic trips including but not limited to Hawaii and Greece. On each trip, Debbie has communicated very effectively both before and during the trip, and she was available at all times for any questions or emergencies. Furthermore, Debbie communicates costs very well. One time, my sister had to rebook her flight because she wanted to leave at a later date than our family group, and it was communicated prior to this change that we would not be able to be refunded the funds that we had already paid because Debbie clearly communicated that it was nonrefundable. We are very grateful that she was able to make the changes and we are happy that she communicated this when we initially booked the trip. We enjoyed the best of the best on our trip including but not limited to sunset boat tours, amazing tours of Greece and its historical places, beautiful accommodations and views all for a great price! We love Smartbyrd travel because you are guaranteed to have a 5 star experience with affordable prices. I could not recommend a better travel agency!!! My family and I always enjoy our best vacations when we book with them!

I have enjoyed many sensational adventures around the world that were curated by SmartBird Travel. I was one of SmartBird’s Travels first customers over nine years ago and I have continued to stay in contact with the agency and look forward to exciting travel adventures. Earlier this year I was scheduled to go to Thailand and later to Bali on one of Debbie’s hosted trips for which I paid a nonrefundable deposit. Unfortunately, I was not able to make the trip and Debbie showed such flexibility, although she was not required, in that, she allowed me to transfer my deposit towards a future trip and I appreciate this level of customer service. I plan to travel with SmartBird Travel agency in the future when my schedule allows me to do so. I have visited her office on several occasions and Debbie and her staff are always diligent and professional and I will always look to her agency for all of my travel interests.

Debbie of SmartBird World Travel does an amazing job scheduling all of my trips. She give us amazing hotel options right by the beach and on the strip next to amazing restaurants. Everything in walking distance from the hotels and everything always goes smoothly thanks to Debbie. I tell her where I want to go what hotel accommodations I like…she puts in the work…we get on the plane and arrive at our destination and it’s heaven. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Debbie H. Brown in helping me and my family with our travel plans. Debbie is always polite and kind responding to all my continuous questions and concerns when it pertains to our family vacation plans. I would highly recommend her for all your travel needs too.

I wish I could give a negative 10! I’m the leader of the Ghana group you’re speaking of. I requested AIR and HOTEL ONLY! Why did we get charged $3,000 pp for hotel only? We’re sharing rooms, so it’s over 6k to stay at a Best Western?? When we called the hotel, they quoted us $1,800 for DOUBLE OCCUPANCY! The hotel also said payment has not been made. So why did we not get a refund? We’ve asked for MONTHS for you to explain this difference in quotes. I had 13 people in my group pay you at lease $500 EACH. And we get NOTHING back! Not to mention communication has been horrible hence why we had to come to social media… now your responding. Can you give us our deposit back? Can you give us an explanation of the room price difference?

I have used Debbie and team for 7 years or more, we have been from Canada multiple times to a soccer game in London, she got the tickets,box seats and we were treated like royalty when we arrived. When I’ve had an issue checking in anywhere I’d call her in the middle of the nite and she has answered, called the hotel and took care of the issue, in fact she talks to me on most bookings late at nite when I am available. We are about to leave for Vienna on July 26 and she has handled all the details,including rebooking when better airfare popped up….I was given her name years ago,glad I called then.
