Smith's ballpark has had a number of names over the years including Franklin Covey, Franklin Quest, and Spring Mobile Ballpark. What hasn't changed is the gorgeous backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, which in my opinion, is one of the best in baseball (major or minor league.) Most locals know this, but the Bee's are owned by the Miller family (owners of the Jazz.) You can tell that they really do their best to make this a park that is clean, and family friendly with a ton of entertainment options. There is a large selection of food & drink options, and plenty for the kids to do. There's even an interactive mini "ballpark" and playground for the kids in the right outfield grandstands. Overall, this is a fantastic place for a family night with the kids or for date night. If you can, go on a fireworks night, as the fireworks shows are worth the price of admission alone.

The night as a whole was stellar. It was my 4 year old daughter's first baseball game. She had a blast. We went on fireworks night when they allowed us to sit in the outfield to watch the fireworks. That was fun for both of us. The stadium itself was clean and the view of the mountains were amazing. The sound/speakers the leave allot to be desired. We were sitting 10 rows up right at first base and we could barely hear anything. When we COULD hear something, we couldn't understand what was being said. They have the standard baseball game fare for food. I understand that this is just a AAA team, but perhaps have at least one restaurant/stand there that has more options for those of us who don't mind paying a bit more? All in all it was a great experience.

What a great experience of professional baseball. Our may seem that we're lacking big city sports, but the Bees - although AAA - sure make the ambiance of a MLB stadium. We've been before, but our most recent visit involved military appreciation night with free tickets, food, and on-the-field opportunity for the kids. What a delight! Love that there's a nearby Trax station and parking just across the street rather than multiple blocks away and still a rip off. Everything about this park is fantastic, except the food lines. Due to the quaint atmosphere, there's really only one spot for any particular item of food and the lines are not worth waiting in... Need to have one of each type on each side of the stadium.

I had a blast, haven't been to a live ball game before. It was busy but not to packed as it was field trip day. Bees knocked it out of the park a couple times winning 8-0 by the eight inning. If you want semi decent or decent parking Be prepared to come early and pay $10-20 or park and walk. Game days means mass traffic, congestion and back ups in the area. I found that the neighboring neighborhoods all have no parking or tenant parking only signage posted. I found that most small Souvenirs were reasonably priced at 5$ I'm not sure If this is standard or because it was fieldtrip day. Much of what I seen as far as food was priced at $5 also..

Smith's Ballpark in SLC is a fantastic venue for watching America's greatest pastime. I recently attended a game there to celebrate Sandlots' 30-year anniversary, and it was top-notch. The atmosphere was electric, and the event was well-organized. The firework show after the game was a delightful way to end the night. Smith's Ballpark offers great views, comfortable seating, and knowledgeable staff. The facilities are well-maintained, although the food options could be improved. Overall, it's an excellent venue for baseball enthusiasts to experience America's greatest pastime in SLC.

Truly one of the most scenic ball parks in America. I had seen it on TV many times but that was nothing compared to the view seeing it in person. Sitting there watching a baseball game and seeing the snow covered mountains so close you could almost touch them had me watching the scenery almost as much as the baseball game. The Salt Lake Bees do a great job putting on the games for both the minor league team and the Utah Utes. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. There is not a bad seat in the house.

Most of the staff here were friendly and helpful as we had a difficult time figuring out how to get to our suite. The food was recently priced, we didn't have to wait very long, and it came out hot and fresh. Fun interactive stats about the players, and sound effects and music. The suite was rather chilly and we weren't able to resolve that, but otherwise it was a great fun night out. The Bee mascot even came all the way upstairs to visit each suite and take pictures.

I questioned why Smith's-branded epi pens were being distributed upon entrance to the arena, and then when a black and yellow crop duster buzzed over the crowd and began spraying pollen all over us, I started to panic! Bees love pollen . We were being prepared as bait for a swarm of bees! Safety first, I suppose, but was the bee-themed survival experience really necessary? Weren't the majority of people there to enjoy America's favorite pastime? ⚾

One of the most beautiful views at a ballpark in America for a reason. This is a great place to take in a game and AAA is a much more intimate game of baseball. You'll be much closer to the action, and the quality of AAA play is great, not quite the majors, but it is very good. What's more, b/c of the altitude in Salt Lake City you're likely to see a few balls fly over the fence for a HR, just don't expect a pitcher's duel!

Saw a game here in late Junewhile visiting the area and had a great time. Fantastic views from the upper deck and still able to see everything going on with the game. Got seats on the upper deck 1st base side and paid a reasonable price. Food and drinks and average for any minor league ballpark. However, they do run specials where it becomes even more affordable on certain nights. I would certainly go back again.

Home of the Salt Lake Bee’s. The stadium is small but the games are never crowded. My main problem is that we walked all the way around the stadium in order to find the ONE drinking fountain they have (by the swig). So that was frustrating. It’s a fun environment and great for kids. I would suggest just paying to park close- as some of my friends parked in the Lowe’s parking lot and got towed ($385 a car)

  • Coco

Take me out to the ballgame!" This is the home of the Salt Lake Bees, a AAA team. The seats are all great. There is plenty of "all kinds of food" to buy. The bathrooms aren't fancy, but they are big and roomy. There is lots of free street parking. Today, hotdogs were half price! Drinks = half-price!! Look on the website to see what the special offers are for any particular night.

  • Wade Brinton

Sad to see the stadium to be moved to Herriman. I must get my review in before this place is gone! I love watching baseball games here. Great memories with dad, uncles, teams, and corporate events. The team might not be the best, but you always root for the home team, and get a fully loaded hot dog. I am glad to see they have train rides and a playground for the kids.

I strongly suggest you don't come here. For my first baseball game I came here with my family. We brought umbrellas and they told us that they are not allowed. This lead to my family roasting in the sun and they do not allow lawn chairs. My wife got severely sun burned and we suffered from heat exhaustion. I will never come back again.

  • Christopher Gorman

I had a blast my first time here. Took my family to our first Bee's game. We sat in the GA lawn seats. Great if you have kids so they can run around and have fun while you watch the game. Food and Drink prices are all reasonable. Went on "Thirsty Thursday" all beers are $3. Good deal. Do plan on going back to see another game.

  • Kaydee Driggs

Looking for a fun summer activity that will be a crowd pleaser for everyone? If so, don’t wait any longer grab some tickets and come out and support the Bee’s. I’ve been coming to these games for as long as I can remember and they never disappoint. The games are action packed with fans cheering and entertainment for everyone.

  • Billy Nieminen

Very fun experience! The salt lake bees did not disappoint, winning 11 - 1 against Reno. The staff were super friendly and the stadium was clean! You can park close for $10 or go down a few blocks and there is street parking. Thank you for a great experience, highly recommend checking out a game.

  • Frank Kershaw1

I came in to watch the visiting team play, I was worried visiting team gear, and I was treated wonderfully by the fans. The people in line the people that my seat treated me wonderfully. it's a beautiful park with beautiful people I recommend all out-of-towners should go see a game!

  • Mickey Deutsch

We had a nice time at a Bees game. You can get pretty good seats for around 20 bucks. You can pay more or less than that for other seats, of course. They do a nice job of trying to be family friendly here. To get shade for a night game, you will want to sit on the first base side.

  • Sandy Stanger

Spent my birthday night with the Bees. Had Perfect seats on the first base line. The stadium was clean, well staffed and the fans were great. It was my first time there and it won't be my last. I will bring a seat pad next time...Your bum gets tired after a few innings. …

  • T Mort

Beautiful ballpark, great selection of food and snacks at reasonable for a sporting event pricing. Staff was courteous and friendly. GA tickets are affordable and sitting on the grass beyond the outfield was a great experience. The altitude helps with the massive Homers too!

  • Sean Fagan

Great time here at the park! The Bees might not be very good, but the park is clean, friendly people everywhere, more food choices than I expected, and $3 draft beers! Which was great news after my son ran down the outfield too fast and spilled a man's beer everywhere.

  • Pete Wolfley

Smith’s Ballpark is a gem. Went for the first time and it is an idyllic way to spend a summer evening. The food selection is surprisingly large and pretty dang good. The grounds crews are landscape artists. The care and effort they put in makes all difference.

  • Jennifer Eatchel

We had such a fun night watching the Salt Lake Bees at Smith's Ballpark. The facilities were clean, the employees were kind and helpful, and the Bees won the game! I highly recommend renting a suite for a special occasion. Our family was very impressed!

  • Dawna Pistorius, Realtor

This is a great ball field! Very reasonable ticket prices, lots of food/drink choices, a train and playground for the kids and Bumble (the bee)! Family night boasts 4 tickets for $20 and half price hotdogs! Thirsty Thursday is half price beer and soda.

  • Jennifer Cozart

You need more parking info. It is indane getting down there just to find out you need cash. You can't tell me a park like this can't afford the hand-held card scanners. Also, your parking is dangerous and too tight. Would have been nice to know.

  • Daniel Rasmussen

What a fantastic ballpark for Salt Lake to have. Its not a big stadium but that's why I like it. Its more intimate and personal. The views are fantastic. I highly recommend seeing a Bees Game if you live in Salt Lake or you are visiting.

  • Sholeh Alodia Ensafian

Service dogs are welcome, complies with the ADA. Please don't brkng your Emotional support animals. There are also ramps for the people with disabilities. Don't bring outside food or drinks, they check your bags before entering. If you

  • Gary Barker

The ballpark is the BEST! Seating is good but the views of the Wasatch Mountains are awesome ~ so sorry the city is closing it. I've played there for U of U baseball in the 60's & attended games for the past 52 years.

  • Whitney Brown

This is the ballpark with the BEST views I've ever been to. Easy to get to spot from downtown too thanks to the Lime scooters. Great game of baseball, nice to see a home win. Good selection of snacks and drinks too.

  • Julia M

Can't wait for them to move locations and stop bombarding the neighborhood with fireworks. There's vets with PTSD that live around here. Draper can have you. I'll take a nice public park instead. Can't wait.

  • Morpheus X

Smith’s ballpark is a great venue with plenty of food options inside. All staff that we interacted with was polite, and the scenic views of the Wasatch mountains in the background were breathtaking!

  • Janice Moir

Good experience for a home game, concessions weren't too pricey, only issue was traffic around parking, pre paid parking was impossible to get to, need more help directing traffic during games

  • Heather Pelroy

Great place to watch a game and have some fun with your family. We went to the 30th anniversary for Sandlot game and met the guys from the movie. Friendly staff and very clean ball park.

  • Keri Ritz

What a clean , beautiful place to spend the evening. Very well kept and maintained facility. Beautiful field, awesome food and beverage options, as well as a great store for merchandise.

  • T. Keefe

As SL visitors, we enjoyed the Bees home game. Prices for popcorn and sodas are typical. We took the train from our RV park near the power station, that was a breeze and fairly quick.

  • Cole C

Could not even find parking to go see the game. No traffic coordination which makes it extremely dangerous. Hopefully with the stadium moving you can plan for parking this time.

  • Gary Shunk

It was the 30th anniversary for the movie SANDLOT. Several of the cast members were there and shared feelings about the making of the movie and their love for salt lake City.

  • Kathy Huish

Even though it was cold last night I love every time I have a chance to watch the Bees play at Smith's Ballpark. It is one of my favorite places to go and things to do!

  • Cody Smith

Great venue. Came for $5 smiths family night and the seats are great! The staff handled the demand for the half price hot dogs way better than last year. Very impressed

  • Tom Wolf

This is by far one of my favorite minor league ballparks. Typical for minors, food and beers are reasonable. Easy to get to, easy to park and easy out at end of game.

  • Cooper Rabin

One of the best minor league stadiums in the world! The food was delicious, everyone there was so nice, and the environment was super welcoming! Thank you Bees!!!!

  • Bert Clapper

Fun night of baseball. easy in and out of the park and parking (don't be sheep. There are alternatives to following the crowd) Fireworks were nice after the game.

  • Melissa Wells

Love this place! I was there for opening day for the Bees. The food and beer was great and same with the atmosphere. Games at this ballpark are always a blast!!

  • Jeremy Gates

We had a good time at the Bees game, baseball is always a fun summer activity. The hotdogs were a little disappointing, but that pretzel and beer saved the day.

  • Carol Tran Slawson

It's a very nice park but I do wish that there was more shade in the lawn area. The food and beverage lines were also pretty crazy, even with the pre-order app.

  • Joshua Weightman

It's very nice for minor league play. Seats and cup holders were in great condition. Didn't visit concession stands. Entrance and parking were very convenient.

  • Hans Yates

Fun, simple- all-around good time! Every American should experience the fanfare and festival of sights and smells on the senses that a baseball game brings!

  • Tammie Stratton

Great time! Helps they won and it's 71° out but the ball field, although it's seen plenty of use, was clean and staff was friendly. Great family activity.

  • Tam N

Very scenic and family friendly stadium. Tickets were cheap but you should buy online to save queueing at the stadium. Food and drink were very expensive.

  • Will Mac

Loved going here. I had a great experience watching the Bees win. Every seat had a great view. Best part was half price dogs and drinks. Can't beat that.

  • Carolee Barrett

Great place to watch a ball game! Staff was so kind! Gave my grandson ball ball that was hit during practice. Great food options , Fun night for all.

  • Eric Hernandez

It’s So Much Fun Here! I went here for the OKC Vs Bees games twice and both times were the best! Come here to spend time with family and friends!

  • Kev Nowers

Fun, quaint minor league ballpark with a major league view. It's a great place to come for a family night, date night, or just to enjoy a game.

  • Steve Bouck

Nice place. Clean and well run. Easy access to get to and leave. The game wasn't so good, but who goes to a baseball game to watch the game?

  • Jonathan Su

I’m not a huge baseball fan, but I had a nice and relaxing time watching the game. You can get a good view from anywhere in the ballpark.

  • Mike McGuire

A typical Minor League Ballpark...lots of fans, good beer, and very good food choices. The Franx All Star Dog was amazing!

  • Christopher Atencio

Great family fun. One a hot day, stay away from the lower level. Seats were extremely hot and there was no shade.

  • Kelly Bartlett

The best view in baseball! Well run park from top to bottom that makes each day special for fans of all ages.

  • Jan-Michael Paul (JMP)

Excellent stadium but everything is very overpriced - beer, popcorn, etc costs twice as much as it should.

  • Dylan Y.

Always a good time here! Bees games are a blast for the family and the views of the mountains are awesome!

  • Rebecca eschler
