I am so disheartened by this "local business". It is very sad that one person/manager (Kym) can make a business with this much supposed character and reputation be so poorly represented. A friend of mine ordered an arrangement in May for my father's funeral. It was so lovely that two weeks later, I went in to order the SAME arrangement with a different color pallet of white, pink and green with no alstro/swap carnations for my Mom's Funeral. My friend and I both ordered and paid for the premium "Reflections" arrangement. The arrangements were each $208.17 with delivery. I was extremely disappointed when we arrived to the church and saw the arrangement for our Mom. The arrangement was half the size of the one my friend ordered for my Dad. The arrangement contained no carnations as requested and It had the Alstro flower that I asked not to be in the arrangement. That said my friend ran over to the shop in between the funeral and the celebration to get the carnations that were missing. They gave her 36 carnations in a tall vase and charged my friend an additional $135.02. We needed the carnations so she just paid and said I would be in to discuss the disappointment for the arrangement the following week. Today I went in to get everything straightened out. Although there was a Manager on duty, (Kym) She did not take the time to come and discuss any of this with me. Her employee Anna (who is very sweet) was doing her best trying to rectify something her manager didn't feel was important enough to even come and speak to me about. Instead she let Anna run back and forth 3 times, over the course of 20 minutes like a shady car salesman. I asked to be refunded for the 36 carnations ($135.03 ) and she gave me a $50 credit back to my card for the original order. At the end of the day, Soderberg's is responsible for several human errors (which happen because we are human) but now given the opportunity to make it right, Kym chose not to. Very sad for this business.

I wanted to support a new local florist and was extremely disappointed with Soderberg’s service, their “system” and ultimately their accountability. I placed a simple online bouquet order a week before Valentine’s Day for delivery to surprise my wife while working on the 14th and even spoke with the shop to confirm # of roses days before. After no flowers arrived on the 14th, perspiring with thoughts of a displeased wife, I had to call and track down the order. That evening I was told the “system” failed and was promised an enhanced bouquet and box of chocolates for my troubles and delivery was promised on the following day at no extra cost. Although disappointed as I had to explain to my wife expecting flowers, I was understanding as this holiday brings chaos to these small businesses. And once again, after no arrival on the 15th, I was forced to call again as if it were Groundhog’s Day, and leave a voicemail. Meanwhile at this point my wife was so frustrated she encouraged me to seek a refund and questioned my choice of flower shops. I sent a kind email asking for refund and perhaps a credit or coupon for my troubles, expressing my disappointment. Not only did Soderberg’s fail to provide any explanation, there was absolutely no returned correspondence of call or email. They silently refunded my flowers with no explanation, no regrets or apologies, and no additional courtesy coupon for my wife’s spoiled Valentines Day. So please, look toward a different small florist to support in the Minneapolis area that values their customers and owns their mistakes.

I ordered birthday flowers for my sister and they turned out beautiful! I have never had so much communication from a business during a remote ordering process. I received multiple order confirmations, requests to double check spelling and offers for corrections, and even a photo of the exact bouquet they had created for her before it went out for delivery, which I thought was a nice touch! I was very impressed with this, but all of this communication heightened my confusion later when my request for a specific delivery window was not honored, addressed, and appeared to not even have been attempted. I was sent verification that my bouquet was delivered less than 2 hours after it was ordered, more than 5 hours ahead of the requested delivery window. I understand I requested delivery at the end of their business day and not everyone can be accommodated, however, they were not even close to it. They called my sister who confirmed no one would be at the residence to receive the flowers at the time of delivery, and did not give a reason for why the delivery needed to be so early. As my sister lives approx 5 miles from the shop rather than across the whole city, I ultimately felt like my request was blatantly ignored. I understand the need to pay for delivery, but also feel that because it is a service I am paying for, care should be given to fulfilling that service.

A week + 1/2 b4 valentines day I got online to Soderberg's website to see if there was something special I could get my wife. I found exactly what I wanted. A large bunch of violet orchids with nice greenery set among them, but what really set this off were the 2 large green orchids with yellow + violet centers. I set delivery for the day b4 V day. When my wife opened the bag she was very happy but I was totally disappointed. 1/2 the violet orchids weren't open + the green orchids were no where to be seen. I called, talked to a manager. She agreed that I didn't get my moneys worth + told me she would send another but that it couldn't be done b4 Tuesday. I was ok with that. It came 1/2 hr b4 my wife got home from work. This time when she opened the bag she was ecstatic, I was totally blown away! Every violet orchid was open, the greenery was fresh + the green orchids made this a truly beautiful pleasure to look at. Soderberg's has earned my respect + also my future business. Kudos to the manager + to the person who so artistically made this arrangement . You have definitely made this a Valentines day to remember.

Highly disappointed and disgusted by their customer service. I placed an order online and called the next day to confirm the card was written as I requested since the online receipt I received was missing part of it. The person on the phone was abrasive, rude, and kept trying to rush me off the phone. I expressed that I was a first-time customer and just wanted to assure that everything was correct for an important day. They continued to be dismissive and told me I could get any corrections done the next day, which I would not have time for, hence calling beforehand to make sure everything was correct. I received my arrangement with the incorrect note written and my request for the flowers to be wrapped completely unacknowledged. Even if I had time for them to make the changes I needed, when I gave my name to pick up the arrangement, the two women behind the counter snickered and said, "That sounds familiar". Such inexcusable behavior, and I would never feel comfortable patroning this establishment again. People buy flowers for special moments in life. Don't let Soderbergs put a damper on that moment.

I ordered a heart shape wreath for my grandma’s funeral, asked for a 36”. When I was in the shop, the lady didn’t let me explain what I want and said that she understood me. I ordered 2 weeks ahead, I paid and was rushed out of the store. When the day of my funeral came, the delivery was late and the heart shape wreath was definitely not a 36”, but rather a 24”. I tried to call the store clerk to clarified what I had ordered. When I called they hung up on me 3 times and refuse to talk or address the issues with me. I thought ordering from a local MN florists would be the best option, but this is run like a corporate and they do not care about families. I will never recommend this place to anyone or any family or friends. They have horrible customer and don’t care about the people they are serving. I am very dissatisfied about how they handled the situation. Update: They still had not Refund the money Amanda and me had agreed on the phone, been at least three week now. Yea I don’t think I’m getting my money back, What kind of business is this.

I ordered flowers for a friend for a special day. I called the store to request the delivery after 3pm. They did not follow instructions and delivered at 930am interrupting a very important meeting and the flowers look so sad. I called their store to ask what happened. They said I didn't pay an extra $10 to guarantee afternoon delivery. I do not recall this offer and I would have paid. I had already paid $15 delivery fee. I was so upset. They kept saying "I'm not going to argue with you" and laughed. So disappointing. I have several plants from this local store. No more. Update review after staff response: Wow, they are still not open to apologize and accept the confusion. I don't know at what time they close, I just called and somebody answered. I asked if they delivered before 9am and once they said no, we discussed delivery after 3pm. I was very upset after waiting on hold for a while and staff responding combative that I was wrong and they were right. They charge $25 for a local delivery after 3pm.

I rarely leave reviews but I feel compelled to this time. The site is poorly managed and not ideal customer service. I searched a specific flower on the site using the search bar, found it, delivery date showed available for same day so I proceeded. The site added a delivery fee at checkout and the site allowed me to complete purchase. A couple hours later I get a call saying that a) they don’t have the flower, b) that I had purchased a bunch that’s only for events and meant to be a part of bulk orders c) that the window had closed for today’s deliveries so they could not deliver a different flower. The order was for Mother’s day so this ruined my day’s plans. On top of all this, all I heard was defense (e.g. the flower was CLEARLY for event bulk orders etc…). Then site should not have allowed me to check out or even show the flower as available. It was NOT clear. There was no apology or any sense of ownership of their part in the problem. Super disappointed and would not recommend.

I ordered online from a picture. Beautiful arrangement cost $190 so it should be beautiful. The arrangement that was sent out however, was not as beautiful. I did ask them to add Calla's to the arrangement which they did and I was out of touch so they couldn't contact me before delivery to see if it was okay, however, I just don't understand WHY they cannot do arrangements like the pictures. Why add 2 different colored roses when the arrangement only had one color? Why add Green leaves when the arrangement had Maroon ribbon? I couldn't tell what the vase was in the picture. Was supposed to be Maroon like the ribbon but, I don't know, maybe it was green like the leaves....... I understand that sometimes the colors or flowers need to be changed due to not having them in stock, etc... BUT, the two things I mentioned should not have been a problem. I just think for $190 you should get what you order.

I have been an avid supporter of Soderberg’s for a long time because their flowers and service never disappoint. But I wanted to share my experience from today and share the reason why I will continue to shop with Soderberg’s. I ordered flowers to be sent for a funeral service that was from 8am - 12pm. Unfortunately, the flowers didn’t make it in time for the service. But here’s why I love Soderberg’s. I called and they immediately apologized and rectified the error by offering to have the driver deliver the flowers to the family’s home at no extra charge/fee. I appreciate the sense of urgency and instant solution. Soderberg’s is also AMAZING about keeping you informed! They send you an email of what the flowers look like when they are done assembling and send you an email when it’s delivered! Thank you Soderberg’s for providing our community with beautiful full flowers and outstanding service!

On 9/3/27, we went to the store (we used to order flowers from this store pre-pandemic) placing an order for 2 arrangements in a smaller vases. The flowers were delivered today and we believe that we paid way too much for what were arranged for the order. We called the store right away and got a call back from the store manager. We explained our disappointment - there are similar size arrangements/bouquets on their website that are priced at half the price we paid for each of the arrangements we ordered. It seems that we were charged good money for the 2 small vases (that we will donate to the Salvation Army) that probably costs the store a few dollars. Nothing comes out of our conversation. Prospect.clients: do your research and comparisons, otherwise you may be disappointed like us for paying too much for a bouquet.

Kim is a tremendous help when it comes to customer service. She listens and really understands the customers need for prompt, professional service. She understands the flower business. In my experience, working directly with Kim at Soderberg’s Floral is by far better than placing and relying on a 1-800 or online order where so often things go wrong: order is not correct, order is late, or order does not get delivered at all. Trying to get any kind’ve help from their customer call centers is met with frustration and little to no help at all. You can be assured that Kim will listen and provide first class, personal service that your special occasion requires. She understands the time sensitive nature of such occasions and importance of follow through. The flowers are absolutely stunning.

We had a great experience with Soderberg's for our wedding flowers but unfortunately I'm not able to say the same about my recent orders. Online ordering on the website is very glitchy. I've called about this twice and it hasn't improved. Despite specifying online and over the phone what time I'd be picking up the order, it wasn't even started when I arrived today, and I arrived about 20 minutes after the time I'd requested. I wasn't able to wait to have it made, so I was offered something out of the case. While this was a nice gesture, the options were nowhere close to what I'd ordered. It's really frustrating to spend a long time with the problematic online ordering system, have to call for help, and then not even get the arrangement we'd requested in the end.

I ordered the Junk Food ‘n Treats Basket with the singing birthday bear for my daughter for her birthday. I was very disappointed when the bear was not included in the gift that was delivered. I emailed the company advising them of this and Kym responded promptly apologising for the mistake made by a new employee. She promised to have another gift basket made up according to my order and have it delivered the next day. This qualifies for a 5-star rating in my view. My daughter was ecstatic when she received the gift basket with the cutest singing and dancing birthday bear the next day. Thank you Soderberg’s for rectifying the mistake and making my daughter feel special. I will definitely make use of your services again.

My girlfriend loves cacti and with Google I found Soderberg’s as a company to fulfill a delivery of a cacti arrangement for her birthday. I spent the extra money for the deluxe arrangement to ensure it was as nice as possible. What arrived was severely disappointing. The product was as cheap as can be, the owner even said in email that it didn’t meet their standards. The arrangement arrived in a plastic pot with multi colored aquarium rocks and they even included a cheap grafted cactus that was guaranteed to die. The owner actually accused me for the grafted cactus dying. I spent well over $100 for something I could of put together for $20. I will not be using or recommending anyone use Soderberg’s for any reason.

Called from another flower shop in Arlington, TX about a week ago to send flowers to my family who had just brought my grandmother home for hospice care. I asked Amanda a couple questions to find out of they were the right place for me--I wanted something pretty, seasonal, and different. My family fell so in love with what Soderberg's sent, they went back a week later with pictures, to order a matching casket piece and easel for the funeral. Somehow, I was the one getting thanked for the beautiful flowers, but it was Soderberg's own work that sold itself over again. Thank you Amanda, for taking care of my family in the same way I would have, had I been able to. You've got many new lifetime customers!

I have ordered twice now from Soderberg's Floral. Both times I was able to deliver arrangements on the same day as I ordered them. The flowers were beautiful and fresh each time. The second time I ordered they sent me a photo of the bouquet and said if I'd like anything changed to contact them asap. I actually did want something changed, so I contacted them. I spoke with the nicest person who listened to my request and was so polite. I was nervous to call, because I didn't want them to feel bad about my request to change, but after speaking with them, the experience was so great and made me feel good. The bouquet arrived at my love one's home and was absolutely perfect! Would definitely recommend!!

Unfortunately had a really stressful experience one day before my wedding. I had two bridal flowers bouquet picked out a month before the wedding. The flowers bouquet were supposed to be different but coordinated together. Tim who was in charge of making it was supposed to send us a picture the day before to make sure we would approve. No pics were send. When we got there the bouquets were identical. Luckily a few workers helped out to change the bouquet a little bit so it wasn’t identical. Thank you for trying to fix it. Tim was very rude with me and my fiance at the day we were planning the bouquet. Paying almost 200 dollars I would have definitely pick out somewhere else if I knew the outcome.

We ordered a deluxe arrangement off your site (we knew what we wanted because we had ordered the same arrangement a couple of weeks before). You sent us a picture on Saturday of the finished piece. It was nowhere near what is was supposed to look like (cheap, small, terrible). We even sent you guys a pic of the one we received a couple of weeks ago, one that looked like the picture on your website. You redid the arrangement on Sunday and resent us a picture of the new one. Once again it looked nothing like what we ordered. You did not give us an opportution to response, so, I assume “we-get-what-we-get”. All I know is that I will never use you guys again. I feel you ripped us off!!

I have been using Soderberg's for around ten years now. Sadly, I've never been into their location, but always did my orders online. They have always been on time, communicative, patient with requests like dealing with office reception, or late afternoon home deliveries, or when I forget to order something until the last minute. Even better, their arrangements are gorgeous -- every single thing I order looks as good or better than it ever did on the site, with fresh flowers at their best, or just before their best so the arrangement gets even better over the next day or two. Again and again, they show me why I continue to order from them for special occasions. Absolutely wonderful.

I highly discourage any online ordering from this inexperienced company. I needed delivery to Arizona on May 8. After my mother calls saying nothing was delivered, I emailed twice and did not get a response until yesterday! They never processed the order because they suspected fraud due to my email address and Paypal user name. They never once gave me cause to think there was an issue. They lied about ever calling me. If I had known there was a problem, I still would have had time to order from somewhere else! I demanded them to refund my payment, and still nothing! Had to file a PayPal dispute. If they don't return my funds by today, I will be reporting them for fraud and theft!

The flowers I ordered looked exactly like the ones displayed on the website, which was truly impressive. Moreover, their communication was top-notch. They confirmed my order and even updated it with the hospital room number, which I had forgotten to provide initially. They went the extra mile by sending me a picture of the flowers before delivery, ensuring my satisfaction. They also promptly confirmed the delivery and ensured it was delivered on the same day. I called first thing in the morning in a panic trying to get flowers to a service happening a mere two hours later. Ava was extremely efficient and calm on the phone, assured me they could do it, and took care of business quickly. They didn’t even charge for the rush job. I've ordered several flower deliveries from Soderberg's. This past weekend, there was a mix-up with an order that I tried to cancel shortly after placing it since the recipient was going to be out of town. The manager I spoke to was very pleasant and issued a refund right away, despite the fact that the flowers had been delivered and I didn't have any proof that I had, indeed, called to cancel. Going above and beyond to make things right with your customers is why these guys have been in business for almost a century. I will definitely order from Soderberg's again--and you should, too!

I had a bad experience when I had called in regarding my delivery order I placed for my friends birthday. I have no ordered flowers prior so I am not knowledgeable in the process, however, I simply wanted to notify Soderberg’s that my friend may not be at home when they deliver and the lady who helped me over the phone was rude and laughed at me when trying to explain options in the case they were not home. I am hoping my friend enjoys her flowers but the customer service was not friendly and opening for people who have not ordered before and people who have language barriers.

We decided to order for the first time because we received an incredible and unique bouquet over the Christmas holiday, and the card was from Soderberg's. We were so impressed with the floral options and reasonable pricing when ordering. The day before delivery, we received an email with a link to a photo of the exact bouquet that would be delivered to our recipient. WOW - that was amazing. In addition, a last minute change of address came up and they handled it quickly and professionally. Thank you for the excellent experience - you have gained a new customer for sure!

This is the first time I have used Soderbergs to send flowers or gifts to family or friends. The website was a delight to use, very efficient with no surprises. My order was handled wonderfully and efficiently. I received a personal phone call to clear up a detail on delivery (my fault for not filling out the web order page correctly or completely). Then, to my surprise, via email, I received a photo of the arrangement I had ordered once they had finished making it. The arrangement exceeded my expectations. Soderberg's will be my go-to florist in the future.

This is the second time I have used Soderberg’s Floral & Gift in the past month. The first was for my cousin’s funeral and the flowers were gorgeous. Delivery was right on time and I loved that they send photos of the arrangement before delivery. Yesterday I had a Christmas arrangement sent to some very dear friends of ours and again the arrangement was absolutely gorgeous. My friends just loved them. I will certainly continue use them in the future for any for my floral needs. Thanks so much Soderberg’s, you do a fantastic job.

What a great experience. I am from out of town, ordering for my daughter who lives in town. A random internet search led me here. The selection and pricing was the best of all the florists I checked. Soderberg's sent me a confirmation email to make sure my message was correct, an email containing a photo of the arrangement, and a delivery confirmation. I ordered at 10am and they were delivered same day by by 1pm! Excellent. I will definitely use again. P.S. - my daughter confirms Soderberg's is the only florist she uses.

Soderbergs really went above and beyond my expectations. The flowers are so beautiful and really cheered up the person I was sending them to! The process was so easy! I called in and Anna helped walk me through the whole process of my order which was so wonderful. I was able to place the order at 5pm yesterday and they were delivered by 11am the next day. Being out of town, it’s hard knowing what floral companies to use but moving forward Soderbergs will be my go to! Thank you Soderberg for your awesome service!

Placing the order for a bouquet for a funeral was very ease. I went to their web site and found the arrangement I liked, Staff was very pleasant to work with, walked we thru the information they needed. Before delivery I was sent a photo of what I had ordered and it was perfect. Soderberg's kept we informed and emailed me a photo of the delivery location. My grandmother was in the hospital & it was later in the day but wanted to have a flower/plant arrangement & a gift delivered to her the same day. Found Soderberg Floral online. They did an amazing job. Not only in such a timely fast manner but the quality was amazing as well. The arrangement looked better than what I picked online! Their customer service is great! Loved how they sent me a picture of final product so I knew exactly what was being delivered. I would highly recommend Soderberg Floral & Gift!

Placed an online order for next day delivery using their website. Was pleased with variety of selections. Upon completion of order, couldn't have been happier with communication. Received invoice and delivery details, an email next day with a link to a pic of the actual arrangement to be delivered and notification when it was delivered. Execution was flawless. I've enjoyed finding several small gifts at in-store sales before but never had occasion to order flowers from them until today, when I needed a same-day delivery on short notice without a huge budget to work with. Ordered online and found lots of options in my price range; just got confirmation that the flowers were delivered within 4 hours of my placing the order, and the recipients were very happy with the quality. A rep from Soderberg's called shortly after to say they did not have the exact flowers in the photo of my order. They suggested options and even sent a picture of the alternative, which was even more beautiful than what I had ordered. The recipient was very pleased and so was I! thank you for the great service. Ordered a delivery from my daughter who is in Minneapolis for college. Picked Soderberg's because of it's proximity to the campus. Will pick them again in the future because of the great experience! The arrangement was perfect. Loved getting the photos of the delivery before it happened. I called last minute to get a gift and they closed 20 mins before I called. They had a sale on roses but it seems like they have a sale every Friday which is great. I was able to get flowers, balloons and a card in one place. Everything was ready which was very convenient for me since I was in a rush. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area! Samantha and the whole team at Soderberg's were amazing to work with from start to finish for our wedding! They helped me figure out what would look best and everything was delivered fresh and on time. They made bridal hoops for my bridesmaids which isn't something they normally do but they turned out amazing. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the flowers and over-the-top service by the staff. I highly recommend!

Great place to get flowers, when there to get last minute flowers for Mother's Day. Called first and was greeted so politely by employee. Great customer service in store, with huge arrangement of flowers to choose from. Packed the arrangement in a box and even suggested putting them in child's car seat id it was empty. Very nice florist and I have ordered many times with no issues. However, my recent order was not as pictured. What is pictured for "Country Basket Blooms" in the main photo is the "Premium" arrangement and not the "Standard". There is no wording or notation that the picture is not the "Standard" arrangement. There are several other photos below the main photo, but no wording or descriptions. Very misleading.

I ordered two arrangements for a birthday party. I asked for them to be low as that height fit the space better. Soderbergs tacked on a $25 fee for each arrangement because they weren’t their “standard size”. The vase was the basic cheap glass vase from China that cost them no more than the taller standard vase. WHAT A RIPP OFF! When I called to complain about the price I was given the message “Too bad.”

10 STARS!!!!! I've been sending flowers to my mother and relatives for years from overseas and this is the first time the bouquet DOES LOOK LIKE THE PHOTO! Absolutely gorgeous AND Soderberg's SENT ME A PHOTO of the bouquet and balloons before they were sent off for delivery. How awesome is that??? Really, really nice.
