A new take in the Napoleon with all the aesthetic in the pastry! The Napoleon is usually layer upon layer and this one is almost modernized with that open concept feel. The pastry is in a hard u shape and then lined with the creams and pastes. The shell was flaky and the creams and pastes were super smooth. The combined bite of both worked so well with the crispy of the shell melding with the creamy of the creams. They also have madeleines which are so soft! Nice firm outer exterior but the inside part of the cake was just making me wanna eat them all day! They don’t have a huge selection but enough to make anyone happy and with what they have, it’s just really good! It can be a little pricey, but totally worth the money imo. Something different and a new take on an old favourite. I know I loved napoleons before, but these I could totally love more! Service was great too! Super friendly staff and quick to help you out with your order. Great job overall! Follow me on IG @thirst_and_taste for better pics, vids and more amazing content!

Cute little pastry shop that offers Napoleons and Madeleines. They also have a selection of cold and hot drinks as well as hot pressed sandwiches. I grabbed the sesame and strawberry Napoleon as well as the golden matcha Madeleine for the pastry, and I grabbed a sesame latte and coconut flat white. They don't add sugar to anything which is nice as I enjoy things that are not too sweet. The Napoleon was nothing too special for the taste, I did enjoy that it was still flaky. I didn't taste much of either flavour which was a bit disappointing. I was looking at the pistachio one as well so maybe I'll try that next time. The Madeleine was surprising as I really tasted the matcha in it, enjoyed this one more than the other. The sesame latte was also just okay, couldn't taste the flavour as much as I expected but the coconut flat white was nice. It does get a bit sweet though, probably from the coconut milk. The service is okay, had to call for them but other than that, the staff was explaining each item well.

I had the pleasure of trying out Soul Made as part of the Sweet on Yelp event this past weekend. The shop is tucked away in the food court at the very back of the building conveniently located right next to Sheppard Subway Station. What I got: - Coconut Pineapple Napoleon Final Thoughts: I really enjoyed the Napoleon and think that the U shape design is really smart as it allows you to get the perfect bite in every bite and don't have to worry about the mess of multiple flakey layers as you do in a traditional Napoleon. The Napoleons are also kept chilled so I'd recommend eating it immediately if possible or refrigerating for a while before eating if you take it to go. The chilled creme made for a refreshing treat on a summer day For the price, I'm not sure if I'd get the Napoleon again but perhaps I'd return to try their madeleines that look like better value for the price and are beautifully decorated.

Coworker and I tried out the coconut espresso drink and the raspberry lime sparkling drink. They were so weird and not good at all. The coconut espresso drink had minimal coffee taste. And no coconut 'cream' at all. Looked like Brown water. So i thought maybe they forgot the cream. Tasted terrible. Almost like coconut water mixed with a little bit of coffee? Except there was a minimal hint of coffee taste. It was so bad i threw it out. Raspberry lime drink also looked like Brown water. When i tasted it,. I dont even know what to say. It was definately unexpected. Ot sjre what hapoened there. Didnt taste like raspberry or lime.not sure if they mixed up a 'coffee' drink? All in all, stay the hell away. Store 'looks pretty' but thats it

This spot is located in the food court and it’s easy to find. I had to wait a bit cause the staff was doing stuff in the back. I love how all the pastries are displayed! I picked the lychee oolong napoleon and was given a fork to eat with it. The shell is actually a little hard and flakey so the fork couldn’t cut through so I just used my hands to eat it. I was indecisive between the strawberry black sesame and the lychee oolong. The staff said lychee oolong is the most popular. The flavour over all is light and not too sweet. And the shell was buttery. I feel like this is a perfect snack to go with tea, this won’t fill you up and it made me want to try other stuff. Their other pastry looks good as well.

I am pretty indifferent about puff pastries, but after stumbling upon to this place, I realized I just never gone to one that is done well. Oh my, the puff here is the definition of perfect: crispy, crunchy, buttery and flavourful. I also appreciate how the pastries here are not overly sweet. From how the staff talks here, I can tell that they truly value customers' needs and maintaining top-notch quality and services. Looking forward to trying their other pastries they come up with and if you are a dog owner, get excited because puppaccinos + handmade dog treats are going to be sold here soon!!! I cannot wait to spoil my dogs so they can enjoy Soulmade as much as I do :) You have my full support!

Wonderful small little cafe at the Emerald Park Food Court. There are many different food options here, but this restaurant was different then the others and decided to try it. They just launched a number of hot pressed sandwiches and I ordered the Kimchi Tuna pocket sandwich. The flavouring of the sandwich was unique and true to the name of the sandwich. After eating it, I was yearning for more, and ordered a Classical Lemon madeleine. The madeleine fluffiness was soft and moist. Incredibly nice lemon flavour and not overly sweet. Can’t wait to return, and experience the rest of their menu, their Napoleon items are very popular, and will try again.

This place is fantastic! The customer service is top-notch, and it is clear that they are extremely passionate and knowledgeable about their drinks and desserts! They go above and beyond to make you feel special, and make sure to explain their creations in an accessible and fun way. They use quality coffee beans for their drinks. The coconut latte is unlike any drink I’ve ever had - the depth of flavour is such a wonderful pick-me-up to brighten your day. The orange brownie also had a very natural and beautiful floral-infused flavour. We’ll definitely be back!

We came right before closing and the owners were extremely patient and friendly. Ordered 3 Napoleons and was given a 4th on the house because the owners advised it is best to have two pasteries in a box to keep them from flipping over so they stay nice and presentable. I really appreciate their passion, and apologies for having to make us a delicious coffee and an iced drink after closing. Great work on combining delicious flavors on such delicate and pretty pastry. Keep up the good work. We will be referring and visiting you soon!

The best TIRAMISU LATTE i have ever tried in Toronto Expectations were super low since there would be a lot of places that have tiramisu bubble tea or drinks drinks, but end up tasting like something that is NOT tiramisu. Don’t forget to let the frozen cream melt a bit before drinking the latte. Or you can also take a bite of it since its sooo creamy and kinda taste like ice cream Highly recommed! Super creamy, but still feels like drinking a tiramisu Check out my tiktok - SpiritedLaway for some video content

The stars are for their earl grey cream brûlée, smooth texture and crunchy top! Worth to try! The Napoleon pastries are less tasty as I expected. The cream isn’t sweet as mainstream dessert, so its sweetness is Asian-inspired. However, the texture of the cream isn’t smooth but chunky. The photo shows the vanilla lemon and peach oolong. Neither of them had the fruity flavours or what it was meant to taste. Not sure if the reason was that they weren’t made fresh or sitting in the fridge for too long.

This is a small patisserie shop located in a food court at Yonge and Sheppard subway entrance. They are serving napoleons and hot pressed sandwiches with a very cute design . Napoleons have various flavors, we picked oolong peach flavour, which has a very pure oolong tea fragrance. The sweetness is just right for me, it’s not overly sweet as other local pastries. There are free parking for 45 min underground offered by food basic which resides on the second floor, which is quite convenient.

Well…. another overpriced coffee flavor drink… thinking they are using the Dancing goat beans from De Mello, which is not bad to be honest .. but their special drink just like simply mix everything else together… not care about how it taste … with same price I could easily get a decent cup of coffee at a real specialty coffee place..

Hidden inside the food court under a condo building off Yonge and Sheppard this locally owned shop was a hit. We tried it out for the first time and took a walk to the park after, perfect Sunday. We ordered the kimichi and the spicy beef sandwich. It seemed small at first but it was packed with flavor! We will be visiting here again when we are in the area. The owner was very nice as well. All food was made to order

I’m giving this a 5 star because the service was really good and I enjoyed my drink a lot. Out of the three items I got, it was the rose and yuzu oatmilk latte that stole the show for me! The flavours are not as sweet and cater to those who want a treat but are cautious about their health, which I appreciated. I really wanted to try the sandwich too - but maybe another time when I’m in the area again:)

  • Michelle Lee

I was very excited to try their coconut latte and really wanted to like it but sadly it was very disappointing. The end taste is bitter in a very weird way, like the taste of espresso and (what I think is toasted coconut) didn’t pair well. I can see myself visiting the store and trying other drinks/desserts, but as for now, my rating for the drink is 2/5. The staff working was nice!

  • Alvin J

Just stumbled into this small cafe by accident, but I’m glad I did! All I got was the creme brûlée and it was great! The gentleman up at front is also very courteous and helpful. If you love crème brûlée like me, definitely worth a visit. They also use fresh blueberry for it which was a nice touch. I’ve been back twice and will be back again to try other things for sure.

Madeleines are recommended. The Napoleon is a bit dry and hard, but the flavour was alright. Coffee was okay, middle of the list compared to cafes near this intersection. Service was nice though the lineup was a bit disorganized.

I wanted to try the mochi pork floss sandwich but they ran out of mochi. I ended up getting the kimchi tuna one. The sandwich was freshly toasted and the sandwich itself was sealed well so the fillings didn’t fall out. The lemon madeleine was lightly sweetened and just right. I forgot to take a photo of the sandwich but here’s the madeleine.

Careful when you order anything that you are attentive and double check the your receipt as I have been charged the wrong, more expensive, item on MULTIPLE occasions. When confronted, they will refund the difference but does not offer any other remediation, nor apology.

My daughter’s friend rates them excellent pastries. All the pastries have Wow effect. All the favour combinations of the Napoleon are so nicely matched. My whole family enjoys them very much! The service is so passionate and helpful. The pastry crushes are so crispy! The pastry chef went to Italy! Wow! Wow! Wow!

Tried the cold orange toffee latte as part of the Uber bogo deal. Picked up the drinks. Coffee not bad - flavour is interesting enough but couldn’t really taste the double shot espresso. Their take-out cup/lid and tray are trash. Spilled out of the bag, all over the car and me. They need better lids.

  • Sherri Liska

The black sesame and strawberry napoleon was great. Lots of black sesame flavour. You can tell the people who work there are very proud of their creations; the tall man in particular is excited to talk about details like layers in the drink
