It was a nice way to end our visit to the Seattle Center. I took family visiting from out of town on a Wednesday in January, and the Center was not crowded. MoPop was closed, but we still found adventures to entertain us. The Space Needle is the focal point from every place at the Center and it feels like you can get an iconic photo wherever you stand. I found the website gave a lot of info, but didn't make it easy for me to understand I needed specific time to go up the Space Needle. I decided to purchase tickets in person, and when we arrived around 4 we were told that we couldn't go up until 5:15, but that we could get in line 30 minutes prior. Had I known, I would have gotten tickets earlier. The elevator operator is entertaining, and the long ride up was fun, though cramped. You are close to a lot of people. The view is spectacular, but we barely got a chance to see the Puget Sound before the sun went down. I do love seeing all the city lights. I miss the dining level. I wanted to treat family to dinner, but there is only a bar on the lower observation level (which if I was able, would love to spend an evening at) and we had minors. There was Space to walk around and it was fun to marvel at the gears that spin the glass observation room around. The food in the upper observation deck was a mix of pub grub and a coffee shop. But it was fun to have a sip of sparkling wine and toast the city at night.

It was an awesome experience since I was able to see the city view. The tickets were two options, there was a little front desk by the door before the entrance selling tickets. On the other hand, there were also multiple computers outside and selling tickets as well. You just select the time, the date, and where you want to visit. The line was pretty long, and they also limited people to go in. It's like a group of maybe 10 people. So, I have to be there early before the tickets are sold out for that day. Otherwise, come back with tomorrow tickets. You can park on the street if you want, or find near parking there. However, we gave our key to space needle people to take care of. We paid 36 for 2 hours plus tips, so 40 even. It was worth it.

A Seattle icon. ️ If you are in town, you must visit this beautiful tower! Definitely a very busy place. I would highly recommend getting tickets ahead of time, because even during the week there can be a wait! ️ When you arrive at the indoor viewing deck, you will notice you are rotating slowly. There is a very fancy bar & restaurant and it’s difficult to get reservations. Those hours are limited for dining. The outdoor viewing deck is all glassed in so you have a 360 view around the Needle! A little scary if you are afraid of heights A truly unique experience and fun for everyone They have a large gift shop on the ground floor with so many great gifts!

Nice place to visit. Preferable to buy the tickets online for a time slot you are wanting to visit. There isn’t a time limit once you are in but this staggers the line and makes it easier to get to the observation deck. The glass wall upgrade is nice and the glass floor is great too. Spend some time enjoying the great view of Seattle from here. The price is lower if you go to the morning session and the parking cost less too. Must buy tickets in advance to ensure you get in. The website states limited availability so that is recommended. We bought our tickets online and checked in using a smart phone. Makes things easier.

100% worth a visit on a sunny day in Seattle. The views of the downtown, coast, and Mount Rainier in the distance are all equally incredible. The benches both inside and outside give a great place to rest and soak up the views, although the outside ones face inwards so the best views are behind you in a normal seated position. The ticket machines didn't work and just took payment for us, so either book online or join the queue at the staffed kiosk. Also the queue to get in is fairly long, even close to opening.

This is probably the most famous attraction in Seattle. They have a large giftshop in the first floor, and you can enter it without using a ticket. If you want to go up, then you need a ticket or a city pass. When you arrive at the top, there's a 360 outdoor area where you can take photos. They also have a small Cafe on the inside, where you can buy drinks and some food. When you go down a floor, you can see a glass floor, and it moves slowly.

Awesome experience! Restrooms are located in gift shop and a level down the stairs when taking the elevator to the top. They are clean with several stalls and fully stocked. There was no line or wait when we went around 6:30 on Wednesday night. I absolutely loved the experience and I would recommend anyone visiting Seattle to visit the Space Needle. The view at night was gorgeous. Valet was $18 an hour. You can buy tickets in advance or wait until you arrive.

Definitely one of those iconic, must see Seattle landmarks. Been there a couple of times, rated it lower because compared to the last time it seemed a little more in disarray. The cameras to take photos were not working and the media display inside seemed to be buggy. Nevertheless a fun place to go with the fam. I would highly recommend both the day and night time views, quite different.

For me it was on the bucket list to see and do while visiting Washington. Expect long lines. The views from the top are amazing! Our group took the last ride to the top before it stopped for the evening , incredibly the most beautiful sunset. ❤️ out at the Puget Sound reminds me of mother. The sky scrapers look tiny from the top. Standing on a bottom less floor looking down 605’ was cool to experience. A must see if you’re in the area.

A really grand structure that seems way cooler up close! The view from the top is great, but I think the true novelty comes from just being inside The Space Needle, as it is such an iconic monument. At the time I went admission was about $40, which isn't terrible. Would recommend going inside at least once in your life if you have the chance.

An amazing observation! I recommend coming at dusk, the views are amazing and on a clear and beautiful day you can even see the mountain ranges surrounding Seattle. The even more wonderful part of the tower is the rotating glass floor which I think is a fascinating mechanical and architectural invention.

Listen, I know this feels like a tourist trap, but it was great. The views are spectacular. The moving glass floor was so unique. They have coffee and drinks available at the top if you're interested. The Gift shop was actually really nicely done. I'd definitely say this was worth the ticket price!

I gave it a qualified 3 stars because, although the scenery at top is spectacular, the line to get to the elevator took over an hour. I personally, after looking around for an hour, was pretty much done. Some in our group sat at the clear, moving floor area and enjoyed drinks. The views are truly spectacular and definitely worth it one time. I recommend it, but once is plenty.

Definitely a must visit! Go up whenever the weather is good and clear. Highly recommend plan going up before evening, this way you could get the views both in day and night. King County residents get discounted ticket with valid ID.

A must do tourist stop when in Seattle.. All towers are the same.. but not. Offering different settings, surroundings, and views. I'm personally a fan of the Needle. Fabulous views of the PNW and it's set in area with multiple options for exploring as a non local. Line to get up can be long at times, but still well worth at least 1 visit.

  • Urracadan Williamson

Lots to see and do in and around the space needle. Vendors, crafts, food, apparel etc. The needle itself is amazing. Clean, well organized and friendly staff. The wait wasn't terrible and the elevator up was exciting. The views from the top are incredible. Lots to see. If you order a glass of beer as I did prepare to pay $15.00

  • Dani Dela Cruz

One of my favorite spots in Seattle. To tour the upper deck can take up to an hour. You can stay up there as long as you want. Can see Seattle from all high angles. Good for family activity. Take lots of pictures and enjoy the view!

Very fun experience. I am obsessed with observatory places and this was one for the books. The view was beautiful. I also love the fact they have photographers going around offering photos that you will receive for free at the end of your experience. The revolving floor was very amazing to see, especially at night. More

It's absolutely stunning. We went at sunset which was gorgeous. I am very much afraid of heights but pushed myself. It is something everyone should try to do at least once. Again, parking was great and inexpensive.

Really cool experience. I was lucky the queue was fairly short for the ride up. Great views of Seattle from the top. Had to wait an hour for the tkt slot, but this gave me time to see the amazing blown glass exhibit.

While still in the midst of renovations, the line moved relatively well. The time at the top was enjoyable. The rotating glass floor was cool. The queues to return to the ground floor were a little confusing but relatively short once figured out. More

What a fun day! I don't like heights nor glass floors but I survived it all. Just do it, worth it. The best part was going down a floor and watching the scenery change as we moved. I wish I could have found an open seat. I'd have stayed for hours.

The space needle is great for the first time. However, going back after several years it was like eh. The views are spectacular and the gift shop is always great but it's one of those attractions where if you've seen it once it's good
