Over the weekend of 16 & 17 September 2023 I had my car washed at Sparkling Auto Care Centre in Arbour Crossing. The quality of the wash was not worth the R160 I paid. It was also frustrating not being able to have a normal discussion with staff, as I received sneering looks and silence when I pointed out areas that weren't cleaned properly. Upon my final inspection I realised the floor carpet behind the left driver seat was missing. I informed them of this and was hardly acknowledged, the only response I received was: "We didn't take it". I asked to speak to a Manager and was informed he (Gavin) is on leave and will return only the following Wednesday, I should phone him then. I left all my details and asked that the Manager phone me, this did not happen. As I type this, my carpet has not yet been replaced. Below is the trail of phone calls (all are from me to Gavin, not once did Gavin phone me with feedback): 1.) Wednesday 20 September early afternoon: I drove to them to speak to Gavin, he was not aware of the situation and said he will investigate by looking at camera footage and speaking to the staff. He advised that he will phone me by end of day. 2.) Thursday 28 September @08:39 - No answer @08:42 - No answer @15:10 - Got a hold of Gavin, he said he is waiting for feedback from Haval for a replacement of the carpet, he will phone me with feedback. No explanation or apology was given. He asked for my number again which I provided. 3.) Tuesday 03 October @12:27 - I phoned again and Gavin advised that Haval has the carpet, he will let me know when I can go through to fetch it. 4.) Monday 16 October @15:06 - Still nothing from Gavin. I phone and he was not available, another Manager spoke to me (Marietjie). She said she will follow up with Gavin and phone me back. 5.) Tuesday 17 October @08:02 - No call back from Marietjie which is why I had to phone again. Marietjie said she wanted to get all her facts before talking to Gavin, and she could not talk to him yesterday. Marietjie said she will call me back in an hours time. I will phone again at 09:05 if I do not get a call back.

Hi all,just want to commend Adrian and Rufas from the Arbor Crossing branch on a job well done. These two guys work well together and make a good team. The five stars actually goes to these two guys and not Sparkling. Two weeks ago I booked my car inn for a scratch and dent repair. Due to the panel shop being short staffed they had a new guy work on my car which was fine but his work was utter rubbish and after waiting three hours more to the promised time,the car came back with new scratches the guy insists it was there and there after touched it up with a stick. Sparkling should rather employ professional people like Adrian to work on our cars,the polish was finished so the new guy put water to make it more so that he could finish up the job which left the car patchy and left white scuffs on the paint work. However i spoke to manager Rufus and he had the car rebooked and promised me a professional finish. A guy by the name of Adrian worked on my car,the guy sprayed,cut,polished,washed and polished the car again,my oh my i tell you the car looks better now than the first day I drove it out the dealership. Moral of the story everyone makes mistakes human errors but it's how you fix the problem,I really appreciate everything Rufus and Adrian has done for me well done guys keep up the good work.

I wash my cars here religiously. All three of them. The chemicals you use make sure that the car is left in a pristine condition. Today though, seriously put a damper on my thoughts of your place. R14,00 (1x R5 coin, 4x R2 coins 1x R1 coin) was stolen from my vehicle, whilst I went for breakfast. Sadly some of the staff know me and they know when I can, which is mostly, I do tip. I've even left beers before for the staff members. It might not seem like a lot of money but its the principle. Someone from your establishment stole from my car. Thanks to the management for saying 'sorry, next time please don't leave valuables in the vehicle' Bottom line, someone stole from me and I would like to warn everyone else to be VERY watchful this carwash houses thief's!

I have gone to Sparkling a few times and always returned due to their excellent service. It seems however that you need to be standing over them watching that they clean properly because I left my car there and went to grab a bite to eat today and when I returned it was obvious that they left the car to drip dry by the water marks on my car as well as as the dirt still stuck to my side mirrors and the bottom of my front bumper. When I enquired as to what happened it is met with a pulled up face and arguments between the staff. Such a disappointment and I actually used to wait to weekends to take a drive down to Toti from Pinetown and have them wash my car. Never again.

Washed my car today. Gentleman working there tells the customer they have a chip on their car and they have a chip repair service. After my wash which was sub par I drive off to realise that my windshield has a crack that wasn’t there before. Furthermore there’s a smear mark on the inside which indicates somebody tried to wipe the crack. I know the crack was new because my car is a company car and gets inspected every morning and it’s less than a month new. I’m disappointed especially because I decided to keep it to myself when my spare change went missing from the armrest storage compartment.

Staff cleaning the cars rush and don't take the time to clean properly. When you show them what they missed they have a don't care attitude. As I type this they are placing wet rubber carpets in the car without drying them 1st. You would expect better quality of service for the price. Another walks by splashing dirty ground water back onto the car. No supervision here. Don't be fooled by the big building. Find a smaller car wash that offers quality.

I had my baby car seat cleaned by you of which you did, thank You for that but your service is what I was not satisfied with. I was told to leave my details including contact details then I would be called the following day when it’s done to pick it up. The following day passed without a phone call then when I called the lady that answered had no idea what I talking about. Imagine that for a paying customer.

R50 car wash at R100 price tag. They don't do anything special, they are slow, work done is average, and not professional in ensuring customer satisfaction. The floor supervisor couldn't be bothered if you complain about something, nor check that everything is done correctly when the complete. Went to another car wash, took same amount of time, but was cheaper and no issues to complain about.

I booked my vehicle in for a Sparkling wash, Polish and shine (R250). On completion my car was not wiped properly, boot lid was not wiped, my rims where still filthy and they used the buffing machine on my window rubbers which have now frade them slightly. Very disappointed. The floor manager was more interested in pushing out cars than inspecting if the cars where completed properly.

Very annoying I went there to ask them to clean my Ford Figo inside only as in deep washing after my feence company went there before me to clean the van and take out blood because in that van they said it will be R600 because the van has blood, 3 weeks after that , I'm taking my Figo they telling me it gonna be R800!!! That not a business that is a fight.

Thay spray paint off your bumper and then say that thay wont fix it because the car was in an accident, ive had my car for really long and hasnt been in one could be maybe stone chips that caused it but yet the guys should know that you dont clean a car with a presure washer and rather then spraying 1 cm of your bumper go further away more to 5 cm

I will NEVER in my life wash any of my cars here again and I was a regular customer!!!!! .... my sons expensive nano mask from take a lot of R230(only had it 2 weeks) was stolen out of the glove box... THERE IS A THIEF AMONG THOSE STAFF !!! AND ONLY HE OR SHE KNOWS WHO THEY ARE!!!! I HOPE he or she is caught in action one of these days....

The young lady who was outside directing the cars and marking sure they got correct wash service was very helpful and friendly. We had special instructions where we had to wash our own interior and they gave us all necessary equipment Their wash bay and the guys inside are quick and helpful. We will return their in the future

I’ve been to Sparkling Auto Care Amanzimtoti many times before and most of the time I would give a 2 star rating but I’ve given a Five star rating today because of the young guy, Martin, who signed the car in and ensured that the car was cleaned exactly the way I like it. All the staff there could learn from Martin.

Worst place ever. Rushed through. Sitting waiting and no one tells you the vehicle is done. They completely missed so many spots on the car. Absolutely pathetic. Will never go near them ever. And they charge you 150. It's absolutely pathetic. My nephew's wash the car better than them and don't miss huge mud spots

Took my car in for a scratch and dent job. A shoddy job was done. In stead of fixing the problem more damage was done. My car was flooded when it rained due to a gap that was left open in the panel. When reported the manager on site dismissed the complaint saying he wasnt at work when the job was done

I took my Ranger to Sparkling Auto for a full valet after a trip to Mozambique. The job done was exceptional, and the attention to detail was out of this world. Rufus and his team were an absolute pleasure to deal with! I'll definitely be returning after my next trip into the wilderness.

One of the more expensive car washes with the worse service. They just push volume and there us no care in the detail. When I got home only 3 tyres was done with silicone as one of many detail concerns. I will not ever visit them again. Will seek smaller car washes and support them.

Went for a full house wash. They washed only the left hand side of my car. Had to tell them to wash the right hand side. Standard has dropped, the wash isn’t clean and there were still specks of dirt all around the car, which I wiped off. For R150 it is not value for money at all.

White Afrikaans manager lady is arrogant & a racist. When I asked why they are more expensive than in rich areas, I was told that I can go to the black areas if I want a cheap car wash. I pay cheaper for a car wash in Hillcrest where I live. Ps I’m Afrikaans

Quick, convienant, easy access car wash. They can be quick however sometime they can maybe take a bit more time to make sure everything is clean for example in between the side mirrors they always seem to forget about this however everything else good

Consider me gone ever since the new ownership took over it's been terrible. My car seats were not vacuumed, my tires were not done at all, side mirrors dirty, carperts not vacuumed. I had to ask them to do it. I miss the old stuff. Terrible.

It took them two days to only just wipe the chairs instead of auto valet. I had a very bad experience with them, the person I was dealing with lied and tried to force me to pay for the service they didn't do.

Very expensive for a sub average car wash. They don't always dry the cars off well enough. My car has left there many times so dirty that I have to clean it myself again. Black rims don't get cleaned at all.

Yeah, no thanks. I've come here with two cars and both times I've had to show them the dirt after they were done. Can't really figure out how they do the barest (if that) minimum on a Utility.

Took my car for a wash. Wow, they did an amazing job. The staff is very friendly and professional. I dropped my car off and went shopping. This car wash is located in such a convenient spot.

Workers are very slow! Wasted most of my DAY just for a wash and clean. If I did it myself then I would've been done much faster. Manger is no where to be seen. No Manger is willing to help

Great service only found one particular spot under carriage not cleaned sufficient for testing ground. Otherwise not complaining will make a turn when I get time to redo the spot mentioned

Inside and out wash was quick but there was still noticeable dirt and impurities all throughout the exterior paint that would have a taken a little bit more time to clean.

Took my car for a car wash, car wasn't properly clean. Still full of dust and dirt. Seat belts wasn't put away properly. Half of the car was polished. Very dissatisfied!!

Whent in to repair 2 dents car not even cleaned properly full off white Marks think it is some rubbing compound boodlid greased marked. Very disappointed won't be back

Paid 7K to have my bumper resprayed due to scratches. They did a terrible job, paint work had orange peel on it and they used wood screws to put put the bumper back.

The best auto cleaning place! We have become regulars. The employees take pride in their work and it shows when you drive out in your spotlessly clean vehicle.*****

Good clean service. Has small panel shop for those small dings that need a touch up. I have used this service and am very satisfied with tge repair done.

Great valet service and turn around time. It can get busy but then I prefer to come early morning and go have breakfast/business meetings at Nino’s.

Good job at cleaning vehicles inside and out, can leave vehicle there and go do shopping or drink coffee at their coffee bar, they are a bit pricy

Some staff are more enthusiastic than others. Especially your lady staff! There was one lady that really stood out as un enthusiastic! Shame.

The actual car cleaning was excellent however there was some disorganization in the drying bays which caused delays / long turnaround times.

I took my car for polishing and swirl marks removal removal buts are still there with a lot of holograms,very poor service no experience.

The Team (Adrean & Alan) are a very professional team and do really fantastic work, I am 100% happy with the work they did.

Very poor service. Took 1h 30min to wash my car. And car wasn't even cleaned properly. Managers run around doing nothing.

They dropped the ball!!!! I had to be behind them all the time and they used dirty greasy cloths to clean my windscreen.
