The pricing on specific items used to be really good. I have to stress " U-S-E-D TO BE " really good. Gradually items that were kind of high but, relatively worth it have gone to, I am not paying $15 for 2 beers. I have become "FRUGAL" as one evening manager put it. In this era of "BIDENFLATION" I immediately told him I was taught that it was budgeting. When I go in now, I am more precise with what I purchase, if I purchase anything. I don't buy things "just to sample and try" any more. As prices continue to rocket up, I continue to buy less and shop around. If your wallets fat or you're a trust fund kid, you'll have no worries here. The emphasis is on the company making money, not on being a competitive market place.

Of course a great selection. Occasionally the cashiers love talking to each other while you wait for them to finish their conversation which seems backwards but what appears to be the manager (older gentleman slightly balding) doesnt seem to mind because he watches it happen. Also maybe i cant see it but there should be a coke (non refrigerated) 2 liter close to the front. Picking up Jack on the second aisle and then walking to the freezer section then back up front seems pointless. Even from a sales point of view you go back to the register through the wine aisle. Wiskey drinkers are not looking at the wine. Maybe the snacks are what they are trying to get us to pick up on the way there. Either way great selection.

I understand there are lines at liquor stores, but as I was walking up to the register, the security guard looked at me and said _” go to #8 , which I did, but he was talking to a guy who was In a line that started at the aisle to liqueur. I would not have gone to the register had I known there was a line of one guy ( not marked) The only person who knows there is a line is the security guard and regular customers. Simply… make an area that is distinguishable as a line like every other proper business that knows there will be lines. The line should not start at the entrance to an aisle where it can’t be seen as you are walking up toward the registers.

Specs is great, vast booze, wine, and beer selection. I mentioned that they should sell Stash bear from Austin Independant. The guy wrote down my number and ordered some, called when it came in. you don't see service like that often enough these days. I do like that the beers are sorted by region and the beer case is labeled by state/region on the outside. Makes it a lot easier if you are looking for a certain brand. Lots of registers for quick checkout, friendly staff, great selection, fair price. you can't really ask for more.

Am I really about to review a liquor store? Spec's has more than just booze, they have a huge selection of every type of booze. The booziest booze store I've ever seen. They also have a lot of really nice food that pairs well with your booze. Everything is reasonably priced, make sure you join their key card club thing so you can get even cheaper booze. Also if you aren't sure about the booze you're buying, you can ask any one working there for advice because they know the booze.

I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the cashier Alex. She was more concerned with texting then checking me out. To the point she was already back on her phone before I picked up the oversized 8 bottle box for 4 bottles. I just turned around to Ian who properly placed on bottle protectors and bag. The security guard and floor staff was really helpful with aiding in my selections. I will not return but will try total wines and more instead.

They have a huge variety of all kinds of alcohols - beers, wines, whiskies (from all over the world.), Vodkas, tequilas, - you name it. The employees are very helpful and some of them are very knowledgeable. My only critique is that the "last chance" products are not marked down or on sale - they are just there to make you believe they are on sale ( at least how I perceive it). There is a decent discount if you pay cash instead of credit card.

Spec's has everything you need to entertain for an evening. You can select your spirit of choice and all the mixers, get decorations,and appetizers. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and friendly. There is a wine expert in store to assist. There's usually a vendor in store on Saturday if you want to try something different. They also have a humidor with great prices on the cigars. The store is neat, clean and organized.

I did have good help looking for a bourbon. He seemed knowledgeable (albeit limited). I would have liked some more input that was more a little wider ranged. The one he recommended was not like the one I was looking for (that they were out of). Plus, I was a little disappointed that they didn't make it easier to find their Oktoberfest beers (being that is the season). I'll be back for the prices and hopefully better input.

I've ordered 2 kegs in the past with this spec's location and both taps I've also rented with them were broken. I should of checked them before leaving the store but its their job to check every tap before renting them out and after a customer brings them back. With all the staff they have just standing around they couldn't simply just check the taps. Never doing business with them.

Out of all the liquor stores I've been to this company really a great vibe and a huge selection! Above all they sometimes have live music!!!!! It is so cool being able to shop for new craft beers and sampling amazing new drinks while listening to a live musician. You have to check it out! Thank you specs for being above the bar and setting a new standard.

Great selection of specific hard to find items. After looking for a specific Jamaican rum at several other liquor stores, I found it at specs and a great price. Also love the discount by paying cash or using your debit card Went again today and as usual the stuff was very helpful and they carried all the products I needed and had them in stock.

We go here at least once a month. Has a great selection. Staff is always friendly and available, and they have never steered me wrong on recommendations! Glad we live so close. They have a nice little grocery area in the back as well with some unique fare; we can usually find something tasty to treat ourselves to for dinner while we are here.

Love everything except for one cashier who makes me feel like I’m ruining her day by being in the store. Idk her life story but her attitude towards me specifically seems vastly different than how I’ve seen her treat other customers. It kinda turns me off of the whole store which sucks because I’m literally there to give you guys my money.

WOW!! I have never been in a wine, beer & spirits superstore. This place is soo impressive with the massive amount of liquor sold here. They also have a large non-alcoholic section and every liquor accessory you could think of.The prices are unbelievably reasonable also. This is my new go to liquor store.

Probably the best selection of alcoholic products for many miles. I don't really like how random the craft beer selection can be, and they definitely dumbed down the selection in the cooler, recently. However, it's still the best in town. This is a huge store, and I've yet to find its rival.

Good beer selection. I only wish they kept more of the new release large format bottles in the cooler, I hate having to wait a couple of hours to chill and drink the new beer I found there. The staff is very friendly and will help you find something that you might like based on your tastes.

Really friendly staff. They went out of their way to try and help me find a certain wine for my wedding anniversary. Too bad they didn't have it. They did have some other wines which were in my price range. The one I bought was perfect in celebrating another year married to my lovely bride.

Walked directly to one of the specific items I was looking for. Was able to get questions answered regarding other items I have been looking for unsuccessfully. The distributor doesn't think the products are worth carrying. So much for Texas. They carry other items of the same brand.

I do like specs prices are good, customer service usually is Swift and friendly. Although there's this one young guy with a beard that doesn't seem like he really wants to be there or really wants his job. If you've been to the specs on eastchase you know who I'm talking about

Ordered from them my order was ready for pick up on time. No waiting got a message that the order was ready before time. Got a message from them saying order was complete and picked up. Great place to shop for your Liquor.

Very large store with a very broad selection of booze. The humidor or pretty decent too. They devote a good amount of shelf space to Bourbon, scotch, and other whiskeys, which I like. Overall a great liquor store.

Huge selection of wines and liquor, and while the beer selection isn't as good as you'd find in a Winsconsin Woodman's liquor store, it's pretty much the best around. Friendly and helpful staff.

2nd place to total wine. Simply because there are never enough check out lines open. Causing lines to be extreme. Besides that....you can find 90% of what's needed to make the perfect cocktail.

The best prices on spirits anywhere. Nice wine selection and interesting beer. Eastchase and Bryant-Irvin have the largest selections. If they don't have it they can usually order it for you.

I love this location. Of course they have great variety, and excellent service/management. And don't forget if your veteran to get in on that veteran discount that give you the case price!!!

Been shopping in Specs on Eastchase for at least 5 years, and it never fails someone always follows me around the store. I have never stole anything in my life. Today was the a last straw.

Of the 3 Spec's in the area, this is the one I'm not too fond of. It feels more like a warehouse than anything, and the selection isn't as good as the other two.
