From the exterior or the entry into the plaza, it seems like a warehouse. Although when you enter the temple itself it is quite elaborate except the stone flooring and huge idols of deity housed in even humongous stone tombs back in South India. (Well sorry I am not aware of the terms used for some of them in Tamil). Nevertheless the ambience is very divine and also the saints are very polite, helpful and courteous. Although if you are not a native tamilian or from that region, you would find a conservation with a few saints difficult. Well like me, I do understand and speak the coarse tamil language with friends and co-workers, but the saints speak the pure and ancient tamil (I think, but how would I know, just guessing!! ) which is difficult to comprehend when they are giving instructions about a certain ritual. Just FYI, I had visited this temple to perform a ritual (puja) for my new car. It was pretty simple, when a devotee or worker helped me out by guiding what to do. Overall I am happy I could take some time out visit the temple at that auspicious time when the sandhya (evening ritual) puja started. I feel blessed. Thank you God. Please do visit, even if you are from a different background, religion or nationality just for the experience. Cheers.

Found it quite peaceful on a Saturday -- not much of a crowd. The reasoning for low attendance on Saturdays is that people are busy with partying -- at least this is the hypothesis. It's a neat temple, but a few things can be improved. There's only one chair next to the shoe rack, and so any more than one older individual trying to sit down to take off or put on his/her shoes has to wait for the chair. This can easily be fixed by placing three more chairs. The place is well sign posted. Text is both in Tamil and English -- it is nice to see the temple not ignoring Tamil writing. I even saw a person updating the notice board with beautiful Tamil hand writing -- this is hard to find even in India! Parking can become a problem if there is overwhelming crowds. I try to avoid such days.

Best South Indian ( Tamil ) temple so far I found in Scarborough where all the temple members and the Pujaris are very attentive and value each and every person who comes to the temple. Everyday the aarthi for all the deities starts at 10 am and is very traditional and ritualistic and gave me goosebumps , Abhishekam for the main deity lord Ganesha starts at 8.30 ish am everyday On special days there are special poojas as well , they also offer vahana pooja ( for new vehicles ) This is my go to temple as it has Lord Ganesha , Navagraha, Lord Siva, Lord Murugan, Goddess Lakshmi, some other deities - this is my all in one go-temple now !!!! Must visit as the prices for archana are nominal and with every archana you are provided with plate filled with flowers , fruit and vibudi and kumkum to take home as tambulam and blessing !

I went to this Kovil today, and I was worshipping Lord Ganesha while an Iyer was performing the pooja. He approached the people, giving the deepam aaradhana for worship, but only to those who paid for the archanai. He blew the deepam eventhough I was trying to worship it. What's going on? Shouldn't devotees be able to worship the deepam? In Sri Lanka, all the Iyers would offer the deepam for worship, regardless of whether you paid for the archanai or not. In this Kovil, it seems like everything revolves around money. Who knows, in the future, they might start selling tickets just to enter the Kovil.

This is my all time go to temple in GTA from the day I am in Canada. But I did nt have good experience when it comes to vehicle puja. They do the respective puja inside temple but don’t do anything outside on vehicle but handover all the items to the vehicle owner to do the needful . What’s the point of doing puja there if pandit ji can not come outside for vehicle puja. If they have their own reasons then they shouldn’t confirm and do the vehicle pujas.

One of the oldest temples in the Scarborough/Markham area for Pillayar/Ganesha. Usually a very quiet location to come pray and relax. However, during festival times, parking is always an issue and the location is difficult leave from as you will need to go through the same path as the entrances for other stores within the same complex. The priests are friendly and there are continuous poojas and archanas occurring throughout the day.

When you call to ask something the person who answers the phone answers quickly and before you ask something else they rudely cut the call without even letting you speak. It happened 3 times! Every time I wanted to ask 2-3 questions they shut the phone on your face after answering one. Had to call them back 2-3 times to get all the answers and despite I tell them this is not nice they keep doing it.

Very nice temple. You get a good south Indian feel inside. The priests and temple are very nice, soft spoken and humble people. I go very often to this temple and most of my poojas are done there. New car, house, birthday, usual Archana etc. Just a piece of info: Only during some festive events/auspicious days pooja they make it very loud with lots of big speakers inside a closed area.

This is one of the oldest Hindu Temples in Toronto. They perform Pooja everyday. Highly recommend to visit this during their Sapparam and Chariot festival day. Very good vibrant and friendly Hindu priests. They follow proper hygiene protocols during COVID time. A must visit place if you are looking for a Hindu Temple.

The main temple is under construction - this temporary temple is a bit inside and google maps does not bring you to right place straight. Apart from that, rest all is great.
