Visited St Albans Highgate with my wife during the recent Heritage Weekend. I hadn't been in the church since I was a Music Student at Birmingham University. My wife's "wow" as she walked in made the volunteers laugh. We had a wonderful tour of this building, met the vicar and had tea and cakes in the church lounge. This is a most amazing building with really friendly people. A must visit!

Interesting place to visit as part of Birmingham Heritage Week. Friendly volunteers/ staff inside. Plenty of history going back to the late 19th century. Can be seen from Balsall Heath on the walk to Highgate. Then in walking distance of Digbeth. Also close to 35 and 50 bus routes.
