  • "This school is by far the worst school I have come across"

"Lovely school! Teachers are great, however, this school doesn't hire qualified teachers there is no lesson plans in place! I did my placement for one month for full-time school hours, headteacher agreed to sign the observations, they moved me around for their reason because they were shot staff when I asked teachers for sign off the witness statement headteacher instructions was not to sign they just used me for one month, they agreed to sign off the witness statement when she had Interviewed me, she said they are not ready to sign! I agreed to continue for placement to work one day a week so that I could go back to work, she did not agree to it, she said one day is not going to be enough for our organisation, how can someone work full time without getting paid I don't understand! On top of that receptionist told me they don't get paid on time and they cut her wages without notification! I would never send my child to this school! Where they hire unqualified teachers"

This school is by far the worst school I have come across. Reason being they do not follow their own procedures. Two governors were sent written complaints that went unacknowledged, completely ignored. They pick and choose when to follow their own disciplinary procedure. When bullying is reported it takes several weeks and constant enquiries from parents, before something is done about it. Also if your child has dietary requirements, they will not honour those requirements even when they are reported. If you report certain foods affect your child's behaviour they don't care, it's in their interests financially to make a case for your child having problems so they can claim money from the LA, who knows what the real plans are for this funding once it's received. Children are placed in isolation without learning material (and they do not need to inform you as parent they are doing this legally), instead of being in the classroom learning. Teachers have been known to ignore children complaining of bullying. Before you send your child here please read the statistical report on their own website it reports a high percentage of the school are 'disadvantaged' the school allow the application of free school meals without periodically investigating ie collecting evidence of financial circumstances. Without this information what other evidence do they have that such a high population is 'disadvantaged', the colour of the Childrens skin maybe?. Take it from an experienced parent there is a level of prejudicial profiling taking place within the school. Don't believe me read the report for yourself carefully there are tell tale signs. The SEN Coordinator who was employed there in 2014 will not hesitate to make a case that your child has severe disabilities such as 'dribbling profusely' when it is not the case. It does not end here the lengths they will go to are astonishing. They will invent events to make applications for money to the LA on your child's behalf and if you dont go along with everything they do, your child will experience a series of exclusions as a result, not to mention illegal. A senior member of staff sat in a meeting and said to my face we need to exaggerate on applications to ensure we get funding. A professional who was working at the school, was allowed to practice CBT which was used as a vehicle for negative comments to be written by this person on my sons work. I have written evidence and they have yet to prove this professional was qualified to give therapy over a year later since the information was requested. Worryingly I have since heard this person is going for the headteacher role. The result for your child cannot be positive as the learning experience within school is robbed from your child and the child leaves the school feeling victimised by adults as well as children (I do not blame the children look at the environment of the school). They do not take kindly to parents who challenge what is happening. I eventually pulled my child out. If you want to see school records, you can get some of it, after taking it to the ICO and they won't hesitate to lie to the ICO about their delay with responding to them also. Just in case I haven't put the level of moral principles of the school in perspective for you, this all happened to a 7-8 year old. Ask yourself what interest is there for a parent to make this kind of thing up? I just don't want anymore children suffering in a similar way from the incompetence we experienced. After reading this can you really take the risk with your child? I know I wouldn't.

Simply waste of time! Now I have to go and do my placement 50 hours all over again!
