(English below) La visita al cimitero è inclusa con quella al museo adiacente. La caratteristica disposizione "confusionale" delle lapidi contribuisce a rendere questo luogo particolarmente affascinante. È consigliato, durante il tour, comprare una guida per comprendere al meglio e addentrarsi nella cultura della comunità ebraica di Praga. La fila per entrare è sempre molto lunga è quindi consigliato presentarsi di mattina presto al fine di evitare le possibili ore d'attesa. Tappa necessaria se si visita la città. La mia ultima visita risale al 2019. The visit to the cemetery is included with the visit to the adjacent museum. The characteristic "confusional" arrangement of the tombstones contributes to making this place particularly fascinating. We visited the Jewish Cemetery independent of a guide as part of our self-guided tour of the Jewish Quarter in Prague. While we preferred the freedom of not having a guide, we were a little sad we didn't have one, as we wanted to learn more during our visit to the cemetery. The Cemetery is beautiful and moving, and a must-see site. However, there is no brochure or signs or anything to help give history of context as you are moving through. So either bring a guide or bring a guidebook, if that matters to you. That being said - a very worthy and beautiful place to visit. So quiet and serene (except the occasional less-than-respectful tour group). Note: entrance is included as part of the "Jewish Museum" ticket - you cannot pay to enter just this site. It is 500 czk for entrance to all the sites.

La parte più suggestiva del percorso. Dalla Sinagoga Pinkas si accede al cimitero, il più antico in Europa. E' una delle location più visitate della città, ed è sempre molto affollato. Ci sono quasi 12.000 lapidi (alcune trasferite da altri cimiteri), ma sotto di esse si pensa che ci siano forse 100.000 tombe. Sono state stratificate, causa mancanza di spazio.  Le tombe più importanti sono segnalate con delle placche, ma saltano comunque all'occhio data la caratterizzazione diversa dalle altre. Infatti la tomba è costituita da due tavolette di marmo unite da un "tetto". Sembra assurdo dirlo, ma credo sia la parte più bella ed emozionante dell'intera visita. Il percorso è guidato, non si cammina tra le tombe!

Toto pietní místo je velmi inspirující. Narozdíl od běžných hřbitovů jsou tyto bez různých náhrobků a soch, jak jsme zvyklí. Starší náhrobky jsou poznat od trochu novodobějších, které jsou světlejší. Když někdo navštíví něčí hrob, třeba příbuzných, dají tam vzkaz a připevní ho kamínkem. Nebo třeba dá kamínek, že hrob navštívil a že jsi vzpomněl. Mnoho z židovských příbuzných zemřelo v koncentračních táborech nebo při jiných pogromech, kterých bylo v této komunitě v historii mnoho. Cena pouze za návštěvu tohoto Starého židovského hřbitova je dost drahá. Mám ale židovské a Jeruzalémské přátele, takže nic platit nemusím. V mladším věku jsme běžnou cenu platili. Každopádně doporučuji návštěvu.

El antiguo cementerio judío de Praga podemos encontrarlo en el Barrio Judío, en la zona de las principales sinagogas y a un par de manzanas de la espectacular Sinagoga Española. Según leyes judías, las tumbas no pueden ser trasladadas. Ante la falta de espacio, optaron por echar encima más capas de tierra, lo que originó que las tumbas estén tan próximas las unas de las otras. Se cree que pueden haber enterrados más de 100.000 judíos. Hay que reseñar que mientras la República Checa tiene como moneda la Corona, el precio de la entrada, que cuesta unas 500 coronas checas (incluye el cementerio y varias sinagogas), no se puede pagar con tarjeta de crédito, hay que pagarlo en efectivo.

Il cimitero , nel quartiere ebraico di Josefov , è vicino alla sinagoga Pinkas ; la costruzione risale all'inizio del XV secolo e venne utilizzato sino al 1787 , poi , per mancanza di spazio , non fu più possibile seppellire le salme ;conserva circa 12.000 stele rinascimentali , gotiche e barocche , ammassate le une sulle altre ; sotto terra le tombe sono sovrapposte in più strati (in alcuni punti si arriva a dieci /dodici) ; ha un grande impatto emotivo ... Nel 1995 il vecchio cimitero ebraico è diventato un monumento culturale nazionale ; all'ingresso del cimitero vengono dati ai visitatori maschi i classici KIPPAH , cioè dei piccolo copricapi .

El antiguo cementerio judio está en el corazón del barrio judio de Praga (Josefov) entre las sinagogas de Klaus y la de pinkas y el hall ceremonial, la mayoría de las lápidas datan desde el siglo XIV y la última hasta el siglo XIX, ninguna de ellas corresponden al nazismo sino a las víctimas de las diferentes pestes del medioevo (oeste negra es una de ellas). Como dato curioso se indica que debido a las limitaciones de espacio que tenían, los judios se vieron obligados a enterrar por niveles, estando el nivel más con 12 tumbas y el más alto con 16, es decir una encima de la otra, para un total de más de 80 mil personas.

Antiguo cementerio judío, situado evidentemente en el barrio Judío de Praga. Bajo una misma Lápida hay enterrados hasta 7 cadáveres. Junto a la Sinagoga Vieja y Nueva, es otro de los lugares de referencia de la República Checa, habiendo sobrevivido a la Segunda Guerra Mundial de la destrucción por parte de los Nazis. En las sinagogas hay documentación y enseres del pueblo Judío desde la edad media hasta la actualidad, siendo también un memorial a los Judíos Checos asesinados durante la gran guerra. Sin lugar a duda, una visita recomendable.

Finalizando o tour das sinagogas, chegamos ao cemitério judaico que a primeira vista era bem pequeno e bagunçado. Mas visitando o local e lendo a respeito, vimos que o local é maior do que aparenta. A “bagunça” de lápides, incomum em cemitérios judaicos, foi ocasionada pela proibição de se enterrarem os judeus e outros locais. Naquele local estão enterramos mais de 100 mil pessoas, sendo que há lugares onde se tem até 12 “camadas” de pessoas enterradas por falta de espaço. O último a ser enterrado foi ainda no século 17.

Definitely without a doubt our favorite place in Prague, looks a bit unreal even , it is so creepy special and beautiful. When we were here there was little bit of fog just like in some kind of a horror movie. We could have spent here a lot of hours looking and photographing but we bought the combined ticket for all the Jewish places so we had to carry on. It is not allowed to walk near the graves and tombstones just along the path that goes around and a bit inside.

Beautiful yet sad Jewish cemetery near the old town. Has a hundreds of burial stones in the grounds and also 80,000 names of Jews killed during WWII. We did a self guided tour as unforntunately we were on a tight timeline due to leaving Prague the same day but we would recommend maybe a guided tour option at the cemetery to find out more of the history if possible.

I luoghi della Memoria e della Cultura devono essere una meta di ogni viaggio, lavoro o svago che sia. Molto suggestivo il cimitero anche sapendo la storia di come si é evoluto e sviluppato. Mostra itinerante tra vari luoghi del ghetto, ogni sinagoga spiega una parte di tutto l'apparato rituale della cultura ebraica. Mettiamo la politica da parte e impariamo ad apprezzare il valore culturale di ogni popolazione, religione e civiltà.

Legendärer jüdischer Friedhof. Die Grabsteine stehen schief, weil die Gräber traditionell nicht befristet sind, also Jahrhunderte alt. U.a. liegt hier der berühmte Rabbi Löw, Theologe, Mystiker, Philosoph und berühmt durch die Geschichte vom Golem, den er zum Leben erweckt, aber auch wieder zu Lehm verwandelt haben soll. Neben dem Friedhof: Synagogen, Museum und gute Lokake im ehem jüdischen Viertel.

El cementerio tiene de llamativo que es muy reducido y todas las lápidas están apiladas muy juntas y llenas de vegetación. Esto crea una atmósfera bastante sobrecogedora. La entrada me parece muy cara comparada con el cementerio judío de Worms, que es totalmente gratuito y es el más antiguo de Europa.

Well preserved cemetery with hundreds of tombstones surrounded by relatively modern buildings. You get to go around the Graves and if you familiar with the language you will be able to read some of the words written on the Graves. Although this is not the cheapest site seeing in Prague, this consider to be one of the "must see" when you visit Prague, and especially if you're in the Old Town.

You absolutely have to pass by the museum where the names of the 80 000 Jews killed during WWII in Czech Republic are written. This museum is very simple but gives you a slap in the face when you look at the names on the walls. The cemetery is very special because of the density of graves in a small place, but also because of the succession of the tombs which are placed everywhere.

No tengo palabras, ¡visita muy interesante!, aunque la audioguía va aparte de la entrada la recomiendo totalmente sobretodo si no profesas la religión judía y desconoces los simbolismos y la historia del pueblo judío. Hay varios tipos de entradas que incluyen diferentes visitas a sinagogas (Pinkas, Klausova, Vieja-Nueva, Española), museo y cementerio.

Le cimetière est vraiment très beau et calme, c'est un incontournable de Prague ! Par contre le billet est assez cher car il comprend obligatoirement l'entrée pour plusieurs autres synagogues sans grand intérêt. La seule qu'on voulait voir était la synagogue espagnole et elle était fermé lors de notre visite...

Splendido e pieno di storia. Consiglio di andare all'orario di apertura (9) per evitare file e confusione all'interno, il silenzio rende ancora più magico questo luogo. Il biglietto di ingresso comprende anche il tour delle sinagoghe. L'audioguida è ottima per il cimitero, meno per le sinagoghe.

Una delle tappe comprese nel giro di più luoghi interessanti della vecchia Praga ebraica da visitare con biglietto cumulativo. Terreno di sepoltura unico, da vedere. All'interno anche il commovente percorso fotografico dei viaggi senza ritorno e i muri con i nomi delle vittime della Shoah.

Realmente uma visita triste e emocionante, de causar arrepios. Dezenas (ou centenas) de milhares de judeus enterrado no mesmo espaço, com lápides coladas uma na outra... um silêncio. Todo o conjunto de visita vale uma reflexão profunda do que o homem é capaz. Descriminação NÃO!

Es una visita imprescindible en esta ciudad encantadora, multitud de tumbas a un lado y otro del recorrido por este cementerio, es conveniente ir acompañado de algun libro-guia para apreciar mas la visita, esta cerca de varias Sinagogas que tambien merece la pena visitar

L’area che suscita forse il maggior interesse nella visita al quartiere ebraico di Praga. Le 12.000 lapidi del vecchio cimitero rendono l’ambiente spettrale ma allo stesso tempo affascinante. Uno dei luoghi da visitare assolutamente durante il soggiorno a Praga.

A través de la sinagoga Pinkas se accede al cementerio judío que impacta por la cantidad de lápidas por metro cuadrado. Vale mucho la pena y creo que vale la pena comprar la entrada múltiple para ver todas las sinagogas del barrio judío y el cementerio

It is an incredible place where you can feel history. Historically, as the cemetery was in the ghetto it could not expand horizontally so it expanded in height with hundreds of ancient gravestones one next to another.

Molto interessante e ben tenuto. Gli uomini devono indossare il copricapo fornito da loro. All'interno non c'è un bagno, con il biglietto è possibile accedere al bagno nel museo che è nei dintorni, non è comodissimo.

Beautiful cemetery with old grave stones and surrounding buildings in a park setup. We had the pack that gives you access to it as well as several museum and synagogues of the Jewish quarter and we really enjoyed it!

Uno dei posti più suggestivi di Praga. Camminare nel giardino del cimitero fa riflettere molto. Osservare dei sassolini sopra le lapidi.... Segno di preghiera. Respirare nell' aria una atmosfera unica.

Quattro stelle solo perché se si conosce la storia di questo posto....non puoi che rattristarti. Basta pensare che sotto il primo strato di lapidi ve ne sono fino ad altre dieci . Comunque Da vedere .

Старое еврейское кладбище место вокруг которого много мифов и легенд, а по факту смотреть особо нечего. Интересно лишь в совокупности, как история европейских евреев и то, что с ними стало в 20 веке.

Make sure to carefully look at all the various tombstones. There are so many different interesting designs that span about 350 years. The whole place is filled with a very somber atmosphere.

Moc pěkné. Úžasná atmosféra. Kvanta cizinců a Češi skoro žádní...:-( Jen vstupné je poměrně drahé, ale pro studenty a na open card je velká sleva. Hroby významných osobností jsou označené.

Luogo fondamentale a livello storico. Visitarlo è d'obbligo vista la sua importanza. Inoltre, visitarlo trasmette delle sensazioni indescrivibili che portano a riflettere.

Definitely worth a visit while in Prague. While a bit overpriced, still a must-see at least once in your life. Lots of thought provoking history in this area.

Pěkný a silně působící židovský hřbitov. Člověk si uvědomí jak velká byla komunita Židů v dřívějších dobách.

Krásné místo s úžasnou atmosférou své doby. Je cílem hlavně zahraničních turistů, ale stojí za návštěvu!
