This cineplex may have just one hall, which might seem relatively smaller compared to some others, but don't let that deter you. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by a cool and inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an enjoyable movie-watching experience. One of the standout features of Star Cineplex, Bangabandhu Military Museum was the impeccable picture and sound quality. The clarity and sharpness of the visuals, combined with the immersive sound system, transported us right into the heart of the movie. বঙ্গবন্ধু সামরিক জাদুঘর বাংলাদেশের রাজধানী ঢাকা শহরের বিজয় সরণিতে অবস্থিত একটি জাদুঘর। জাদুঘরটি বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনী কর্তৃক নিয়ন্ত্রিত হয়। বাংলাদেশের সামরিক বাহিনীগুলোর ইতিহাস, ঐতিহ্য, সাফল্য সংক্রান্ত নিদর্শন ও বিভিন্ন অস্ত্র-শস্ত্রের সংগ্রহ নিয়ে জাদুঘরটি সজ্জিত।[১] ইতিহাস জাদুঘরের ভেতরে বঙ্গবন্ধুর ভাস্কর্য। ১৯৮৭ সালে প্রথম সামরিক জাদুঘরটি প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয় এবং ১৯৯৯ সালে জাদুঘরটি স্থায়ীভাবে বিজয় সরণিতে স্থানান্তর করা হয়।[২] ২০০৯ সালে জাদুঘরটি আধুনিকায়নের উদ্যোগ নেওয়া হয়। তৎকালীন সেনা প্রধানের নেতৃত্বে সব সামরিক বাহিনীর প্রতিনিধির সমন্বয়ে ২০১০ সালে একটি কমিটি গঠন করা হয়। ওই কমিটি জাদুঘরটিকে বিশ্বমানে উন্নীতকরণ ও বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুরের নামে করার সুপারিশ করে। এই লক্ষ্যে ২০১৬ সালে ২৭৬ কোটি টাকা ব্যয়ের একটি প্রকল্পও প্রস্তুত করা হয়।[৩] ২০২২ সালে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা বঙ্গবন্ধু সামরিক জাদুঘরের উদ্বোধন করেন।[৪] জাদুঘর ভবন বঙ্গবন্ধু সামরিক জাদুঘরটি বঙ্গবন্ধু নভো থিয়েটারের পশ্চিম পাশে ১০ একর জমি উপর নির্মিত। জাদুঘরটিতে তিন বাহিনীর জন্য নির্ধারিত গ্যালারিসহ ছয়টি পৃথক অংশ রয়েছে ও প্রতিটি বাহিনীর গ্যালারিতে একটি বঙ্গবন্ধু কর্নার রয়েছে। জাদুঘরের নিচতলায় বাংলাদেশ ইতিহাস গ্যালারি, ২য় তলায় বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনী গ্যালারি, ৩য় তলায় বাংলাদেশ বিমান বাহিনী গ্যালারি, ৪র্থ তলায় জাতিসংঘ শান্তিরক্ষা গ্যালারি এবং বেসমেন্টে বাংলাদেশ নৌবাহিনী গ্যালারি রয়েছে। ১৯৭১ সালে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় সেনাবাহিনীর কমান্ডারদের ব্যাজ, পোশাক, অস্ত্র, গোলাবারুদ, কামান, এন্টি এয়ারক্রাফ্ট গান এবং যোগাযোগের জন্য ব্যবহৃত বিভিন্ন যানবাহন জাদুঘরটিতে রক্ষিত রয়েছে। মুক্তিযুদ্ধের পর তৎকালীন পাকিস্তান সেনাবাহিনীর কাছ থেকে উদ্ধার হওয়া বিভিন্ন যানবাহন এবং অস্ত্রও এখানে সংরক্ষিত রয়েছে।[৫] এছাড়া এখানে শিল্প গ্যালারি, প্রদর্শনী গ্যালারি, উপহারের দোকান, মুক্তমঞ্চ, চলচ্চিত্র হল, বহুবিধ হল, সেমিনার হল, গ্রন্থাগার, আর্কাইভ, ভাস্কর্য, ম্যুরাল, ক্যাফেটারিয়া, আলোকোজ্জ্বল ঝর্ণা ইত্যাদি রয়েছে। এই জাদুঘর কমপ্লেক্সের পাশে "তোশাখানা জাদুঘর" নামে একটি পৃথক যাদুঘর রয়েছে। তোষাখানা জাদুঘরে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ব্যক্তিদের পাওয়া উপহার এবং পুরস্কারগুলি প্রদর্শন করা হয়।

This is a recently opened theatre of Star Cineplex at the renovated Military Museum of Bangladesh. Currently there is only one Hall room (Hall 1) for spectators. The in-hall air-conditioners and security system are handled by the Military authorities. So there may be little embarrassing situation for some visitors at the entry point. The Air-conditioner was in operation after 10 minutes of movie starting time and it was a hot day. This was quite unprofessional. We asked about it to the Cineplex personnel. They said, Military personnel control it! We bought our tickets online. But we didn’t need to show our sms at the ticket counter outside the Military Museum. The guy only asked the mobile number using which tickets were bought. Once it matched his database, he promptly printed and gave us the paper tickets. Check-in procedure was convenient for us. There is also food facilities adjacent to the theatre where you can buy popcorn, caramel popcorn, french fries, burgers, drinks and other fast food items. Price may seem a bit expensive, but consistent with other Cineplex theatres. The 3D spectacles given to us were of low quality. One more thing, carefully check the location of theatre screen while you choose your seats online. Since it’s a new set-up in town, we found kinda crowd-less theatre. Only one movie was exhibited for the whole day. No other movie option was there to choose from. The theatre at the SKS Tower, Mohakhali is far better than this one.

Watched The Guardians of the Galaxy 3 with my kid. It was the last show in Dhaka on 8 June 2023 so we were kinda forced to choose this cinema. When we went there for the 7:15pm show, the area took a deserted look. If it weren’t a military installation, it would be creepy. The food shop was open but didn’t offer many items. We took popcorn and potato strips like something which was really cool. Inside there were hardly 20 people, so the complaints people made about view obstruction because of front row person wasn’t felt. But we realised it will be a problem on a full-house day. The screen is smaller but was enough for my 13-year-old kid. He enjoyed both the movie and the potato strips a lot. I'd suggest that you choose the seats wisely if you purchase tickets online. Try to avoid front row seats which are very close. In my photos the left row seemed to me the best option.

Worst Cineplex experience ever Been to every other outlet and was satisfied with every service but this one is really really bad Surely not coming back to watch any movies at all in this outlet Upon arrival even 20 to 30 minutes before the show the guards behave disrespectfully whilst trying to enter the premises and there's no mention of entering the hall just 10 minutes before the show, plus the hall is ridiculously shaped and the screen is small Recommendations: don't come here at all Rather enjoy the Cineplex services of other outlets

There are only 1 hall. Smaller hall then other Star Cineplex Halls. placing is not much good. only hall and balcony. no ac in balcony. you have to wait to enter inside till movie start time. most importantly if you buy tickets from middle row seats, you can't see full display.wont get full view. fronter seat cover half inch display. if a tall guy seat on infront seat you will see his head shadow in the display. but hall is well decorated. just wow..

Should be a 0 star. Everything about this place is all over the place. Firstly the guard will stop you without even knowing whether u came for the museum or the movies. The cinema has only one room. Air conditioning is pretty bad. Washroom are not usable for ladies. And lastly as soon as the movie finishes u r literally kicked out for the area cos the museum has closed. I am more than happy with other branches of Cineplex, but this one just sucks.

Have faced First-Ever bad experience to watch a movie in Star Cineplex!!! Totally unexpected & disappointing, Indeed. Entry time, sound quality was bad, and the worse happened with AC, Museum authority stopped AC during the half time of the evening show and Cineplex authority has no control over the AC which causes suffocation and sweating. I'd recommend this for close funky friends but not for other gentle guy to go there to watch a movie.

Little space and the screen is small but the picture resulation good. Sound system is also good. Food items not so good. They need a big screen. They have good decorations but are not well maintained. The total atmosphere is good but the screen size is not satisfying. They do not provide good quality food and they have only 2 or 3 items. I suggest them to improve the food and screen size.

Few of us may not know that there is a Star Cineplex at Military Mesume There are 4 shows everyday. Start from 10:30 am or maybe 10:20 am, next show 1:35 pm, next show 4:30 pm & last show 7:20 pm. The price of the ticket is very reasonable & available both online & offline. A snack shop located beside the Cineplex & a beautiful restaurant...

I wish I could have given less than 1 star. The glasses aren't good. We are seeing double/triple in 3d movies. Some seats cover the lower screen and can't see. The gate's guards don't let anyone enter before 10 mins of the starting time. I have been to different halls of cineplex and so far this is the worst experience.

Star Cineplex এর সবগুলা ব্রাঞ্চ এর চেয়ে এই ব্রাঞ্চ এর হল, সিটিং, আর স্কিন একটু আলাদা আর ক্লিন। এখানের সাউন্ড কোয়ালিটি ভালো তবে হলের ভেতরে স্কিন পজিশনটা কমফোর্ট লাগেনি। সিকিউরিটি ও সেইফটি খুবি ভালো তবে, মুভি শুরু হবার অনেক আগে যাওয়াটাই বেটার। আশেপাশে ওয়াশরুম নেই। আর ফুড প্রাইসিং বাকি স্টারসিনেপ্লেক্স এর মতই।

There is only one hall. Hall is small. I watched 3D movie. 3D picture quality is good. 3D glass is light & good. Sound isn't upto the mark. Sounds quality must be improved. Washroom facilities at a distance. Seating arrangement is so so. After interval AC was off. Everyone was Totally wet with sweat.

They turned off ac after intermission. And didn't turn it on ever again! Seating arrangement could use a lot of improvements. The people from front row would cover some part of the screen, while being seated. Overall, it wasn't any good experience.

Newly opened branch of Star cineplex at Bangabandhu Military Museum. The entrance is through the left-most gate of the museum. You can buy the ticket from the entrance counter or online. There is a parking facility as well.

The hall is not too big. But the outside view from the hall is mind blowing.if you love to take photos this place is definitely for you.. Their service is good. Food is very expensive. Sound quality is not up to the mark.

Worst cineplex experience ever, they'll shut down the AC after intermission. Hall shape is weird, so you'll get to watch the movie from an angle if you're unlucky. Also the foods are pricey.

The difference in height between adjacent rows is too less. Your view may be obstructed by the head of the person in your front row. Screen could be bigger.
