Unfortunately did not have a good experience this time around, we’ve had our Subaru since April and bought at the narellan dealership, we’ve had nothing but fantastic experiences until today. Today I took the car in for a standard cap priced service (37500kms) and was informed a wheel but had been broken (the only times the wheels have come off were at a service at moss vale and the service at narellan today) to which I was charged $290 and told to take it up with moss vale as it was “probably them” when calling them they said the same thing, I was also informed that they are a consumable product and this does happen. At 37500kms? I don’t think so. Following up with Subaru head office and then depending how that goes the ACCC really unimpressed when it was very clear that they had just done it when it was hot as shown by the way the stud had sheared. As someone who puts the kms up really fast I’m hoping next service is a better experience. Amendment: Phil followed up with me and provided a credit for the ammount charged as neither dealership could prove who had done it, credit where credit is due Phil had fantastic customer service and I am hopeful for a better experience next time around

Having dropped the car off for a scheduled service, with several warning lights showing, investigation revealed a Glow Plug failure. Removal of the offending plug showed that half the Glow Plug had broken off and was stuck in the cylinder head. It took a number of days but they successfully removed the broken half with no further damage or needing to do any major disassembly. The Service Manager was happy to spend some time with us to discuss the work that was done and show us the difficulty involved and the tooling used to remove the broken part. He said it was a failure they had never seen before in a Subaru. As a fellow mechanic, he talked to me as an equal and talked us through their efforts to avoid the expensive option of removing the engine to access the repair task. They showed care for the potential costs to us and took care to avoid further damage, complications and expense. It took far longer to rectify than I expected but the methods used were far cheaper than the more involved engine removal. Car is as good as ever and the repair was cheaper than I had feared.

I took my Subaru Outback to Subaru Narellan for its first full service and I was impressed by the professionalism, conduct and assistance. Joe explained everything well and sorted the loaner car for me. The voucher for the car detailing was a nice touch. The loaner car was actually a 2023 model so I was impressed by that although Subaru could take a leaf out of Ford’s book and offer free loaners although $25 is a small price to pay for some convenience. I’ll admit that I was a tad disappointed that a software update was not done to the infotainment head unit during this service so maybe that’s learning for Subaru Narellan in future. I now have to drop in for the software update on a later date. Overall a very good experience

The location of the service centre is in the quiet part of the industrial area and is easy to access off the main roads. Additionally, the waiting area is great if you choose to remain on-site for your service with water, tea, and coffee available and a food truck that comes around. Staff are super friendly and helpful with all aspects of the service experience. Is my go-to service centre for my Subaru WRX.

Took my Subaru XV for a check today to Subaru Narellan. Received exceptional service from Joe and the team. Dropped my car to them, transport was provided to take me home and when car was ready, was picked up and driven back to pick up car! Excellent service provided especially from Joe and the driver of the shuttle service!

We're always very happy with Subaru Narellan but this time was exceptional. They made the drop off and pick up so easy for a mum with 2 young kids, they finished the car early and picked me up in my own car so my little one was safe in her own car seat. I thought it was going to be such a hard day but they made it so easy.

Thank you Subaru for easing my mind on what was wrong with my car. My battery was flat and we were very concerned being a new car. I had left the reading lights on in the car, something as simple as that. The led lights are hard to see during the day.

Service centre needs better phone support service to book an appointment. Had to call multiple times to get the service details correct but still on the day of appointment it had wrong purpose for visit and contact details were not updated correctly.

Re Forester Eyesight recalibration: Following this randomly turning off after 5mins+ of driving, the camera was replaced by another Subaru service provider. They then recommended and organised for the final part of this process with Subaru
