legit i have never ever left a review on anything online before but jesus christ i just had to leave this here. i visited (i believe) this subway on thursday june 27th around 8:45pm. there was another family eating at a table and two employees getting ready to start closing up, the shop closed at ten so i wasn’t bothered by this, i completely understand that some closing duties can take a long time and some of them you have to start sooner. as soon as i walk in this teenage girl who looks no older than 15 sighs, rolls her eyes, and walks behind the counter. it takes her about two minutes from walking behind the counter before talking to my friend and i. before she had even said “hello” or “welcome in” the first thing out this girls mouth (with a lot of attitude) was : “we’re out of tuna, only have wheat bread and are out of footlongs.” not a problem, all the days supply was used up already and i didn’t even want any of those on my sandwich. that was perfectly fine and completely understandable. a young male employee walked behind the counter and started making my friends sandwich while the girl was still making mine. she asked me what cheese i would like and i looked around and only saw that there was one cheese selection left (not a problem, i knew it was closer to closing time so i didn’t mind.) so i just said “that one i suppose” and she took the cheese, showed it to me, and said “provolone” in a really demeaning attitude and almost laughed in my face. she then proceeded to begin to talk to the boy employee about something completely unrelated, they were chit-chatting it up and laughing which normally i wouldnt mind, but they stopped making our sandwiches hat weren’t done and just left them open while they continued talking and laughing. after a while, they began to work with putting the toppings on our sandwiches. my friends sandwich was first so the male employee set his sandwich over the dressing containers and began putting the other things on top. the girl asked me what i wanted on mine and i just said “dressing” (i didn’t want to rush the boy and she could just ask me which one i wanted when he moved) no. she grabs my friends sandwich by the wrapper and the bread (with no gloves on) and reaches for ranch dressing underneath that. she SMOTHERED my poor sandwich in ranch dressing, this wouldn’t be an issue but i’m allergic to ranch!! i didn’t tell the girl i wanted ranch i told her i wanted “dressing” normally you would think someone would ask you to specify but nope guess that’s enough to come to a conclusion. by this point, i was just annoyed and in shock so i didn’t say anything i simply paid for the sandwiches and left. i’ve never left a primarily customer service shop before feeling as upset as i did. i didn’t mind the food mix-up too much i was more offended by the girls visible annoyance of us being in the store and the way she was talking to us 1. I understand how annoying customers who come in around closing can be. but we came in at 845, a whole hour and 15 minutes before the store shuts down. 2. i’m not trying to bash the girl on her lackluster customer service skills i just think she lacks the proper training and needs someone to help and guide her. 3. for all those wondering, the boy employee was fine, give that man a raise.

I just ate at this subway at 1:00pm on a Wednesday. I ordered the new ciabatti Italian which is supposed to come with fresh mozzarella cheese on it. I was told they were out of the cheese. This wouldn't be bad however last week they were out of onions! I think if they are promoting a sandwich Nationwide then they should have all of the ingredients. My boyfriend ordered the ciabatti Philly steak but wanted wheat toast. The server was too busy talking to another server and pulled the wrong bread. My boyfriend had to stop him from giving him the wrong bread. When we went to check out, the girl that was supposed to do the check out wasn't to be found so we had to wait for the guy dressing the sandwich to ring us up. A previous ncustomer had to come up an request napkins and then I had to remind him we needed napkins too. Along with being out of cheese, they also had no subway napkins but was handing out napkins from their bathroom towel dispenser which were small trifold napkins. We had to request them to change the lemonade on the machine and I noticed for the second time a container supposed to have a two specialty lemonade in it was still empty and very dirty like it hadn't been cleaned since last week. The drain on their soda machine was clogged and water was starting to spill out of the tray. While we were eating a Pizza man walked in with food for.the workers which I also felt was in poor taste and giving the impression I wouldn't here. Once the food came, the three of them disappeared together into the back room. There were several dirty tables and a floor that needed swept. This was how the area was last time we ate there. Oh, and the pop machine drain ..they bailed the water out using water cups which they stacked next to the machine after the water was gone, tried to unclog the drain which didn't work and just left it to fill up again. It gives the impression the owner of.thoa business really doesn't care if he stays open which is sad.

I placed an online order in the app for pickup at 6 PM (20 minutes later). I got a call at 5:51 saying they were out of the bread I ordered. That’s fine, I said a different bread was fine to substitute. I got to the store at 6:10 and they had not started my order. The young man said it would be 10 minutes. He started the order and then said they were out of grilled chicken. No apology, just stating flatly they were out of the main ingredient in both my sandwiches. While I waited, the another employee complained about another employee who worked earlier in the day. She was talking mockingly of this employee and it was very uncomfortable to sit there listening to this rude conversation. Others with online orders came in and were told “it’s going to be awhile.” No apologies for the wait, no offer for a drink while we waited. I will not be returning back to this location.

The customer service in this place is terrible. The workers are not knowledgeable of the menu. At about noon on 3/12/23 I ordered a All American Club and the worker named Leo attempted to put roast beef on my sandwich. When I corrected her and said the sandwich had bacon instead of roast beef, she told me that I was ordering a Subway Melt. I told her that it was called an All American Club which was clear on the menu. She proceeded to argue with me about this, then just walked away to the back, stopped making my sandwich, and told me “I don’t want to hear it.” The other worker was laughing the whole time. All this because she doesn’t know the names of sandwiches at her own job and apparently doesn’t like to be corrected by a customer. Is there not some kind of training on what the sandwiches are called? Or training on how to interact appropriately with customers? This Subway has gone way downhill.

Came in at lunch time i walked in and there were only 3 people ahead of me. Shortly after getting there, 2 more people walked in behind me. There was only one guy working pn making sandwiches and ypu could hear someone in the back qorking cutting vegetables. At this point there is 10 people in line and only 1 worker. I worked at another subway location for around 3 years and we always made sure if there were more then 2 people in line then there was more then 1 worker upfront. This is incredibly rude of the workers in the back, one for leaving their coworker to take on all of the customers by himself and 2 for knowing theres a line and letting of the people wait as long as we had to especially during lunch hour. The one working up front was gabriel and he was an amazing help! I dont suggest going to this place during lunch unless you have time to sit around and wait.

Worst Subway experience I’ve ever had. Walked in and line was to the door. Customers in front of me did not have masks and no free masks were provided by the store. The boy who started out making my sub was very soft spoken, seemed to have trouble hearing customers and moved extremely slowly. The Italian Herb and Cheese bread that I and the customer in front of me received was burnt. The customer behind me ordered the Italian Herb and Cheese and then they ran out. There were multiple people in the location without masks and they had fresh baked cookies sitting on top of the glass above the meats and veggies. The counter where they were making the sandwiches was a mess, they had overflowing trash and they had run out of small lids on the floor. I get that there are bad days. This is just facts when it comes to my visit.

Normally I will only post good reviews to places I have been to. But today is not the case. I visited this location yesterday with my wife to try and get a quick bite before going to the store. There were two gentlemen working but one decided to make his own sandwich instead of taking care of the customers. Normally I wouldn't mind but we were the only people in the shop. After the one who made our sandwiches stopped making jokes about every single thing we put on our sandwiches we went and sat down to find our sandwiches in the state they were. (Pictures shown). Mine was very messed up but my wife's was alright. The cookies we received were all over cooked and crunchy. I've been to this location a couple times before but this was the worst experience at this location. I do recommend other locations just not this one.

I was not expecting service with as much kindness and authenticity. Upon arriving I noticed a sign on the door stating only cash. I figured that I could still use a gift card. As I mentioned this to the female associate whose name I did not obtain she kindly referred to the owner and made me feel at ease with some conversation. When Gabriel came in he mentioned that he may not be able to as well. And asked me what did I want. I assumed he was going to give it for free! I decided not to go with the sub (I had my heart set on pizza) but he still insisted on my satisfaction giving me free cookies! As a promise this is the best service I’ve had in a very long time. Very kind , patient , informative heck I would of applied for a job then and there just to be around these lovely people. 5 star

Arrived for a curbside pickup and the lady/girl that brought my subs out handed me the bag and then said, "It is hard to bring these out when you have a store full of customers and you are the only one working." With a snooty attitude and an assumption that I knew there was a store full of customers as she walked away immediately. There were a total of 2 other cars in front besides mine. I just replied with a slow ok and told her to have a nice day. I get you are the only one working, but how is that my problem or fault? Be lucky you have a job. That was a very unprofessional thing to do. Will order from a different chain from now on. She maybe got the last laugh by not supplying us with our 2 bags of chips we ordered too.

I've been here several times at all times of day. This subway might have stood a higher chance of getting a better grade if not for the random early closing, the long wait times, and the rude staff. When a new girl was working working there and forgot how to make a sandwich I get all the time (Chipotle Cheesesteak), I politely offered some advice for what was next, and the manager snapped at me saying, "Give her a break, she's new. Let her figure it out." I think there were better ways that could have been handled. It doesn't seem like the workers want to be there and you can taste it in the food. If you want a good sandwich, the Jimmy Johns across the street is fast and delicious.

Definatelty just got scammed by the employee who rang me up on the register tonight. I ordered a 6 inch sub with chips and drink. Gave her a $5.99 coupon for the order. She took it from me but didnt scan it in the QR reader. She then told me it was $7.57 after she saw I was paying with cash. I argued with her about how expensive the price was and she proceeded to say that's what it is after the coupon. I gave her $8, she handed me .43 cents and she never gave me a receipt. I left and realized she probably pocketed my change after applying my discount after I left the store. Definately not going back to that store ever again.

Well this is the first time . I did a pick up order an online order! I can’t even eat it. It smells like a paper bag. And to be honest I feel like I’ve seen the guy before who did my order. I feel like this was purposely done. I’m pregnant and idk if my smell of things affecting anything but can’t even eat my food because it smells like a paper bag! 2 PAPER BAGS wrapping a sandwich seriously? Then wrap the paper bag with the subway wrap! That’s weird! That’s never happened! Yea not coming back for awhile! Food smelling like a paper bag is a no go ! Sorry but I can’t even eat! And I wasted $8 ! And my sandwich wasn’t even cut

Bad subway to work for they do not know how to train their employees nor do they know how to do put customers first to them their prep is more important then their customer when I work their at the beginning of May for the 2 days I was there their satire was really dirty in the morning which it shouldn’t of been dirty they expect 1 person to do a line of customers not how it suppose to be suppose to be two or all 3 on line to help and I am still waiting on my check they said they sent it out last Wednesday it’s been a week still no check bad place for customer service and to work for do not work for them period

This place has gone down hill in last 3 months! Rude manager and employee's, always out of most breads, and have a hard time making sandwiches when even told what to put on them! The manager and employee's that were there 6 months ago are gone and service and quality apparently left with them! Time to find another sandwich shop as this one is done! Not like the owner apparently cares as I see others having same issues and nothing has changed. The manager or as he says general manager is rude and likes to hide in back when busy.

I was at this location about 30 minutes ago. I come to this location just about everyday for dinner. I walk in and the young red headed girl working isn't wearing her mask, using gloves that she used to handle money on food, and she wasn't telling the customers ahead of me to put on their masks. They were wearing them when I walked in. I normally have a good experience at this location. However this girl working today always seems to be doing something wrong every time i walk in. I'll be going to a different location from now on and I suggest you do the same.

Received terrible service from this location. Card machine was down and was instructed to order from the app. Once order was about to be placed.. the young blonde lady says with an attitude she doesn’t feel comfortable with us being there and not to waste our time processing. We were the only “minorities” in the establishment. Please be mindful and stop judging ppl based on the color of their skin. As a military veteran and DOD employees, it was disheartening to experience this encounter. Please do better.

I hope some manager of this subway on north oak street read my message I drove all the way from Stlouis to meet someone who lives close to this subway store needed to kill some time stop by for a sendwich inside is young worker with long hair and beard how is it possible that people with beards ad long hair working with food I use to work with food in famous hotel in Clayton,Mo Ritz Carlton you have to have well neat not even one cent of inch beard on you have to shave every 2 days I am sorry I can’t eat here when I see worker appearance!!!

Walked into subway they required me to wear a mask and when I did put it on the manager walks out with no mask and they totally skip me after I had giving them my order waited 10 min watching other employees talk to each other just so I can just leave because I got mad and left mean while the person who had went in front of me told me I left my line Wich I was 6 feet away from counter as for covid you guys are not following orders not treating customer to the stander you guys represent I will be taking this up with corporate

I normally go to subway once a year to realize again why I only go once a year. This place had soggy bread, ice cold chicken even after it was toasted, even the bread was still soggy after toasted. The guy who made our sandwich drenched our sandwiches is sauce it was unedible. Training to make a sandwich shouldn't be rocket science. But obviously it is. I'm not trying to insult ANYBODIES intellectual abilities. But if I was a boss of anyone there and read this review I'd be looking to stop by and try what they are selling.

The customer service is honestly just terrible. I was never welcomed by a "hello" or let alone even a smile. They were slow and looked like they had no idea what they were doing, which left a line. A customer after me asked how the worker's day was and the worker flat out ignored the customer. The other worker didn't even talk the entire time. After checkout, I told them to have a great night and I was ignored. Everytime I decide to come here, I hope for it to be different, but it's not. It's the same every time.

Went in there today with 25 mins left of my lunch (the commute) and left with 5 mins to spare. It should not take 20mins to get a sandwich. I would be more understanding if the sandwich makers had put some hussle into it, however, they didn't. I worked at panera bread for few years during highschool and college years and would construct whole meals under 4 minutes. I understand the food industry. Its not right when I have to wait for so long for a sandwich I will not be able to enjoy

I ordered on the app, food wasn't even started when i went to pick it up. 2 out of 3 sandwiches was made WRONG! I have issues with the same guy, Everytime I go there, which is often. Before this time, I had to tell the same guy how to make the sandwich, to put the veggies and stuff on, he didn't know what he was doing. I understand that this time is hard, with not enough help and ppl not wanting to work. But dang!! I paid $33 for 3 sandwiches, to not be made right

I was in line behind 2 ladies. They were ordering 5 sandwiches, no big deal to me. However , it was the end of the world to the two people working. It was embarrassing honestly. Huffing , puffing , and Being snappy with the two ladies. Then the lady asked me what I would like , I told her 2 12 inch Herb and cheese , steak.and cheese. And she says " ughh 2 or 3 ? It's definitely a hit or miss location. Sometimes I'll get great service but more often it's new people that are wiping their nose right before they make my sandwich and have no idea how to work the equipment. Last time the sandwich artists kept bumping into each other and dropping stuff, which was very unprofessional and caused the line to grow significantly. I've thankfully never gotten bad food here though that I can remember, so that's a plus.

The two people that were working there were so pleasant. They changed their gloves during transactions and were very informative on what meats went on what sandwich. It was a good experience. It was the third Subway that I had been to two in two days and the only one that I ate at because the other two were doing thing that were erratic or not hygenic.

I have never had an experience here that blew off my socks here, good or bad. I never have my sandwich messed up because I make it simple and efficient at ordering. I know what I want & go into the store knowing that. I don't expect anything fancy when I go to Subway at any location. It takes time to make sandwiches, especially if it is toasted, so I'm not sure why people are surprised by this.

So many negatives with this experience: 1) extremely slow service, very visible irritability from one worker especially 2) workers not wearing face masks 3) One worker continued to sigh heavily and huff / breathe heavily while making our sandwiches (couple this behavior with no face mask = very uncomfortable patrons) We will not be returning to this Location. I would recommend everyone avoid this location, actually.

Well I went to 3 different Subways this day had coupons for 3 footlong subs for 17.99 only to find out that all 3 stores I went to I could not use on sandwiches I wanted like the All American couldn't order it because it had bacon on it but however I could order the Cold cut & add bacon for 1.49. My point is why send out coupons if you cant get what you want.

We have ordered delivery from this location and they never get our orders right. Many substitutions without letting us now. Its very disappointing the quality of food. Not to mention the shortage of meat in the sub. I hope management sees this and makes changes. Reading other reviews its sad that a restaurant can have this many negative review but no change.

This subway is TERRIBLE! Not stocked up on bread, their veggie cooler was half empty, and I aske did they take a coupon provided by the school district and his response was “I have no idea” not “let me check” or anything along those lines. And since when does subway have a ‘tip cup’? POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, POOR QUALITY OF FOOD, POOR OVER ALL EXPERIENCE.

This Subway is a bit sad. Both times I went recently they were out of Ciabata bread. My first visit they were out of all bread except flatbread and wraps. Been here three times and all three times I left disappointed. Also, I question the cleanliness and the attentiveness of the staff. Seems like a bunch of young people who don't seem to care.

This place is dirty and does not have enough staff. Spent my entire lunch break standing in line to then find out after I ordered they didn't even have the guacamole. I ordered the Turkey, bacon, Guacamole wrap. The kid behind the counter tried to charge me incorrectly and argued with me. This Subway is horrible and I will not ever return.

Very good food. At first we got the incorrect sandwiches but the kind man remade them. They could’ve just told us that’s too bad. I appreciate this amount of effort. I work fast food myself and I know it can be irritating when things like this happen therefore I appreciate the kindness. I’d definitely go again.

It seems 8 out 10 times I go into this place there's always issues. They've been out of the bread I wanted. Another time they were out of tomato's. And another time they couldn't accept debit cards. Not to mention they're severely understaffed. It's a clown show. Find another subway. You'll thank me later.

Been there 5 times and 3 out of 5 times they were out of something. One time out of meatballs, one time out of Italian herbs and cheese bread and one time out of black olives. Always went around 730pm and they have been cleaning up with chairs up on the tables like it was closing time. Will not go back.

Sandwiches were decent at best. I stood in line for literally half an hour, it took the girl (redhead, I think Cora was on her nametag) literally 20 minutes to make my 2 sandwiches. Both girls working also weren't wearing masks correctly and had them sitting below their noses.

Kids working were not friendly and barely spoke above a whisper. I had a problem with my order and they did not even attempt to fix it or even offer to fix nor apologized. We will not be back to this location. Teach them kids to speak up and be polite. Horrible experience!

It was clean and the food was good. The prices are comparable with other sandwich shops. Their cookies were really good. I think it was around shift change as the workers seem to be more focused on what they were being told by another employee as opposed to the customers.

Constantly out of EVERYTHING, especially if you go in the evening. The staff is completely incompetent and doesn’t care about restocking. Tonight, for example, they were out of two types of bread, tomatoes, several meats, etc. By far the worst Subway I’ve ever gone to.

not impressed with this particular subway. doesn't seem to be the cleanest and the customer service isn't great. there was a fly next to my sandwich and i didn't receive any compensation nor an apology. just that the store wasn't the one the employee usually works at.

Food was to normal standards for any Subway franchise; tables and seats were clean when I walked in, however they were not dry (looked as if they used a soaking mop without bothering to dry them off) [even after a half hour, tables were still wet]

Its hit or miss, depending on which sandwich artists are working. The biggest gripe is that they run out of meatballs a lot, so it's hard to get my wife her favorite sub sometimes. The sandwiches are still usually pretty good most of the time.

I've tried calling then multiple times to change my interview appointment for another time. Every time I called it did not have a voice mail to leave a message. All I heard was a dial up tone and then the phone just hung up. Answer your phone.

I keep trying this location because it’s close to the house and every time I wonder why. Subway needs to revoke their franchise from this location. They are always out of something and I’m not kidding when I say from lettuce to bread even.

Worst subway experience ever. Uber eats driver was amazing but our salad had spinach and meat and dressing and that's it. Was supposed to have tomatoes onions and cucumbers. My flatbread sandwich was a mess and the bread was gross.

It's a change from greasy burgers etc. Cold cut sandwich was good. Added more meat with a cost. Asked the server to change her glove on one hand. Saw her hand holding onto the counter. Other than that the service is ok.

Just got a sandwich at this northoak location about half an hour ago. Not a good experience. Lady behind the counter shows really negative attitude as customer coming in like it's bothering her. Will not come back.

Always out of Italian herb and cheese bread, usually out of most toppings, lots of times the card reader is broken down so you have to pay by cash. Definitely the worst run subway I’ve ever been to

When to this location before went to work to pick up lunch and one worker was doing all the work as the other worker was talking to another worker seem like her job wasn't really important to her.

The guys were trying very hard and maintained good attitudes, but our bread was burnt and sandwiches made incorrectly. The place was very busy, but I'd still prefer my food to be made properly.

They always have the sauces I need in stock compared to other Subways I've been to. They provide fast, quality service. I'm always in and out in less than 15mins. Great place for a to-go lunch.

Came in to get my usual Turkey bacon guacamole wrap for work. I got 3 slices of turkey on a double meat, no guacamole, and I didn't notice until I sat down at work to eat it.

If you use a Subway coupon and the coupon is dated 10/1 Subway will not honor through 10/1! Thought that was the stupidest thing! I'll keep going to Mr. Goodcents!
