I was killing time waiting to pickup my passport, so I hiked several miles and worked up a thirst (and a need to use the bathroom). I got into line and a black gentleman asked if I had change for a $50, as the clerk was refusing to take a fifty on a $20+ order. I said that I didn’t have any cash, but I offered to pay for the gentleman’s food (which had already been prepared). The female clerk appeared annoyed. I added a soda and bag of chips to the order and paid the $25 on my credit card. I then asked to use the bathroom, and the clerk told me it was out of order. Fair enough (even though there were two stalls, and it seemed a bit unlikely they would both be out of service). I sat down at a table to eat my chips and drink my soda. About 20 minutes later two older Hispanic women entered the store and asked this same clerk to use the bathroom. She promptly unlocked the men’s restroom for the one woman, and they both proceeded to use the facilities. The restroom had not been serviced between when I asked to use it and when she permitted the two older women to use it. I politely asked the clerk why she had refused me access to the facilities but allowed the women to use the restroom, and she fumbled through an improbable explanation about the facilities being out of service until 10:30. I will not speculate as to her motivations, but this case, but this conduct seems consistent with the very many other reviews left.

-Hiring -currently understaffed - restrooms almost never work ( homeless and regular folks come inside to mess it up; not flushing , not turning off sink after there done , not picking up toilet paper etc…. ) there’s a sign outside that says no public restroom ( please read ) another between the restroom that’s says restroom for customers only , -since I’m very understaffed it’s hard for me to prep everything and be open exactly at 9 am ,I get there 7am everyday to get things done - staff over worked ,I’m the manager opening and closing :( currently an assistant manager at dominos as well at night after I close subway at 8 pm -lovely people despite the homeless, people always hating on the homeless but yea no one wants them there but no one wants to help either so, I say live let live they are humans too - online orders I’m sorry my superiors haven’t been able to update our system to say we DONT CARRY PEPPER JACK CHEESE OR BBQ SAUCE , sorry! The location of this Subway restaurant is right next to two bus stops and a metromover or Miami mover stop. The approach to the subway should give you a pretty good idea of what to expect inside. The inside is just as shabby is the outside. People of questionable character hang around the store during the day. I shudder to think about the kinds of people that hang around once it's dark. The inside of the store is filthy. The floor is dirty with streak marks all over it. Even though when I was there someone was cleaning the floor, it was clear to me that this place needs a deep rub down to get the grime out. The tables are unclean also. The girls at work the counter are fine and made a reasonable sandwich but for some reason none of the ingredients felt fresh. It closer look at the lettuce showed me dark spots that arise when the lettuce has been sitting around for too long. Maybe they are you reusing lettuce between days and the same for other vegetables. This is definitely not a place I would recommend unless you really have to go for some Subway.

Worse Subway ever. There's an African American female employee name Joanna. Don't know if I pronounced her name right, but she's been giving many customers an aggressive attitude. And as a customer, I had to repeat my orders multiple time to her and this isn't the first time I've been treated poorly from this Subway. She's also been rushing the other customers and putting them under pressure. One customer was asking her a question, she gave that customer a bad attitude. She's basically been giving the customers a hard time including me. Never had I'd written a bad review before, but this time, I felt like I had to. Had a terrible experience at this Subway, and never had I'd seen a customer service so despicable due to the fact that this employee in particular is a miserable individual and takes her personal misery out on the customers. She should be ashame of herself. It's disgraceful that Subway would even hire an individual like her because I would never hire her or a person like her. Very disappointed with the service. I should have read the reviews first. Clearly they have an issue with employees opening late and locking customers out early. I arrived on a Saturday night about 9:30pm. Sign on the door clearly says "open until 10", and a neon "OPEN" sign is blatantly lit up in the front window, but the door is locked. There's even a person inside behind the counter in plain sight on her cell phone refusing to open the door, waving at us as if to indicate "yes, I'm here, I'm just not interested in working right now. Amazing typical Miami attention to service. At least the owners name & phone number are on the door. Called & left a message. Smart money bets they won't do anything about it though. Left a description of my visit along with photos and video on Subway's Facebook page and got a reply from ownership and corporate promising to do better. Hoping they will.

WOW, worst Subway I have ever been to. The dining area is very dirty. Employees pay zero attention to you when they are just standing around talking. AND, when I ask for the restroom key after paying, I was told “that the bathrooms have no working water”. Well that’s not true because while we were eating we watched an employee unlock the bathroom and use it! I understand homeless people are an issue but I just spent $28.00 in your store please unlock the bathroom for me I’m clearly not homeless and please don’t flat out lie to me. I have had poor customer service and this location is far beyond poor they are terrible. The sad thing is.. the owner probably has no clue how bad the service level really is. I haven't been in this place for a while but I go to college next door. Today around 3pm I walked in. The manger was loudly laughing & talking on her cell phone instead of helping her two (obviously new) employees. It took 15min for my sandwich. They only had one kind of cookie & only 2 kinds of bread (white or wheat) BOTH WERE STALE! The fixings for the sandwiches hadn't been restocked which slowed down the new staff more. And when I was finally at the register they told me "No card only cash", argued with each other in Spanish why no one told me. They then made the announcement to the store. The cashier asked the manager what to do with my sandwich. The manager shrugged her shoulders and laughed & told her to throw it away. As I watched the manager looked at me smiling saying "No card!"

Should be 0 stars but that’s not allowed. Went for sandwiches last night about 7 pm and were greeted to the server and a customer arguing about him overcharging for a replacement ingredient when subway was out of the original ingredient. The server was incredibly rude, didn’t even say hello or acknowledge our presence. He was making whatever he wanted. Added things we didn’t request and simply refused to add pickles!! He made faces, rolled his eyes and barely put any ingredients on the sandwich. Seems like every ingredient we asked to be added was coming directly out of his pocket. Sandwiches were decent in the end but easily the worst service I have received in any restaurant ever.

The worst place to eat ever in my life. There is this one Spanish kid with gold teeth 9147 is his server number, he's extremely rude and racist. He refuses to give me what I want in my sandwich, which I'm willing to pay for. Bread stale, no options only white. I work across the street and uncomfortable when I see this kid working in there, to go get a sandwich , I refuse to. He also proceed to press 20% tip without my consent. He needs to not be working there. He makes me feel like I'm bothering him or beneath him. The owner needs to reclaim his store with all these bad reviews. I always use Ubereats ordering from this particular store, with 28 orders averaging $25 (minus tip/delivery) each over the last 10 month (yes, I counted all my receipts from this store only). Today they get my order wrong, and when calling the store I have never been so rudely spoken too when alerting them about the situation. The employee even hung on me saying she was too busy. I guess my $700 I've given them since moving here really isn't that important to them, so they are not important to me and I will never order from this Subway again. Plenty of other stores out there in downtown Miami. What a joke. Store management: You need to leash your employees attitudes as it does cost you money.

I am NOT the type to leave negative reviews but the absolutely incompetent staff have completely butchered every order (more than three) I have placed through Postmates from this establishment. The place was filthy when I went in person, and the staff proceeded to have a five minute conversation in front of me before taking my order. No one in there washed their hands and scratched their heads with the same gloves they made the sandwiches. I hope the managers of this establishment check the reviews from time to time, because I am being completely sincere when I say that I have rarely received such poor service from any establishment in my entire life.

Treated me very unfair on very stormy day while with my daughter who is 3 and me being 5 months pregnant. They refused to let me use the restroom because i did not buy any food. I could understand this if i was homeless and no money. But i really dont understand this is that i dis not look homeless i had my child with me waiting for the bus in pouring rain and refused restroom because im not buying food. They need better service. There’s usually someone sleeping on the steps of the entrance, and there’s always around two or three aggressive panhandlers hanging out inside. They scream at both the customers and employees. It’s quite disturbing. They are very pushy, in your face, and will even get physical. On the first of January 2020 night time I had a employee pull out a weapon just because I ask him for the keys to the bathroom while I'm was waiting for a pickup; an hour later I went back thinking of calling a cop not to get the employee arrested but to talk to him because he seemed mentally not all there but when I arrived he pull a weapon on a group don't know what kind of weapon and he was arrested; the weapon he pulled at me was a tray looking thing with a handle probably to pickup the baked cookies so I'm sure he was arrested for pulling a more dangerous weapon than was pull out on me.

A horrificly rude employee that has red hair, (older woman) was completely inappropriate and went on and on about both restrooms being out of order (I honestly felt it was just not to have to get the key to allow a customer to use the restroom!) Spanish young lady was working alone in the afternoon of 04/02/17. There is a bus stop is in front so constant traffic. Ice machine was out and facility run down. Long wait but that girl was amazing. She went out of her way for everyone. We stayed nearby overnight and just got off of cruise ship. Was struck by her efficiency in the face of adversity. Also, amazed that a franchise can ignore a facility that deserves a lot more attention. Amazing worker with despicable franchise management.

Terrible service. First off, they're standing in the back just talking. And when I said "hello?" the guy with a piercing just looks at me and says they're not taking orders that they're out of bread and just went right back to talking. Uh... Really surprised to find out the store closes at 9PM despite its hours on door said 10PM. Ordered through Subway app and said ready for pick up then when coming over, the staff not open the door. Why the Subway app takes order and the store said ready to pick up but then shut door at 9:26PM? The lady waved at you and then disappeared leaving you at the door with your Subway app said your order is Ready for pick up!

This is indeed a Subway restaurant however it feels more like a homeless shelter. The place is extremely dirty and homeless people harass you either entering the restaurant or while your inside. The drink machines are constantly out of various sodas. The floors are disgusting. There will be nothing expeditious about getting a sandwich and getting out if you are short on time during your lunch break.

The guy making the food had a poor attitude not to mention the food quality was deplorable the lettuce was rotten the tomatoes we're also bad I canceled my order halfway through. Bread was stale (old). As a customer, I asked to used the bathroom and both were closed to customer-access. Having no bathrooms violates most jurisdictions' restaurant health codes. Said it was open mornings on Fridays, but didn't open until noon. Shame because it was a convenient location - won't be back.

I really can't food no fry food. When there today at 9:50 the lady wouldn't let me the store to order food. She close the store 10 minutes before time. 5 minutes after I walk off she came out to smoke a cigarette at 9:55 on the head. I'm going ask the manager tomorrow what time to close.
