The food may be an attraction , but the ugliness of the exterior of the building ( 55 Mitchel St Chifley ) is horrific ! The owners must be making a huge income and yet they can not be bothered to modernize and make the facade of building and interior more attractive. The many different types of building materials all thrown together on the facade are an eyesore to the neighborhood. Just wondering how clean the back kitchen / storage area is ? Also wish the owners would spend more time removing rubbish customers throw on the ground outside their shop. I am sure many people who drive past would stop at the cafe if it looked modern and more aesthetic, instead of looking like a dilapidated shop in a developing country!

Ordering by phone, the staff take your order and that's it. You have to ask them how much it is and how long it's going to be. The response to that is always 10 minutes. You get there 15 mins later and they've just started making it. The most recent time, it took them 30 mins to make 2 omelettes. I walked in and they hadn't started yet. Funny thing is, they think I don't understand when they speak Cantonese. Joke's on you. If you're going to order, make sure you can get them to commit to the time

Food was average at best. Chips were overcooked and cold/soggy when got home. Chinese food was bland and tasteless. Honey pepper lamb was very watery and not sure was even lamb. Peking style pork ribs were basically fat. We will never return. Shame because old Sunny used to be real good. Looks like a new crew have taken over.

How have I not heard about this place before? Thanks to my trainer, Cam, best value, old fashion burgers and chips ever. I haven’t seen prices like this since the 90’s. Very old school in a positive way and still doesn’t have a credit card machine so bring cash or else you can transfer them the money to their i’m account. The first but definitely not the last time I will visit.

Sunny's takeaway has a huge range. There's the traditional burgers, fish and chips etc... that you'd expect to find in a takeaway, plus there is a Chinese menu available too. The prices are very reasonable and when we were there, there was a steady stream of customers which was good to see.

Absolutely Dreadful,the locals love it and rave about it. But if you've ever had quality Chinese you'll know this isnt it . It's an eclectic mix of an old style fish and chip shop and a Chinese take away in the most out of the way location. Good if you're stoned or theres nothing else about

Literally been eating there for 25 years.. it hasn’t changed at all. Not a bad thing. Still cheap. Still no eftpos. Still don’t smile at you haha. But I love it. Just order pay eat. And the food is yummy as. They make it pretty fast unless it’s busier than usual.

Incredible Chinese Food and all round menu. The price for the food you get is also amazing. Only downfall is that before dinner time it gets absolutely busy, so if you haven't called in you have to wait.

The best place in the neighbourhood. It’s cheaper than cooking at home :) I am upset that i didn’t find this place sooner. Don’t expect too much quality but it’s so tasty and still so good.

I've been going to this place since I was a kid, after school at Chifley we'd get hot chips☺️ their fried rice is delicious! All their food is great, and reasonably priced too.

Found insects in their chilli chicken wings. Called to simply alert them to the contamination to prevent another customer having the same nasty suprise and the man hung up.?
