not really good experiences at all , i will never buy anything on this location again,,,, i saw an employed grabbing food in the back with a long hair loose ,, i ask why she dint have a hairnet on it ,,, she respond im on break ,,, and keep grabbing food from the display putting on a plate ,,, after i left that section , i found the manager which by the way is super rude person ,,, i mention the issue and he respond ohh are you the guy that call last time for a compliant ,, we have a lot people like you everyday ,,, in that moment he make me realize that he is the problem ,, but i guess he dosn't have the minimum idea about management an store ,,, Mr. manager ... if you accepting that im not the only one that complains on daily basis at the store that you are supposed to be management makes me realize that obviously there is a lot issues that needs to be address in the store ,,, he denied provided the 1800 or a contact person for complains ,,, we argued about the situation for a bit ,, and he had the nerve to tell me ,, well you see what happen looks like you love to make a show in the store ,,, not sir you are the one who makes all the show with your attitude ,,,, manager is not just a title ,, been a manager is to learn how to handle a situation like these and not loose control ,,,, specially with the words that is conning out of your mouth ,,,,, that can make to scale it even worth's the situation ,,, i accepted was my mistake for tying to talk to you ... i have inform the city about these matters which this is what i should be done from the beginning staring having a confrontation with you ,, but the way my first complain was about store having a lot fly's by the meat section ......

Reviews are all over the place, from hated it to adore it. Read the positive ones; they are more in line with my experience. This supermercado is like many other mid-sized Mexican grocery stores in terms of products. Deep selections for many Mexican/Central American foods. Cheese and cremas selection sent me to Internet search to learn the subtle differences between the choices. The 1-star reviewers complain about freshness, cleanliness and friendliness. I found all three to be perfectly fine during my visit. In fact, the floors etc smelled like a hospital that had been sanitized. Maybe the negative reviews were heeded. This will be my go-to store from now on.

I've been going to Super Mercado De Monterrey for several years. All the time I've been going there I've always been able to find authentic Mexican groceries and specialty foods the whole time. Whenever we want to cook something for breakfast or dinner, and we need it Authentic, we stop by and find whatever we need. From near Homemade tortillas to meats and cheese, this is where we go. They have bakery items like Mexican sweet bread to fresh baked cakes. I'll always shop at Super Mercado De Monterrey for all my needs !

I used to stop & get their flour tortillas for Dad when they we're on Davis St. I haven't been to this one since they moved. I assume from the reviews that they still have those almost-like-mama used to make flour tortillas. Since I now live in the country (close to Waco), I can't enjoy those tortillas. I can make them myself. I'm just too lazy to make them! Maybe they have a Mercado Monterrey down here. I seriously doubt it!

My favorite item, the only reason for entering this grocery store, are the delicious flour tortillas, made before your eyes, fresh hot and delicious! Like most places there are rude individuals. In all of my visits here I've experienced cold shoulder rudeness from both the staff and clients it's a very intimidating experience. The tortillas are worth the sacrifice.

Went on Monday, 6.24.21, and saw a live mouse sitting on top of the produce. We notified a staff member and he grabbed an onion stalk and swatted at it. He was so casual and said that they can’t seem to get rid of them lately. The mouse just ran off and that was that. Like nothing. We put our groceries down and left.

Nasty store. Filled with rats and roaches. I use to work there and sometimes I'd find products that a rat chewed on. Terrible management. The manager would grab the employees hips and they would lean on his arm. Completely unprofessional. I don't even want to mention how they work/rotate their meat and deli...

Great place to buy authentic hispanic ingredients, meats, fruits, pan dulce, candy from mexico, and the occasional elote man outside. Is small compared to other grocery stores, and everything is really packed in there. They also have an area to cash checks and send money out of the country to Mexico for ex.

I love going to Super Mercado Monterrey for the fresh homemade flour tortillas and for the homemade fresh hot foods avocados are great there's a huge and ripe you just have to go try the flour tortillas are the best I've been buying these for years at that place and their prices are great

A little high priced, but its a small mart close to home, but the homemade fresh tortillas ate some of the best I've ever eaten! They make them fresh constantly in- store, the package is so hot coming off the press when they bag it, sometimes its hard to carry! Friendly cashiers!

I only come here to buy tortillas. To me they are the best! Freshly made every morning.You can see them do the tortillas and you can feel the warmth once they're done, as well. Also like coming during winter time because it's the time of year where they sell delicious Buñuelos.

I absolutely love this store! The meat counter particularly the fajita meats and the fresh made tortillas, Pico, and guacamole are to die for! My only problem is being across town and not being able to shop there as often as I would like. Everyone is always friendly.

This place is awesome fresh tortillas and avocado's are always good. The only problem I do have is with their chicharon I bought it twice but it's always kind of hard and chewy and needs a bit more salt but other then that everything else is fine.

Great hole in the wall Mexican grocery store. Hasn't changed in over 20 years but it's still a local favorite and if you do shop here you probably are always going to get a freshly made elote con todo!

It’s a bit small for market place but you will find almost everything you need here. If it’s not meats or vegetables then you will be paying a surplus price since it’s a convenience charge.

Love the flower torillas. They are just as good as home made. We have to get 3 packages when we buy the. They are nice and hot ,that by the time we get home we are half way eating them.

I go to this store when I really need to..I hardily ever shop there Because its very dirty the isles are very little and the produce is nappy... They need to clean up there store..

Unsanitary! Never switch out their gloves when handling meat. They use same gloves that they touched meat with and give you cheese.Flies everywhere!

This store has great bargains, but when I go in the staff are not friendly at all. They look at you suspicious like why are you in our store!
