Be careful at this location. I went once over a year ago for a one time car wash. I remember the guys working there assisting me with purchasing my car wash. Well months later I noticed I had got a $24.99 charge from superstar car wash but I hadn’t gone in a while. I decided to look through previous bank statements and saw that I’ve been charged every month since the one time I went. Today I had a friend tell me they were getting charged $24.99 from superstar but they thought it was a scam. I told him about my situation and they said they had gone once too a while back but didn’t sign up for the subscription. Either the employees get some kind of incentive for signing people up or it is a scam. I figured I’d share my experience since it was from this location. If you go, don’t let the workers “assist” with your purchase. It’s unfortunate because the car wash and equipment here are not bad but there’s definitely something going on with employees signing customers up without telling them.

Although my review below pretty much still stands, they have removed the equipment from half the tunnel at this location (McDowell). It's gone. I'm not sure what happened. I recall there was additional cleaning equipment available along the tunnel. It's been at least months since this happened. Original review... I've been using this Super Star Car Wash for one year now and I'm still perfectly satisfied. You get a good wash and they provide towels at every station to dry off your car. It has never been super busy and I have gone at a variety of times. The employees I have interacted with have been friendly. A particular shout out to J.R. who works in the office. I got a new car and needed to transfer my plan and sticker. There were some complications but he went above the call of duty to resolve the situation. The experience was way beyond my expectations. I'm very impressed. I highly recommend this place.

Decided to try this car wash and it was a huge mistake. After a payment machine broke down, tried to keep our hopes up that it would be a quick experience, but upon looking at the car after the wash, several parts of the vehicle were scratched in odd places (not to mention that the car is not very clean). When brought up to management, we were immediately dismissed and talked down to, specifically by Bryce and Nick. They looked to excuse the mistake and blame several other reasons, including our intelligence, without taking responsibility for something that could've only happened in a car wash. TL;DR- went in for a car wash, got a car scratching instead (with a car that is still dirty)

I went to this location a few times to get my car washed. I eventually got the unlimited car washes. Most of the time when I went, the scanner didn't read my plate. I had to pay for a car wash on top of the regular monthly payments because I got trapped in the stall and nobody was there to let me through. I have been there before and left with a star chip in my windshield. I didn't know for certain if this place caused it so I went and got it repaired. I just went again a few days ago and left with another star chip in my windshield. I couldn't determine if this was the cause or not the first time, but the second time I looked at my car before going in and didn't have any cracks.

I came here by recommendation after my disastrous experience at raceway carwash on thomas between 40th and 44th st. I can honestly say i was VERY surprised! Best blowers in a tunnel wash ive ever seen in arizona to start with. Air hoses and moist towels over at the vacuum area to do some door jam/water in odd places detailing. And to top it off they gave me a sealed disinfecting wipe rag for my interior. A very nice touch in this day and age. My car came out VERY clean, hell i didnt even have to touch up the windows. Spot free rinse is actually spot free. Great service, great pricing, I would highly recommend. You guys have gained a new client. Thanks again!

Absolutely amazing! I am in construction and wash my truck here on the daily. Mark the assistant manager is incredibly tentative and his pride and work ethic are those I see very few of these days in every industry. His current staff has been well trained and shows his dedication to ensuring this location runs like a well oiled machine. I know he has had to deal with awful employees in the past, they have been rude, uncaring, and sometimes walked out of their duties and Mark has picked up the slack sometimes running numerous positions at once. Mark should be placed on a pedestal and definitely in line for a promotion and raise. Mark, cardal, and Daniel are amazing!

First let’s start off by saying that the stuff is super helpful and very friendly. I have been to other car washes and sometimes you can’t even find the staff to help you out at the pay machine. I had a coupon the staff here helped me and taught me how to do it. Also the machine here has never scratched my car or damaged it in any way I have a decent size SUV and it’s never had no problem coming out spotless. THE MACHINE ACTUALLY DRIES YOU CAR! Also love how the vacuums are FREE! and we get those little towels to use to dry your car with as well and clean with I love it here and will continue brining my car here.

Simply the best express wash and team in the area !! Always a pleasure doing business with Mark, JJ, John, and the rest of their team. I have a few unlimited memberships with Super Star and this team is always there for me when I need to make account changes or address anything. These guys take care of customers week in and week out and work hard to keep the vacuums working optimally and the hand towels available They really take care of business at Super Star and have a customer first mentality day in day out. Thanks again for all you do!!

Can I advocate for everyone who honks at this place? Thing is we need an exit route designated for leaving. Have this place as a favorite of mine as a ride share driver. Want safety to be the focus for whomever owns this beautiful location. When entering, one has to contend with both the exiting crowd done with everything, and the ones coming out of the auto wash who just leave and don't wipe down. Please design an exit away from this traffic. Don't make me petition one. ( p.s. willing to change to a 5 star if you're willing to change.)

Never park overnight under a tree in Phoenix. Super Star Car Wash was well reviewed and we REALLY needed a wash. They actually ran it through twice to get it all. Bonus: Clean towels for drying, free vacuums, high-pressure compressed air to blow out the mirrors and trim (eliminates those nagging water streaks after you drive off), and even free tire inflation if your pressures are off. I've used a LOT of car washes throughout North America and haven't found a better car wash!

In May 2023, I bought an unlimited pass with my credit card. I initially paid $10.95b and they began charging my card $24.95 a month. Recently I noticed they have been charging my debit card $20.95 each time I use the express lane. They got my debit card from the time before I bought the unlimited membership. They stole more than $120.00 from me. Don't use this rip off carwash. It is close to my home, but they are thieves.

Love it here!! We bring vehicles through the wash multiple times a week and truly appreciate the respect and professionalism received by Mark and his team at this Super Star wash location. Mark always takes care of business and treats me/mine as family. All Mark's interactions with customers are always warm and friendly and the same stays consistent for the rest of the team. It's a pleasure doing business at this wash!

I used to give this place 5 stars but then they made it impossible to navigate their website to make changes and COMPLETELY got RID of their customer service line. To add to the frustration, every time they get someone competent working at this location, they transfer them to another location and ensure this one is staffed with subpar staff. NOT so SUPER anymore.

Love coming here, they have the best equipment and best wash. The employees wash down the brushes multiple times daily so I never have scratches. On my last visit Brynn and his crew were super attentive. I got stuck at the machine and right away brynn came over to assist. Mark was very helpful That was what I was told to do by this scammer who told me I had to pay for wash even though I had a coupon. That was month ago. Today I had another coupon I was sent, same guy, this time said it "only gives a $3 discount on $22 wash"even though it clearly says "1 free exterior wash." SCAM. Avoid this location. Will try a different one.

Miguel is a great employee! The tire wash part of the machine was not working so he went around asking people if they wanted a tire shine and did so tire by tire. Really appreciate his ethic. Overall place and employees are great people! One time one of them let me borrow their phone to call a locksmith when I locked myself out of the car w my phone inside!

Got a great deal on a monthly pass! Pays for itself after 2 visits! You can go as often as you wish. Only thing I wish was different is the air freshener they give you. I'm not a fan of the scent at all and it seems it's the only one they offer. I'm not a fan of my car smelling like pine. Other then that, I'm happy I chose a membership here

Great service for a great price! SuperStar does a fantastic job cleaning compared to other drive-thru car washes. All the staff are super friendly and helpful! Was having trouble online trying to change my membership to a different plan, and JJ on site helped walk me through it, appreciate it a ton!

I have to say that this is my favorite super star car wash. Not only did they change the kind of car wash that I requested they even came over to see if I was satisfied with the wash. I’ve worked customer service a very long time and MARK made an amazing impression. Keep up the good work my dude.

I like the prices for unlimited car wash and how convenient it is. The one thing I don’t like is the tire shine. It’s a thick oily mess that never spreads evenly and once I start driving it ends up all over my mirrors and other parts of the car. Hopefully they come up with a better solution.

This car wash is great and the customer service is even better from employees here applying tire shine at the vacuum bays to Rod and Mark going above and beyond helping find a lost item in the car wash tunnel. The professionalism and kindness here are unmatched.

I love this place! It's never super busy. They give out free washes a lot and their prices are fantastic. They have fresh towels, super strong vacuums, glass cleaner, air, free mat cleaners and a vending machine with great stuff. This is my go to car wash.

Great location. Friendly staff. Vacuums, air guns, and tire polish are almost always not working or broken. It's disappointing when you pay for ceramic membership for multiple cars and you aren't even getting what you paid for.

Great car wash with towels and air for your tires. They offer month plans so you can take your car to wash everyday if you want. All the vacuums usually work and they have towels as well.

Folks working here are pleasant and typically helpful but this location seems to have technical issues frequently. Last visit their system needed resetting and caused a 15+ minute wait.
