Despite the fact that it has been quite a painful process, I must acknowledge that the clerk's at this office have minimized the somewhat agonizing experience and have actually given me strength and guidance to proceed. They have went above and beyond what they are required to do in terms of assisting the public, myself included, to a degree that is beyond their requirements. Note that their job is to simply file your documents and provide you with instruction. I would like to acknowledge their hard work and how exhausting it must be especially when dealing with those whom expect these wonderful clerks to do their job for them or judge them so tentatively. Not only do they have to deal with very heavy topics and often deeply emotional matters. It seems as though they get the brunt of the public's anger and still go above and beyond to serve those whom are often ungrateful. In my personal experience, they have been considerate, generous of their time and very understanding. I do hope the public acknowledges how hard their job must be and that it is your job to assure that your documents are in order and correct any errors and despite this, I have seen, first-hand that they take the time to guide us and I am forever grateful for their time & understanding. Their work ethic is inspiring to me. Even their ability to find humour and make light in such a heavy environment and I won't allow others to speak negatively upon them without defending them, they are IMPECCABLE creatures and have been very go(o)D at what they do and deserve a raise, in my own opinion & observation. For the record, I am self-represented and initially had no idea how to go about this matter. If it wasn't for their guidance and encouragement, I would be lost, without them ✨✨ I am forever grateful to them and have found a new respect for their work ! Migwech Gigi Trudel

How does an immigrant named Bosco who can barely comprehend court proceedings and can barely speak proper English work as a manager at this “superior court” under qualified and Misinformed staff should not be permitted to provide ANY sort of legal advice for example the “clerks” (which is all they are) should never be allowed to advise of court forms to be completed as they are always WRONG but yet they move like they are so knowledgeable....Even the advice lawyer is a complete airheaded useless form of advise just looking to capitalize on his docket list to get paid but clearly has zero knowledge and hands out advise as if he actually knows individuals cases to the T.... I filled out the correct forms only to have them thrown back at me as not the “right “ forms ... but then management confers that they were correct SMH the most uneducated humans that are working in the wrong place... I will be contacting the managers boss to file a formal complaint. If you can stay the hell out the system is the best advise to take if y’all know what I mean ... The most intimidated scaredy cats work there ... intimated useless seniors and people who can’t handle an outsiders intelligence the worst court in the whole GTA for real.Tierra

Way too slow!! Our lives are on hold while we wait. Definitely not 6 to 8 weeks. May, 2023: I am still waiting for an estate probate process to finish that was supposed to take 4 months when it started back in November 2021. I have leukemia and thankfully I am currently in remission but, in the meantime, I still have to take prescribed medications which are very expensive (over $1,500 per month) and my inheritance will help me very much to be able to afford these medications which, for me, make a difference whether the leukemia becomes active again and I die or, if I continue to take the meds, I can still live my life. In my humble opinion, the courts don't care. End of May - Just had another series of tests including blood tests for my leukemia. My doctor advised me that he will have to give me stronger medications which will cost more than what he originally said he would have to prescribe. I CAN'T AFFORD THESE MEDS on my income even with a health plan. My lawyer has done all the paperwork and I have signed whatever was required so why can't they just finish the probate? My inheritance would greatly help me, especially to prolong my life so that I have more time to do things I want to do while I still have time left.

I just read a review someone left who mentioned the same thing I went through which was while trying to obtain divorce certificate information she was fed up with my questions and pretended that the phone was losing signal until she hung up. I called back and got the information I needed but still was left to dig through the awful website. Pretty sure there are multiple people acting as phone operators but this particular woman needs to be let go asap.

Visited the 8th floor Civil Intake Office a few times, staffs are nice and helpful. One man from Civil File Room on the same level is absolutely awful. Lost affidavit of service and claimed not his fault, never talk to visitors until he noticed you stood for too long, acted as arrogant and stupid. MAG apparently hired the wrong person for this position.

Unfortunately getting through to the court on a phone call is similar to a lottery based system. You punch in all of the options to reach an operator on the other side just to have the line hung up as soon as you get through. Sometimes, they answer however most of the time, you wait 30 mins to an hour just to have the line cut on you.

People, if you please note that there is no dislike finger, LOL they do not accepted to dislike them! one person told that they closing faster then the hours of operations, a cheaters, always a cheaters! they forgotten that they working for people and getting pay at the taxpayers money, meaning our money!

I was at the estate office today for an hour to retrieve certain documents and they never answered the phone. They just let it ring and didn't even bother picking it up. To be fair, when it was my turn, the clerk was nice. C'mon people, pick up the phone.

I've been waiting here since they opened at 9am. And it's almost 11am which they close until 2pm. Lots of people here and only 1 clerk working out of 5. And everything goes so very slow. Not impressed wouldn't recommend coming here for family law at all!

Is possible to mark a "0" star for review of this place? The worst service I've ever seen in a courts within Canada. It seems to me the court clerks are unprofessional and careless if to compare with any other court located within Canada.

  • Ilda Caldwell

The clerk JR is very rude and condescending. She forgets that she is a public service and is paid to serve the public. If she can’t handle dealing with the public maybe she should move on. Enough pro se shaming

  • Sandeep Sandival

Court staff at this location are completely useless in helping anyone especially the main clerk with the dreads. A complete waste of tax dollars and disrespectful to society.

  • Leizel Sacayan

Thought it'll open until 5pm during week days but the counter is closed 4:45pm..they should change the time 8:30am to 4:45pm,because it's so upsetting and very unreasonable!

  • Tony Coo

I wish I could give zero stars. I called the number and answer "judges administration". I said excuse me? I want to fill out a form. They hang up!!!!!!!!! No manners!

  • Trisia Claudine

People r so disresectful.. I call in to the phone and they just drop the phone ryt away ..i call several times theyre picking up the call and they ended it right away

  • GRANRAPPA Not your Average Moe.

With a little of my time and patience... My situation was thoroughly explained and presented to me, with assistance:in a user friendly manner by Mr, clerk AB 2023.

  • Jason Gafar

The phone number is utterly useless. It just plays a recorded message which literally lasts over ten minutes and does not give you an option to select an option.

  • Lizaveta Ksenafontava

The worst call experience ever. Waiting for 10 minutes for unrelated info. “Press one for English” and transfers to the French line.

  • LADY SKELLY
