10 out of 10 highly recommended! We moved in San Antonio less than 2 months ago and wanted to have our house painted. Let me say this first: working with Ernest and his crew to paint our house is the best decision we made. They are fantastic. We quoted multiple contractors, and we are confident that we wouldn't find any other contractor who can provide a quality job as theirs at a better price. Let me break it down: (1) Communication: The owner, Ernest, is very responsive, honest, respectful, and easy to communicate with. He came to our house to quote and provided us the job proposal in less than an hour. He also very patiently discuss with us, after his normal work hour, how to modify the proposal to both get the job done and save us money. When the job starts, Ernest will come onsite everyday to make sure everything is going well and follow the schedule. (2) Quality of the work: The job is terrific. We painted the entire house, including the interior, the cabinet, and the exterior sidings, doors and trims. It was a lot to paint. Ernest's crew had everything done in two weeks. Our house (20-years old), looks like a brand new one now. My wife is pregnant and we are concerned about the VOC content after the painting. Ernest was very acommodating and found the best alternative paint to minimize the smell. Not only the house looks fantastic, we also hardly smell anything after the job. We are very happy with the quality of the job. (3) Professionalism of the crew: All the professional painters from Ernest's crew were super respectful and professional. They came on time everyday and made sure the job is carried out on schedule. They cleaned up the site everyday after the job. We lived in the house during the job and could hardly feel any difference. (4) Price: We quoted multiple contractors. Superior Painting offered the best price, which is way cheaper than some other contractors. We will definitely come back to Superior Painting and Remodeling if we need to do any house project in the future.

The hardest part of commerce is finding a solid company with great ownership and people. This is the one! Ernest Espinosa owns an A+ business with trustworthy and professional employees. They all work together to get it right the first time. I had Ernest and his team completely paint and repair the interior of my moms house. Her house is 57 years old and most areas inside haven’t ever been painted. Mainly original walls and wood paneling. I live over 3 hours away, but Ernest helped me with color selection and kept me updated on everything that was going on. He called with any questions and is very knowledgeable on making suggestions on areas that might be in question. I drove down 5 days into the job and Ernest met me at the house. I discovered some unused security detectors and cables on the walls and in closets I forgot to mention for them to remove. Absolutely no problem. They removed and repainted those areas to match perfectly with the walls and ceilings. I could continue, but you get the idea. I work with a Christian-based non-profit that takes care of children and adults with IDD. We had a number of homes that needed fresh paint along with some administrative buildings. With the experience we had... there's no question about who we will use for any future painting... it will be Superior Painting! We moved from out of state to San Antonio, bought a new house and decided to have the entire interior repainted. We asked my wife's sister Ana, who lives in San Antonio if she new any painters. She immediately said "go with Ernest Espinosa he's great!" His company, Superior Painting, painted THEIR home, and they couldn't have been happier. So we did. And Ernest himself oversaw everything, making sure his crew knew every detail of what we wanted, and didn't want. And his crew truly couldn't be better! They worked like a well-oiled machine. Took two days... always on time, arriving precisely at 8:00am and leaving at 5:00pm, with a lunch 12:00 to 1:00. We had a wonderful experience with Superior Painting. Ernest was very easy to work with and the bid for the job was within our budget. When we choose contractors, the quality of their work and timeliness in performing the work are more important to us than a very cheap price. Their crew always arrived exactly on time and started work at 8 AM. They were always finished working at 5 PM. The crew were responsive and all of them terrific people. The quality of the work was first rate. During the course of work we uncovered additional work which needed to be done. This is not uncommon when you are doing a big job. Ernest was very responsive in seeing that work got accomplished and at a price that I thought was very fair. This was a big, challenging job and took a five person crew almost two weeks. After all of that time and all of that work together, we cannot think of a single thing that they should have changed or could have done better or more responsively to our needs.

After quite a bit of shopping around and getting quotes that were all over the map, I called Superior on a recommendation from a good friend. Although the price was around the same as most of the affordable quotes I had already got, I took an instant liking to the owner "Ernie" during the call. He assured me that they do a quality job and work very clean. I have had some painting done in the past by "clean" professionals who were anything but clean. Bottom line was that when Ernie's crew was done it looked cleaner than when they started. Quality work and very professional from start of job to clean up. I highly recommended Superior Painting and Remodeling if you are in the San Antonio area. I sold that house 3 yrs ago and recently the new owners told me last week that the paint hasn't needed a touch up since and still looks great. Good work deserves a good endorsement, Hopefully I have done them justice.

This is the second time we have used Superior and we were not disappointed. Ernest is extremely professional, as well as all his staff. Over the course of refurbishing a large 120+ year old house in King William we have used contractors extensively - all of whom have disappointed - except Superior. The team is polite, professional, extremely diligent and timely. Their eye for detail is what sets them apart, along with their skill and craftmanship. Scope of work included full repaint of exterior, major wood rot repair, complete interior painting, deck refurb and concrete walkway stain. They even helped install bird spikes to rid the property of pigeon poop! Ernest is always extremely responsive, accommodating and willing to provide guidance on material selection, paint palettes etc. I highly recommend and will continue to use Superior for all our painting/remodeling needs in the future.

I am very impressed with all the guys at Superior Painting and Remodeling. They repainted the exterior of our house and replaced rotted trim in several places along with some damaged siding. Their work was of the highest quality and they finished two days ahead of time. Even though they were significantly delayed working on our house because of the rainy weather here in SA from April through June, Ernest kept in touch and made sure they could start as soon as the weather allowed and they had caught up on their previous jobs. All of their workers were polite and respectful, not to mention skilled at what they do. They checked multiple times with me to make sure that I approved of the work or saw anything that needed to be changed. After the main work was done, there were only a few minor spots I pointed out and they addressed them right away. I would definitely use them again.

Weather events, supply-chain issues, and our own family scheduling challenges added up to an extended completion timeline for our home painting job, but Ernest was always able to schedule his crews around these events to get the job done. He personally inspected his crews' work and conducted a walk through with us after every phase of prep, repair, and paint application. Anything we noted (or he saw that we didn't) was quickly fixed with no hassle before the project moved to the next phase. The finished house and deck look great, and we are very pleased with how this project turned out!

We hired Superior initially to paint the interior of our home. We were very pleased with the quality of their work and politeness and professionalism of their crew. We had a tight deadline to get painting done in advance of installing new carpets and they met expectations. Ernest stopped by frequently and would walk the house with us. They quickly addressed any touch-ups we requested. Based on the quality of work, we hired Ernest and crew to paint our exterior. Wet weather put off work for a couple of weeks but once drier air set in, they moved quickly to complete the job. We appreciated their patience with us in selecting colors and applying samples to help us make the right decision. Ernest and his team did a phenomenal job painting the exterior of our two story house. The team was able to begin the project several days sooner than originally planned and completed the entire project within two days. They went above and beyond to make sure that everything was done to satisfaction. We also had new windows installed prior to painting, and the team made sure that they were completely covered and protected from any paint. We also had two doors painted that came out perfect. To top it all off, the team caulked several beams we have in the inside of the house as a courtesy and also replaced a rotted base board on the exterior of the house. This was my first time having a company paint the exterior of my house, and my expectations were blown away! Highly, highly recommend!

Superior Painting did a great job. We had them paint the exterior of our home, hand a good amount of wood repair as well as refinish our front door. I did take a couple of estimates and Ernest was by far the most thorough and informative of all the estimates we had. Because of that and his good reviews we gave him the job. His estimate was fair for the amount of work. Can't say enough about how good his crew was. Superior Painting removed popcorn ceiling and painted several rooms for me in 2013. Those rooms still look great. Based on previous experience, I contacted Ernest again when I had all fascia boards replaced with hardie board around my home, which has a vaulted roof. Painting included all wooded areas above a brick sided house. Superior gave me a competitive price. The painters were excellent. They were completely on task, worked efficiently and neatly, arrived early and left at a regular time. Job was completed in 4 days completely to my satisfaction. I’m so glad I went with Superior Painting. We bought our home 2 years ago, what was supposed to be relatively move-in ready turned out to be a costly fixer upper. My wife and I selected Superior Painting after talking with a neighbor who noted Superior’s detailed prep work and excellent results at an extremely competitive price. WE hired Ernesto and his team after taking several bids. Superior’s painters are experienced, timely, respectful and easy to communicate with. Our house took about a week and Ernesto was frequently on the scene managing the process. We also had him paint an adjoining iron gate and fence as well as sanding and re-staining our front door.
