I've been going here when I was in College 4 years ago. And went in to Dine in again a month ago with my 4 yo when my appt was close by to this restaurant and spent 80$ including 10$ tip. And I came back with my fam today after we went to Top golf, so my mom can try the crawfish and mussels dynamite that I like going in here for. 3 adults 3 kids. Ages 4's and 9. Apparently they would charge you gratuity for 20% when its party of 6. Our total bill came up almost 190$ ish. 32$ goes to the waitress. Something I wasn't aware of. 20$ tip atleast is a decent tip since the 4yo can make a mess like dropping food. The sodas were flat. & it's not like the service is outstanding and very welcoming we literally have to ask for everything. I have served food too and I know. Tips shouldn't be like that. You're demanding money without their knowledge. What if people have only ENOUGH money to eat outside because they don't have time to cook because of the kids? Tips should be base on how we are served. We dont keep asking to refill our drinks. Ice water is very light ice that it melted right away while waiting for appetizer. I understand tipping is a common practice but giving a tip is not expected and not legally required. The amount of the tip is always at the discretion of the customer. What if my I spend 500$ of our dinner tonight and had ordered to go? That would mean 100$ tip for the waitress when It's only 3 adults and 3 kids who barely ate. That's ridiculous. Not coming back.

I was in the area, looking for a new place to eat lunch. I tried this place for the first time today, 6/1/2022. It’s located in a nice shopping center in Stone Oak. It’s small, cozy, and clean and has an inviting ambience with lots of natural light from the windows. I was immediately greeted with a smile from the hostess as I walked in and was seated. I had the vegetable gyoza as an appetizer, which was fried lightly and crisp and the dipping sauce was flavorful. The green salad was fresh and plentiful with a couple of slices of tomato and cucumber slices, plenty of greens and shredded carrots and a side of ginger dressing. I already knew just with those two dishes that the rest of my meal would be just as good. I ordered the Lennon Pepper Tuna Roll which was fresh, tasty and delicious. I also ordered the salmon skin hand roll which I love for the crunchiness of the salmon skin and all the ingredients came together well. I was happily pleased with my new experience here. I hate spending $$ on a meal that isn’t good, so I usually stick to what I know. I’m glad I tried this place, everything was fresh and delicious!! I regret not taking pics!! I just ate it all up!!

We were torn between coming here and sushi zushi and after visiting here last night we will definitely be trying sushi zushi next. We were quite disappointed! First off the happy hour menu is a bit deceiving. There are sushi rolls on the HH menu that are listed as rolls on the regular menu however they’re under temaki, even though they’re only rolls on the main menu. Nonetheless we specified we wanted the roll and it still came as one hand rolled item. We then had to wait until we were done with everything else to get that item. Additionally the sticky rice was not the best which made it difficult to eat, especially for our teenagers we were teaching to use chopsticks. Additionally the tuna did not taste fresh. Granted we’re not near the ocean but typically raw tuna should not have a strong fish taste or smell and it did. Also our server did not have the best customer service skills or attentiveness. Thankfully another server Sam helped out with our table quite a bit and because of that we gave our review 3 stars instead of less. This is the closest sushi place to our home so kind of bummed it didn’t work out. There’s definite room for improvement!

I have had better $1 instant noodles udon. I don't know what they served me, but it was sickly sweet and the noodles tasted like plastic. It was disgusting, but what made me gag was the fact that they had the audacity to charge 15 dollars for what clearly came out of a plastic package and microwaved... Their sushi was terrible as well. They were clearly skimping on the actual sushi and jamming the rolls full of the cheap ingredients. All I could taste was the large globs of cream cheese in the roll I ordered.. Service was slow for a fairly empty restaurant and the waitress was unknowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was uninviting, booth was uncomfortable, and decor was tacky. I have no idea how this place is rated so high... What is it about the suburbs that attract bad restaurants with suspiciously high ratings? I had high hopes going in, but those hopes were quickly dashed. Only eat here if you don't know what Japanese food is actually supposed to taste like.. actually if you don't, just go buy some instant udon and HEB sushi. It will be a fraction of the price and still taste better than this slop.

It's great to see a good sushi restaurant in Stone Oak. The rolls are delicious and priced right (for the area). The staff was polite and attentive. The only critique I have is there is a shortage of salmon or tuna focused rolls. But if you like shrimp rolls, you're in luck. The tuna nigiri is a good deal and the rolls were well balanced yet elaborate. The two of us did lunch for under $40. Not bad. I'm going back! Update 5/22 Dinner tonight was delicious. The rice crispy app was a good start. I really enjoyed the Luis and Rainbow rolls for good'ol classic fish based sushi. I recommend the Marilyn Monroll for something different. It's a sweet and savory roll, using strawberry and fish. Add some soy and wasabi for an amazingly rounded flavor. They have a decent Saki selection, too. I found the special Philly had too much cream cheese. It really overpowered the rest of the roll. But that's a pretty typical mistake with cream cheese, imo. I think I might try a poke bowl next time. Those looked yummy. Table for four had a filling dinner for$120+ tax.

This was our first time there and we weren’t happy with our waitress Nicole who served us . The place wasn’t even busy and she wasn’t friendly either. She went around the table and took everyone order then I told her my order but I guess she didn’t understand the words are coming out of my mouths in English or what because everyone else got their foods but me. I waited and thought the cook took a little bite longer for my food but come to find out she never put my order in. My sister told me to asked her but I said never mind and left it alone but the manager I’m sure heard it and told her something but she never came to the table to asked how was our foods or everything alright. So overall my experience was horrible and if they didn’t take our tips out already then I will not even tip her at all because she don’t deserve it nor she didn’t earn it. We will never go back there again because who ever was the manager or owner don’t care about their customer’s period. If I had to rated it then it would be zero not one star.

Food good, service could be improved, and be sure to read your bill before you pay. Family of six, ordered five teas and one water, but had ten teas on the bill. Ordered a soup, appetizer and six sushi rolls and only five rolls arrived due to server failing to put in the order. Tea charge was corrected, reducing the bill by $20 and sixth roll was promptly prepared. Gratuity of $20.40 was already included(Assuming since we were a party of 6) on the lined item receipt, but not on the sign off receipt for the restaurant. But with so many mistakes, was the gratuity worth it? Guess they figure it will be taken anyways, so ths service is take it or leave it. I could have argued the gratuity, but I feel it would be better if management ensures their staff understands the "True" meaning of customer service; 1.) Order accuracy presented on table and on bill and 2.) Drinks not empty more than ten minutes. Restaurant was not overly busy, so not sure where the confusion was??

I've known about Sushi Seven for a long time and even though it wasn't far from us, we only started visiting a little over a month now. Since outdoor dining is important to us, it is great to see a roomy outdoor space and seating. The happy hour has been great too which ends at 7pm on weekdays so there's plenty of time to enjoy some drinks and food after work. Several dishes we've tried include their miso soup, edamame, red snapper nigiri, James Tower roll, unagi handroll, sumonomo with crab and octopus, gyoza, soft shell crab, agedashi tofu, dragon deluxe roll, sumonomo with shrimp, Bono roll, Mirey roll, and Habanero roll. We've also enjoyed the different wines they serve. The sushi tastes fresh and always served beautifully. I saw their lunch menu and would like to try the specials then some time. One area of possible improvement would be to add something to help keep us warm in the outdoor area. Highly recommend supporting this business.

I went here a few days ago and saw that the place was relatively new since there was no one but me and my friends. The only criticism I have is the way the menu is made and the staff. The menu is paper ripped up and stained. To me it seems nasty and becomes an eye sore. The waiter was a bit awkward, didn't seem to have much enthusiasm or charisma. Other than that I did really like the atmosphere. The bar was very well thought out, creative and has a bit of high class fun with the colors. The lay out of the entire restaurant had nice esthetics. The food was good I really enjoyed the shrimp and rice along with the sushi rolls. Very affordable prices, not like other sushi restaurants that charge alot. Wasn't disappointed, overall satisfied.

  • Carol Gutierrez

I ordered Alex sushi, rainbow and tuna sashimi, the rolls are good, average sushi. The tap water had a funky tasting. In addition the waitress maybe was her first day because was texting on her phone the whole time, super slow and she didn’t even notice I accidentally spill soy sauce which I had to clean up by myself. The menu is extensive and it was like a “magazine” without the prices. Undoubtedly it was funny because I had to see the online menu to find the prices and that “magazine” to clarify what was the rolls made of…

Very unprofessional and rude manager. Insinuates I’m lying and going back and forth with me when I just try to explain that some sauces aren’t available on the delivery menu. Even goes out of his way to download the app on his phone just to try to prove me wrong even after I WATCHED HIM scroll through the tablet visibly seeing that they aren’t available. Meanwhile I’m just waiting watching him get frustrated that they aren’t there like I said. On my way out, he YELLS “APPARENTLY the sauces aren’t available” - ? Shame bc I order here every week but evidently being right is more important than customer retention!!!

This used to be my favorite Japanese restaurant. Have been going here since they started but last night, everything was awful. Sevice was the worst. Servers kept hiding in the kitchen. Our server was nowhere to be found. We asked one server ‘s help and with disappointment, she said she is not our server but will follow-up our order. The sukiyaki was too sweet and tempura was dumped in a plate. Portions were not as generous as before. My impression about this place has totally changed.

We've had the same server twice, she never disappoints! Amazing customer service! The sushi is amazing, this place is the best sushi place I've been to in San Antonio, the cooks/preps are amazing at what they do, they are fast and you can tell they take pride in their food. In other sushi places, we always have to wait about 45 mins for our food, but in this place we wait maybe 10 mins most. The place is very elegant and the sushi prices are great! Great job to this team! Can't wait for San Antonio to open up restaurants again, cause this is where I will head to!

Have been pretty regular here since last 4 months. Always stick to my chirashi bowl and they never disappoint. They lose one star because my last visit was not really like my earlier other ones. The salmon roe was not fresh and was actually spoilt. I took it out and put it aside and told the server to let the chef know. What I found little bit weird was that server just took it back without apologizing or even bringing in a fresh replacement. May be it was just one off incidence and I hope it is not repeated but it did leave me with a funny feeling.

Soooooooo, I was recommended this place by a few of my friends because I'm a sushi addict. Personally, I like my main sushi place alot better than here. Mainly because the sashimi really just wasn't all that good compared to the price:/ also thet have all these speciality rolls but not very much traditional stuff. The atmosphere also feels way too open. I still have this place three starts because I know I'm Insanely nit picky when it comes to my sushi. My husband and I still had a good visit here and the service was nice also.

  • Steven B

Great food, equally great service, and laid back ambiance. My wife and I were looking for a quiet place to enjoy dinner and be able to talk (we have kids). The first place we went just down the road was SO loud, it defeated the purpose of us going out. Regrettably, but thankfully, we left before ordering. After a short drive down Stone Oak, we pulled up to Sushi Seven and was welcomed warmly, were sat down directly, and served quickly, but never rushed. Thanks Sushi Seven for making two parents' night-out a relaxing success!

  • Samantha Broughton

I loved the variety of sushi and other meals! The sushi was fresh and flavorful. The cheese kushiage was amazing and the dipping sauce was superb! The sushi seven roll was surprising and the best thing on the table! I loved Tampico on top! My husband had the Ole roll with crawfish and it had a ton of flavor and was spicy (good thing for my husband!). Definitely will be back to try other options on the menu!

What an enjoyable experience! Sat at the sushi bar for dinner with a friend who is somewhat new to sushi. The chefs were engaging, knowledgeable, and fun! My friend enjoyed the experience, mentioning not feeling intimidated after expecting to feel that way a bit. The sushi was fresh and the rolls amazing!! I do wish they would have provided prices on the menu as it would have saved a bit of a surprise when the check arrived.

I had the sushi seven roll which is tempura since I was really in the mood for tempura. I think I could come back here a lot because they have such a good menu and it was really hard to choose since everything sounded good. The pic is Oreo Tempura, which was dope. I was in the the mood for fried Oreos already since the rodeo is in town and I saw this and wanted only desserts. I also got cheesecake sushi. I’m not good at pics so I’m sorry the cheesecake sushi isn’t the best pic. You should just try it.

  • Levi Iguana

Very good sushi, great atmosphere! I watched a waiter help a woman to the restroom (she had seriously impaired vision), for no benefit to himself. This place has never been crowded when I've gone, and it's beautiful inside. I've yet to sit at the bar, but it does look like you'll be able to see the sushi chefs when they are making your food. The sushi itself, incredible. One of the best, if not the best places in San Antonio for sushi. The meat melts in your mouth, like it should. Highly recommended.

  • iveeg s

Sushi Seven was okay.Sushi was presented beautifully but my sushi just fell apart when I picked it up with my chop sticks. It was good but, I couldn't truly enjoy it. I had to ask for a fork. I might give them another try soon. Friend had some Fried rice with Shrimp and that was delicious! She also had a California roll and hers was not falling apart. I had a mess going on on my side of the table, couldn't even try to pick it up with my hands. I give this place yummy faces

3.5 out of 5. Not terrible but not great. Service was good. Staff making sushi only sometimes wore gloves. Sometime used bare hands. Only one bathroom for men and one bathroom for women. Restroom was clean. Food was good; prices fit the quality of food. You'll spend about $11-$16 per roll. Good selection in terms of number but wished to see more variety (e.g. eel options, crab, etc.). I wouldn't plan on making a visit back but wouldn't be opposed to if invited there.

As a sushi nut and fanatic...call me a sushi faNUTic, I've found a variety of ways that sushi can be good. Styles vary, but overall, I judge based on 5 things: quality of the rice, the staff, the meats and fishies, the smells of the restaurant, and pricing. This place is pricey, but I must have had a good chef the night I went because they knocked everything out of the park.

Just walked in to try Sushi Seven since Sushi Express is closed on Monday’s. Order drinks and the waiter never came back after 10 minutes! He was working to go orders and must have forgotten about us. Only three tables sitting. Left and went to Sushi Zushi. I would not recommend this place based on the bad service. Sushi Zushi is packed and we already have waters and our appetizer after 5 minutes. Learned my lesson (again!) about trying new places.

  • T K

I called to online order at 6 pm and the person on the phone said 30 min. We showed up to pick up and after we paid the worker inform that they haven’t even start making my foods. So I waited an hour, instead of telling me that before I pay, so I could cancel my order and go somewhere else. There were people at the restaurant who came in to dine in and got their food right away while waiting. This place need to get their orders in check.

I spent $100 on some of the worst sushi ever. The tuna probobly came out of a can. It was inedible. I have been eating sushi for 40 years and I don't know how this place stays in business. I guess a lot of newbies that have no concept of what real Sushi is. Frankly the sushi at HEB is Head and Shoulders above this place for quarter of the price. Don't waste your time and money.

My mom and I love this place. However, sadly I think today was our last time to go there. The sushi is still great, but their seating is just no good. Little round circle metal cafe' chairs just don't cut it for comfort. And their bench chairs need new support to them. All you feel is the wood frame under your thighs when you try to sit there. We'll return if they every get more comfortable seating. Their sushi really is good.

  • James Toole

First... the waitresses were wonderful! We were very well attended to and they were genuinely joyful. Otherwise it wasn't any good. The salmon skin in the handroll was so hard it cut my wife's mouth. We ordered the scallops "sliced thin" and got a plate of minced scallop meat - MINCED. The other food we got ranged from mediocre to good. Service - Five Stars Food - Two Stars Atmosphere - Two Stars Presentation - Three Stars

I went yesterday and everything was delicious but in my opinion the fried rice wasn’t fried correctly. It didn’t taste like fried rice. I forgot to take a picture of it. The appetizers and the rolls were pretty good. We order the calamari, the soft shell crab, the habanero and Tokyo roll.

Overall it was a decent sushi experience, but not amazing. I don't love the fact that they mix some Mexican flavors with the sushi, and it's not very flavorful fish. Don't get me wrong, none of it was bad, but I'm used to very fresh and tasty sushi, and this was not on pare with what I'm used to. Overall for San Antonio is probably very good, but I shall continue my quest to find good sushi here.

  • cj94

Service is SO SLOW here, like ridiculously slow. I’m not sure if this was the waitress’s first day or if she just kept forgetting about our table. Took 25mins to order. Never got my drink refilled after asking, took another 20 mins for her to bring the check, and another 15 to pick the check back up. I will never dine in again but will continue to order through Ubereats.

This is my favorite sushi place in town! I tried this place by accident for lunch one day at work and I was instantly hooked. The fish is so fresh and all of the rolls I've had have a TON of flavor packed in. I order the James Tower Roll every time I eat there (which I at least once to twice a week) and I'm still not tired of it. If you haven't been here yet, go now! You won't be disappointed

  • Elizabeth R

$40 wasted So disgusting! The fish was clearly past it’s prime (very slimy and strong gross smell), the avocado was brown/mushy, and even the cream cheese in the caterpillar roll tasted expired? Took one bite and just threw it all away it was actually the grossest sushi I’ve ever had …. Also laughable portions for sashimi

My favorite sushi place in San Antonio. Service: Perla is the perfect example of a 5 service. Restaurant: Minimalist and cozy at the same time. Patio is very nice Food: I ordered the Agedashi Tofu (appetizer), Crispy Tuna Roll*, and Cheesecake Roll* (dessert) & Espresso coffee. Everything was SUPERB! You can't go wrong with this restaurant. *Pictures below

I always order sushi here because it’s down the street from my house. The wait time they quote is never right, they’ll tell you 30 min but you end up waiting 50 minutes. Last night I waited forever and the sushi quality was terrible, brown avocados were used and tasted mushy, and the sushi fell apart. I spend too much money here for poor quality. I’m done with them.

  • Michael Briggs

Some of the best sushi I've had in Texas. I lived in Japan a number of years and this place is top notch. Great prices too! If you love sushi, and you've not been to Sushi Seven, you're missing out. The Teka Maki is my favorite. Also a surprisingly wide selection of Sake ranging from sweet to dry. Warmed house sake isn't bad either. Definitely my go to for Sushi.

  • JP Griffin

We did not come for the sushi, so that will make a difference; however, we have mixed feelings. The soup was good and the beef teriyaki, as well. You will definitely be paying for the ambiance, and not the food. The teriyaki beef was flavorful but it was about 80% rice and a thin layer of beef. With the Yakitori is only $5 and is not enough for a meal.

  • In My Opinion

It was ok. Nothing spectacular but good enough to deserve another try. The bento box I would definitely skip next time and order rolls instead. The Green Mussels were better than expected and had a really nice heat to them. Service was good and place was nice and clean.

Sushi Seven has a small outdoor eating area and nice indoor dining I hope to enjoy. In the meantime - I appreciate the consistent, great quality and good pricing for their big menu! Appetizers, traditional sushi, "awesome" rolls, poke bowls, and katsu don are a few of the things I've ordered from here for takeaway. Great sushi restaurant!

  • Lacy Hardin

We ordered off of Uber Eats and were blown away! I am a bit picky with Japanese restaurants since I was born in Okinawa. But my husband and I decided to give it a go. The Katsu Don was amazing! And my husband tried some Crawfish balls and a sushi roll and is was great, spicy, but really good! We definitely will be repeat customers.

I came her for my refeed meal and I was extremely excited about this place....I was not disappointed at all. I had 3 rolls of sushi and each was unique and amazing. I thought I was probably gonna go broke, but it was surprisingly reasonable. I will definitely come back to Sushi Seven, and I highly recommend visiting this place!

  • Carlos Quiroz (TopChulo)

Great service very clean and nice appearance inside, the sushi and sashimi were fresh and tasted wonderful the pieces of nigiri were huge and tasted fresh that's important in any sushi restaurant, by far the best I've had and I've been to almost every sushi spot in town, will definitely be back this is my new sushi spot.

Absolutely Awesome Sushi! This coming from very picky sushi eaters. Everything was extremely fresh. We opted for delivery and the service was quick and the delivery guy was friendly. The edamame was the best I've had and the miso soup was hot and delicious. We will definitely order here again. You should too!

Having eaten a variety of sushi at several restaurants in town, I have to say Sushi Seven is my favorite. Always fresh, not to mention the huge variety they have for you to choose from. My two go-to rolls are the James Tower roll and the Rainbow roll. Give them a try--you won't be disappointed. …

  • Aleksandra Solovyenko

Tempura roll - awful. The only thing that is tempura in there is a super small piece of shrimp. Is there any sense to call it “tempura”?? I cannot feel it and feel anything else except rice. So this roll is actually just rice. Disappointed, because rating is good and I hoped to get some tasty food.

Yesssssssss! First sushi place ive visited since moving from Seattle a few months back. Decided to visit at the recommendation of a co-worker. I had the Luis roll. It was fresh, delicious and a whole hell of a lot of roll for the price. Service was fast....definitely would eat here again.

  • Walter Rosenfeld

Sushi was delicious, but - so much rice! I ended up breaking half of or off. Staff was very nice. No sushi bar?! The side salad was a good portion but the dressing provided cover a third of it. Miso soup was loaded with green onions and not much tofu. Still - that yellowtail - mmm!

  • Garrett Neuman

Grabbed lunch here and was really happy with it. Friends had suggested this place and they were right! Food was really good, salad was tasty, potstickers were great. Sushi rolls were classic, really enjoyed the whole meal. Staff was very helpful, attentive and knew the menu well.

  • Jessi Gower

Go at lunch on a weekday! It wasn't busy at all and prices are great then. I got the teriyaki chicken bento box-- it was delicious! Every single thing they served me looked and tasted perfect. Everyone at my table liked what they ordered. I craved it for days afterward.

  • Daniel Rodriguez

I placed an order here. I arrived and they told me they were still preparing my order. 20 minutes go by so I ask a different employee the status. She comes back to tell me 15-20. They hadn’t even started preparing the order. At least she was honest about that. Terrible.

  • spyronos

Really good sushi and selection. Waitstaff was friendly. Was very impressed with the plating. The indoor is comfortable and chic. The little outdoor area is nice and in quite enjoyed it out there. Appetizers are varied and the menu is reasonably priced for the menu.

They had alot of offerings with cream cheese. You can get anything without it but still. The price was good, the restaurant was very warm, almost uncomfortable. High ceilings. The waitress was new and didn't know the menu. Just didn't get a good vibe. Not very busy.

  • Lauren Jozwiak

Staff said there were no nuts in the food ordered, when there were in fact peanuts and the consumer had a life threatening peanut allergy. Unacceptable service.

Ordered a nigiri sampler then realized it needed to be sashimi. I called to correct my order two minutes later and told I was charged for both orders but the first was going to be thrown away. They would not allow a correction and charged me for two orders.

Consistently excellent quality for last several years. I've ordered from Sushi Seven close to or above 50 times the last 5 years and have always been happy with my food. I've mostly picked up for take out but when I've dined in the service is always superb.

Located in a very convenient part of Stone Oak& next to my favorite Thai restaurant “Thai Chili”(review). Sushi Seven offers some of the freshest sushi in San Antonio. I absolutely love it here. I know I’m always welcomed here and won’t ever be locked out.

  • Mr. C.

Light and cozy atmosphere. Great service. Large menu. The calamari is excellent and good portion as a starter. The Luis Roll is clean and tasty! Will make this a regular stop!

Ordered their food through ubereats and it was delicious. The family plate slash tray was fabulous with lots of food on it. I really love the edamame. Really impressed by the prices and I might not be going back to the grocery store ever for sushi.

  • D Griffin

Our favorite was the Marilyn Monroll! We also had Bono and Habanero. They were delicious. We got the jalapeno appetizer which was pretty good. Service was good, not fast, but not too slow until it came time for the check. It has a cool atmosphere.

  • S. McNair

Decor is what you'd expect in Stone Oak area, but the food was surprisingly average. Our server also forgot to put in part of our order. I had high expectations for this place based on other reviews. In my opinion, it didn't live up to the hype.

  • Richard Hong

The staff was friendly, including the server that I had. My only quip was the decor but it didn’t affect my experience overall. They have tall ceilings that I wish they utilized better and some of the decor seemed lackluster.

Place is dull food is nothing special the roll i ordered i didnt even eat it tasted like someone poured lemon all over it very sour did not enjoy the food. Sake however was a good price and thru had a good variety of beer

  • Emmanuel Michaelides

I always enjoy my meals here and appreciate that the staff is mindful of my often hectic schedule. I also appreciate the wide variation on "Special" rolls but would like to see more of the basic/common rolls on the menu.

  • Melissa Chateau

Super yummy sushi lots of choices for rolls. Both times we've been there it was slow, but the UberEats deliveries kept rolling out the door every few minutes. Highly recommend. Great service and cute clean restaurant.

  • Jose Alvarez

Every time we come back it just reinforces what we already know. This is hands-down our favorite sushi place in the area. It's never crowded and the food is always fresh! Very reasonably priced for the portions too.

  • KIM WILLIAMS

Service here is lousy. These guys are So slow. She told me my order was coming up, 13 minutes later she tell me another ten what the hell. Let's see how long I end up waiting. And sad part the place isn't even full

Loved the food, the place, the people, they were very courteous and didn't mind the myriad of questions about the different plates, all in all I really liked it and will go there again with friends and family …

The sushi is amazing !! It was fresh and flavorful , totally worth the price . I got the San Antoninon roll and my boyfriend got the James Tower roll with spicy tuna . Some of the best sushi I've ever tasted .

  • Dwight Moody

I thought this place was nice. We went at 12:30pm on Saturday when they first opened and the service was quick. The spicy tuna roll, a staple for me, was a bit deflated but the San Antonio roll was excellent.

  • Tyler Kelly

We tried three different rolls and they were just ok. The place was clean and service was good, but we won’t go back.

Out of the dozen times we have gone not once have we received poor service or bad tasting food. Consistency is one thing I look for, and this place has it. Great atmosphere and not overcrowded.

  • Nicole Farbaniec

Ordered a salmon Don, nigiri and a roll. Fish did not taste fresh, I ended up having to throw it away because I couldn’t handle the taste.

It is a good place for sushi. It is not crowded or overrated like others around Stone Oak. My sole complain is about illumination, at 7 pm it was quite dark for reading the extense menu.

  • Octavio Chavez Leal

Love this place.. I have been here several times and I have never been able to try the poblano sushi, they are always out of it. Also Please make a menu with pictures.. thats a must!!!

  • laurie ross

Food was good. Service was extremely slow. I finally had to go up and ask if I could pay because we needed to go . Maybe the guy was new to food service. He just kept walking past us.

Enjoyed the attentive service and very helpful staff. The sushi was very tasty and the hot tea was perfect for a cold night. The cost was not too much for 4 dinners. We will be back.

  • Jose Matos

Been dining in at this restaurant for years and just recently discovered that they have added rotten fish to the menu! Nicely done, you guys! You just ruined the Alex roll for me ;)

  • jhordan mike

Great service and very knowledgeable chefs Prices are very reasonable and delicately done Chef Danny and his crew made the whole experience a delicious and wonderful day …

Delicious sushi at decent prices! This is hands down my favorite place to get sushi in San Antonio. The location is convenient, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious!

  • Michael Hall

Great bang for the buck. When I first saw the prices I was concerned that the rolls were over-priced. But when they brought them out they were massive. Extremely tasty as well.

The moment you walk in you know you’re about to have some great sushi and the moment you check yelp and you find out you get a free miso soup life is complete at that moment.

It was a last minute decision to turn our take out order into a dine in order, but the staff was GREAT about it. The food was fresh, AMAZING, and DELICIOUS. Highly recommend

Wanted to go to a different Sushi spot, went to Sushi Seven and really enjoyed the sushi. We ended up taking a to-go box...the sushi was very good the next day too!

  • Alysha Adames

TRY THE MONKEY ROLL. Recently moved away from the area and I can't express how much I miss the monkey roll. Great sushi, good price, and whi doesn't love delivery!

I LOVED the sushi here. I LOVE a good crunchy roll and this sushi hit just the right spot. Yum yum! The scenery is nice. It is a very modern aesthetic. …

It was My first time visiting Sushi Seven, but it has become one of My favorite places. I will definitely be returning in the near future!! #SweepstakesEntry

  • Victoria

Probably the best sushi I have ever had- between Chicago, Katy and Houston. Not too pricey either- especially since the rolls are huge. Definitely worth it.
