I HIGHLY recommend you hire Symmetry Electric! To make a long story short, we emailed about 12 electrical companies explaining work that needed to be completed on our home and to get some quotes. Samuel from Symmetry Electric was the only company that picked up the phone to give us a call to thoroughly explain what needed to be done. Once we made the decision to proceed, he was quick to fit us in his schedule. Him and his colleague showed up on time for our appointment, they were both incredibly friendly and professional during their visit, they completed the work requested efficiently, and all for a great price! We also required an ESA inspector to come to our home afterwards for an inspection. Samuel and his team coordinated this on our behalf and we had an appointment booked within 2 days! After a power outage a couple of months ago, i finally decided to have a generator transfer switch installed. I contacted Symmetry Electric to get a quote. I am glad I did. Samuel responded promptly and, with the pictures of my circuit panel, and its surrounding, he provided a quote with breakdowns of labor and materials. For someone like me who has zero knowledge of electrics, Samuel's detailed quote and explanations were greatly appreciated. Samuel arrived today as scheduled. He was sincere and courteous. He took the time to explain what he was doing. He did a great job. Everything installed was nice and neat. The crash course he gave me on how to operate the generator and the transfer switch was also much appreciated. I am glad to have found this company. I will definitely call Symmetry again the next time I need an electrician.

Great service from Symmetry Electric! During the large Ottawa storm, we lost power when the line from the Hydro pole to our house was damaged, including the service mast and pipe. Hydro Ottawa could not connect us until it was repaired by an electrician. This was a Sunday evening we found this out, after being without power for over a week. After calling a handful of electrical companies, Samuel at Symmetry got back to us that very same Sunday night! They arrived at our house first thing Monday morning, made an assessment and prepared a quote. After getting the required okay from Hydro (which took a day) they arrived first thing Wed morning and completed the entire job in one day. Outstanding work, excellent communication, and all done very promptly. Highly recommended!

You know you found the right people when you see them working as if it was their house. We decided to reach out to Symmetry Electric after reading the Google reviews and they live up to their reputation. We knew we wanted to do business with them after the initial visit where they shared their observations, provided sound advice and helped me decide on outstanding items. They are professional, responsive, organized, courteous, knowledgeable, thorough, clean up after themselves, and I could go on. They coordinated the inspection and delivered the certificate promptly after completing the work. Bonus: Samuel speaks French, and they recycle. We have already booked them for other projects. We found our electricians.

The best electricians I've contracted, period. The team showed up in time and with all the tools needed to fulfill the job, they were also extremely professional, very knowledgeable and very understanding. They walked us through the whole process, worked to ensure it was done to a high standard and finished the job in time, on budget and while explaining all the work that was done and their professional recommendations. Overall it was a joy to have them assist with our electrical work and me and my family are going to definitely call them again for any other issues or upgrades down the line. We definitely would recommend Symmetry Electric!! I had an issue with our outlet while my husband was away. I didn't know if it was an emergency issue or what I should do. I found Symmetry Electric through a Google search and gave them a call. I'm not sure who I was speaking with (terrible with names!), but he was so kind and took the time to talk to me and advise on what to do while waiting to hear from my husband. We made an appointment with Symmetry a couple of days later and received quick service. Five stars!! Very happy with our service! Samuel's quote was competitive with two others but his was the most practical when we needed to upgrade to a 200A service. This involved removing a feeder that hugged the basement joists which he suggested moving outside. From coordinating with Hydro-Ottawa to sorting the conduit work outside and the final transplanting of circuits to a new panel, everything fell into place well under Samuel's planning. He and his associate were courteous, professional, and did a good job cleaning up. It's hard to find a trade you feel confident with; Symmetry Electric is one that will be our only choice for any other work and for recommendations.

Samuel did great work, was courteous and took the time to explain what he was doing. It started from I contacted Symmetry Electric to get a quote. With the pictures I provided, Samuel provided a quote with explanation of what would be done and why. Where others had failed to respond to my queries because my job was too small, Symmetry Electric got the job done. Even more fantastic, when my ceiling fan was installed by the Lowes sud-contractor, I was told it couldn’t be connected to my light switch. Not true as proved by Samuel. It so great to have found a small company that cares about doing a good job and meeting customers needs.

Samuel helped me with installation of a new sauna in our backyard. He was quick to respond to my initial query and came back with a more competitive rate than the other electricians I requested quotes from. He was professional, reliable and a pleasure do deal with as he took care of all aspects of the job, from the necessary supplies and inspection by the ESA to the extra support with finding a couple of glitches elsewhere in the house. I have no qualms about giving him a five star rating and will definitely call again the next time I need electrical work done.

Samuel arrived on time, friendly and ready to go. I had him install 4 light fixtures and talked about options for adding outlets in various places. During his visit my smoke detector went off and he offered to replace the battery since he was here and had a ladder. He was friendly and efficient, he was in and out in about an hour and that's with small talk about lights and outlets. I'll have him back to add outlets as soon as I decide which ones I really want. I hired this company to install a 5000W heater in my garage. I supplied the heater and they did the rest. They arrived on time, and the outcome far exceeded my expectations. Earlier this week I had an excellent onsite experience with Symmetry Electric. Prior to that, even arranging for the visit and getting and estimate from Samuel was quick and easy. I had some outside and inside work done - both were efficient and very well done. And, it was all within the estimate provided. I was told that I could reach out if any questions came up and he'd be more than happy to help. I recommend Symmetry highly and will certainly use them again !

We needed a list of items checked/done for our house and Samuel was able to complete them all in just under 2 hours with no issues or surprises. He was very efficient and professional, and took time to explain everything he was doing. We are very pleased with the service, and the cost was not overly expensive and very fair. During the holidays I blew a fuse and lost power in part of my house. I tried to reset the fuse panel but no luck. Every electrician I called was busy and was told it would be days before one could come out. Then I called Symmetry and Samuel, who was recoving from a cold, patiently guided me through reresetting the panel. Just to say that ther wonderful and are tremendously supportive.

Everything was perfect, from the consultations prior to the work, to the work itself. He was prompt, very courteous, and a total pleasure to have in our home.
