TK in full term is Tong Kee and their famous old name was Tong Kee Brothers which very popular among community, a very traditional Chinese pastry shop. They maintain good traditional Chinese pastry yet they also come out with many new varieties of westerns bakeries such as bread, cakes and cookies. This is one of the oldest Chinese pastry shop in KL and this is the first TK bakery in Malaysia. They offer traditional Chinese pastry such as Signature Egg Tarts options in crispy tart skin or butter tart skin (蛋挞, 可选酥皮或饼皮), Siew Pao (something like baked pastry with BBQ pork filling 烧包), Lo Po Pastry (often being called as Loh Poh Beng 老婆饼 which filling with adding minter melon), Chicken Floss Lotus pastry (often called as Lean Yong Kok 莲蓉角), Salted Egg Sou (咸蛋酥), Meat Puff (roasted pork puff 叉烧酥), Almond Tart (杏仁塔), Coconut Tart (椰丝塔), Chicken Pie (鸡肉派), Curry Puff (咖哩角), Kaya Puff (咖央角) and variety of buns, birthday cakes, log cakes, swiss rolls and many more. They also sell hamper with their products during festive seasons. They also offer traditional wedding biscuits based on order basis. Carpark lot here very limited as the area here is old city planning development during Kuala Lumpur urbanization. DBKL and police are frequently patrol on this area and ensure the safety. Advisable park with walking distance. Do ensure there's someone in car waiting if needed stop for awhile. Make sure leave a contact number if no one wait inside the car as the carpark lots here availability very short and park by another vehicle. Watch out bird droppings from your vehicle and on you head because many pigeons flying around. Not advisable to walk on street during night time especially alone as this area increase many foreign comers who may not legal. Beggers and homeless people are easily found this area.

Bought RM500 over of Mooncake for company clients under HSBC 20% discount with one bill and then buy another RM200 for personal family usage. Splitting the bill is because of company claim. End up cashier Young Mee Foong said the RM500 entitle HSBC 20% discount while personal one cannot cause need 3 boxes and above. What can I say ..... buying at the same day same time just one bill follow with another. At the cashier counter making me so embarrassing ... will not go and purchase mooncake again in TK bakery. There are many choices in the market and TK should not be one of my consideration. Very bad buying experience.

Ever since they started the membership, paying wih their e-wallet and the b1f1 egg tarts on every 1st of the month, their customer service especially the young girl at the counters has been increasingly rude and really disrespectful. Most customers are not the most tech savvy and sometimes we arent really familir with the conditions to your primotion, this cashier girl would explain in a loud and annoyed voice and they would skip ahead of other customers, the least she could do was to speak in a courteously.

Fell in love with its egg tart since 1989 Located at Lorong Brunei 3, Pudu. The bakery accept online order via app foodpanda and GrabFood but the egg tart is the hot item, sold out all the time. This place has a good smell of all fresh from oven bakes. Recommended: Egg tart, cheese stick, butter bun, double golden and Birtday cakes. Food: Delicious and fresh Price: Moderate. No service charge nor Tax Service: Friendly Cleanliness: 4 stars Parking: Paid parking lot outside the bakery. Hard to find one.

I bought cake through Grab and put remark to cut the cake for me, but never do.. now I quarantine at home, and my house got no knife... Never care about the request, if cannot do it should tell me also... Since when the service become so bad? I have supporting your shop for 20 years, now the food quality dropped, service also dropped, too disappointed... I hope I can give 0 star if possible.

Clean and bright environment, friendly and helpful staff. Contact-less payment is a breeze through their app. Finding a car park can sometimes be difficult, especially during weekdays. Egg tarts are usually sold out about 5pm (or at least when I get there about 5pm). Sold out even earlier during their promo day. Siew Pau also ok Egg tarts best to be eaten ASAP; a day after purchase at most

Waste of time. TK cashier priorities pushing for memberships and PUT CUSTOMERS ON HOLD in queue. Keep forcing customer to register for member, holding the line with everyone registering via phone. They just blatantly ignore customers who are here to purchase the baked goods. One counter open only on peak hours on a Sunday morning.

Must visit store where this is the store that have the most consistent quality for TK bakery chain. You may get upset sometimes as other outlet may make mistake, but if same product from this store not suit you, this mean that is the standard taste for all outlets and you'll know what to choose in future :)

Cute little bakery just before Pudu Plaza. Reminded me of BreadTalk shops in Sri Lanka, and they also have similar baked goods. Had to try the egg tart that I noticed a lot of small street stalls sell around KL. The pastry is so flaky and melts in the mouth and the eggy custard filling is just sweet enough.

  • Pearlyn Chew

Tried their signature egg tarts and siew bao. The pastry crust is really well done and enjoyable, but I personally found the egg custard too sweet and the char siew filling too minced. Worth trying and good enough to fulfill a quick craving :) Siew bao is RM3 for one and egg tart is RM2.80 for one.

Good pastry. Shop clean and staff keeps very good hygiene. Some staff not that friendly, mostly attent are aunties so understood la. Can be improve. I have went quite numbers of TK outlets. All about the same. Famous are the tarts, cakes and bread. Price ok above average. $$$$/$$$$$

Despite being in the business for so long (I believe they are celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2020), the establishment feels modern especially in the area it's located at. They are of course famous for their egg tarts but they also have a wide selection of baked goods as well.

  • CTFong Lee

Been buying their pastries since they were @ their old shop not far frm this new premises. Lately all their products have gone way too sweet! Egg tarts, paper wrapped sponge cakes etc. Prices are much higher than others too. Staff @ their Pudu main shop are rude.

Fresh local neighbourhood bakery chain. They are fmous for the egg tarts with lard. But other bread and biscuits are tasty too. Nothing fancy just one of the usual bread shop. Pricing range ok. You can find quite a choice for cakes too.

  • Pang Kae Jiun

One of the best egg tart in town. Hardly go wrong with that. Troublesome car park, locate in a road that seamlessly double park! Good value for money for the egg tarts. Others bakery not bad, but can be better both in quality and price.

If you heard the story of Nokia then tk bakery would follow its footsteps. The once famous egg tart here can't compete with new kopitam shops I.e oriental kopi, foo heng, yitcha kaw kaw. The bread here is sub par and pricey.

  • Yeat Lum Cheah

The shop was getting worse and worse. They used to be a good bakery in the town and just getting worse in the recent years. Bad service as well. And do not use their membership and top up any money on it. Just use cash!

  • Javill Kong

Always my fav bakery shop! The staffs are friendly in this branch, the cleanliness & lightness of shop is good! They have many special flavors of breads or desserts, their egg tarts & siew bao are nice also!

A bakery stop for an early breakfast to get. From buns, pastries, cakes and many more to choose from!! I tried their limited edition of their soursop egg tart!! No regrets for trying such a tart! You must try it!!

  • Althea Yeo

Not too bad :) However, not for those who dislike ginger. It's not too big a deal but the pastry-skin egg tart has a tad bit ginger taste to it. If you prefer smth more buttery, go for the cookie-skin one instead!

  • L

One of the best egg tarts in my list. However, the price getting expensive now and not more value for money. Btw, this place no easier to find a parking and have to spend some time to look for it.

Stomach was full so only tried their egg tarts. They were so good! The crust was crisp and the custard egg flavourful and delicious, even with a full stomach.

  • Heather Tan

Only one cashier so always need to queue. Buy three and above has 20% discount for sliced cake. Taste is alright not too great and not too bad either

  • Radzi Melan

Tasty treat awaits. Variety of tasty treats to cater your pallets. A short drive from city centre although funding a parking could be a challenge.

  • nicholasclient

The quality dropped and they just focus on the membership things and keep asking you top up. Advise here is that do not top up and just use cash.

This bakery is quite spacious and clean. It was crowded when we were there on 1/5. The sweet potato buns and walnut raisin bread are very good.
