I went into TK Maxx because I was looking for a specific item of clothing. Even though they had quite a bunch and were doing some kind of sales, I didn't find what I wanted. So it wasn't really a shopping experience like that. The staff were kind enough to answer my queries, if not all that helpful in directing one to the exact line where you ought to find the particular item. They just point you in a general direction, like they can't wait to get rid of you. Maybe a little more workers and less work load would have made them more agreeable. I spent a considerable amount of time doing the ultimate search for this item and came up with nothing. Time that could have been saved if someone had just been kind enough to look at an inventory and told me upfront that they don't have that item of clothing in my preferred colour or size.

We’re regular customers here and I’ve come in at 6:55pm today (Saturday 3rd) knowing the store closes at 7 because I wanted a last minute wrapping paper. This is our local store where we’ve shopped since it opened and some young chap (supposedly) security obstructed us (my child & I) from entering even though I told him I knew where I wanted to go and quickly get the item. Surely they should be able to tell a genuine request from a waste of time AND the store hadn’t closed then. I do hope Google will update the closing time so that people like myself don’t get shooed off by some staff member. Very disappointed with the store.

Wheelchair accessible with disabled parking close by. The store was well stocked with a variety and assortment of value items. Staff were friendly and i witnessed them going round sanitising areas around the store. Sanitising items were readily available. Pleasant shopping experience with some decent items available for purchasing. One word of warning though, if you do come across something you really like, pick it up because if you don't, someone else will and you'll kick yourself when you go back to get it and someone else has beaten you to it

Do not use click and collect from this store. After calling to check they'd received my order I went to collect it but it couldn't be located. I was then told a story by the manager of how he thinks he remembered it being delivered without my details on and all three items were smashed. I find that very hard to believe as I'd previously order one of the items which came in polystyrene in its own box making difficult to be smashed and I think my order was either collected by someone else or resold in the store.

Always a fun place to explore if you want to kill a few hours. The obligatory staircases to get to the home and mens section then scanning your eyes over the clutter of things hoping to find the needle in the haystack so to speak. They have a great range of ties if youre into that, also some good notebooks. Defintely more packed with goods than other tkmaxxs from experience. A literal treasure trove to get digging into.

Went in today, clothes was on the wrong sized hangers which makes it difficult to quickly search through the variety of clothing on the racks Not many people around to help Tags are missing off certain items so I can't see prices unless I take to checkout and get price check and I need to queue to do this with a possibility of it being overpriced meaning I need to go look for alternative and queue again

Lots to look at in this massive store, sometimes get weird items in the gift section. Clothes are top quality and again get some strange looking gear. Shoes are usually top quality and price quite good, but are usually snapped up pretty quickly as only come in in one or two sizes. Overall, nice walk round if only just to browse Happy shopping.

This is my opinion only about the first floor, the clothes are very diverse and beautiful, and you can buy good clothes at a reasonable price, but the shoes are generally of very low quality and ugly, and some of them have high price tags due to their low quality.The ventilation at the end of the store and changing rooms is very, very poor.

The store in the Birmingham City centre is far better and bigger too. Staff are friendly but not forthcoming. Always a good deal to be found if you have the time to look. Avoid this area or store at peak times or weekends, it will take you a long time to enter it and even longer trying to leave the poorly designed car park.

Good location, lots of parking. This store has a good homeware range and shoes and bag section. Would recommend as store is clean and well arranged. Staff always seem to be available to help and quick till checkout process. There are other shops to checkout in this same retail park so good for buying a range of products.

We'll to expensive. Sports direct next door and prices cheaper else where. Not for me. Original price is when first came out, then there price is still nearly double sports shops! Why go... But my son seen headset for console which was cheap so may pop bk for that unless Argos or game in sports direct has better.

What started as a very good store has slowly become so shoddy in the way cloths are displayed , the shoe counter is near non existent, the clothes racks have all the appearance of second hand / charity shop assortment , with prices not much different from buying in a major retail store ..

Good for accessories - handbags, scarves, hair jewellery - clothes layout a bit chaotic and a good rummage through the rails is needed both for size and clothing type. Prices about right and if you have the time and patience you just might grab yourself a bargain!

Helpful staff, Assistant at the till helped with my gift cards, which I had as a gift from a friend. I got two items that I needed at a reduced, price. A lady assistant helped me with my purchase of a gift set of 3 Skinny Syrups Christmas box set. Helpful staff.

vast selection of discounted designer items, from clothing to home decor, you'll find incredible deals. The store is well-organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I always leave with great finds and a smile. Highly recommend! Free parking available.

Staff have absolutely zero consideration for customers, as they arse around and are poorly organised and disciplined. This has been observed over many visits, going to stop shopping there. Oh and also the"clearance" items are hardly even reduced...

TK Maxx has an amazing selection of branded and non branded items at really low prices across men's and ladies clothes and accessories and toys and housewares. You have to come back regularly as there is always new stock and the bargains go fast.

Always seem to have a long queue for the checkout but fortunately the staff are efficient and the queue moves fairly quickly. Too many nice things I'd love to buy, not enough money in my account to buy everything I'd like to buy sadly …

Great department store and typically for a TK Maxx you can find some real gems in here for a fraction of the price. So easy to use this place to buy presents as well. Good amount of parking space at the front too.

Good variety of products sold here. Men's, children's, women's, household, body care, shoes and bags. Able to purchase some designer products for affordable prices. Great place to buy gifts from.

I do like TK Maxx, but this one in Selly Oak is not as good as the one in Birmingham city. Seems to me the quality of clothing is poor. So I tend to go into Birmingham store which is really good.

Mostly cosmetics etc. Clothing in plenty & bags. Wanted shoes but all they had were various trainers. Used to get all my shoes at TKMAXX.

Good prices if you're lucky. Store assistants try to be helpful but not extremely knowledgeable about the products...
