"This place is a treat to the senses"
"So "
"Portions are small, over priced, somewhat authenticish"
"Went there with my adult son before a basketball game at Barclay's"
"Had guacamole & chips which was decent then I ordered a quesadilla & it wasn’t worth paying $10 for"
This place is a treat to the senses. The theme of it gives a feel of old new york with a Mexican twist. The watermelon fresca is refreshing. And the avocado tostada, fabulous. The corn esquites, is street style goodness. I loved the idea of having mini coat racks at every table. The atmosphere is simple but iconic. You must try! More
So . . . It's a little cold inside in January, but definitely worth a bit of frost bite (ok, maybe not frost bite but space could be warmer). Food is tasty. Prices are decent. Staff is awesome. What else do you need? Tip: Try the crispy fish taco and carne asada tacos. Agua frescas will not disappoint. Esquites also delish! More
Portions are small, over priced, somewhat authenticish. Best bang for the buck Rice & Beans. Service was great! Drinks good but basic. Perfect place for an Abbess to wait for her Abbott, while looking at the rock collection of a darling young trans boy in Portland. And it was cold as Hades outside. More
Went there with my adult son before a basketball game at Barclay's. We loved the food, service and colorful atmosphere. Fish taco and al pastor were super tasty. The Agua de Pina went perfectly with my tacos. I would definitely go there again, Just a little pricey, but worth it. More
Had guacamole & chips which was decent then I ordered a quesadilla & it wasn’t worth paying $10 for. It looked skimpy. My friend had fish tacos which were really small. We were pretty disappointed.. Had better Mexican food at other restaurants, so don’t waste your money. More
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Carne Asada taco had great flavor but needed more filling. Crispy fish taco was good but too much of the homemade mayo; not a fan of mayo. Homemade guacamole and chips were yummy. Watermelon and Pineapple margaritas were good. More
Had such a good experience here the other day! My friends and I shared a pitcher of Margaritas and some apps. The food was great and the service was outstanding - shoutout to our server Jesus and Gio the manager who were so friendly and attentive More
I think this is definitely my favorite Tacombi location Passed this spot a few weeks ago and the outdoor seating against the building facade looked straight out of the French/Spanish riviera. The food was decent and my favorite dish was
Really disappointed in the decision to remove burritos from the menu, particularly the bean and cheese burrito which was delicious and one of the only menu items I enjoyed as someone who eats mostly vegetarian. There was also no explanation
I came here on a date last night, a Thursday evening. The service was very, very fast. The food was good! I enjoyed the corn, the rice and beans, the lime soda, and the quesadilla (though it was smaller than I anticipayed). The crispy fish
Only reason I wouldn't rate 5 stars is because the value for money here isn't great. I love the food, very delicious and fresh. I love the setup, very cool. Our waitress was the nicest and coolest. She made sure we were happy and satisfied
So, as I sit here contemplating on what to write, I can only be the best that I can be. I worked for TACOMBI as an Operation and Support Manager 2.5 yrs ago. As the manager, I simply was the best all around manager that the entire company
Me and 3 coworkers went to celebrate a promotion I ordered the Carne asada taco it wasn't what I expected 1bite I had to change it for chicken they asked me what was wrong so I told them it didn't taste right after eating the chicken taco
Nice little spot behind The BAM in Downtown, Brooklyn. Great Spanish dishes full of flavor. I would suggest the corn esquites, avocado tostada, and burrito. Wash it all down with a bottle of Lupitos (Lime or Orange will do it for ya). More
I’m still mourning Berlin, the German restaurant that used to be in this spot. But I’m finally willing to give Tacombi its due. The food is solid - it could be more varied - wish they had specials or more kinds of tacos. The hibiscus tea
Everything here is SO good! I’ve been here for breakfast, lunch and for dinner and have never been disappointed. Their breakfast tacos are delicious; just be careful if you order them to go because they tend to leak in the bag lol. The
Underwhelming. Crowded with lots of people. I thought the food must be GOOD...NOPE. Boy was I wrong. My granddaughter got a Quesadilla with 1 Tortilla. Couldn't spare the other? fish taco was only 1 but grateful for that. Couldn't eat
Too die for!!! BEST TACOS IVE HAD IN A LONG TIME!!! Everything was amazing especially the Baja fish tacos next time I’m ordering two more LOL ! Such a cute spot with great ambience definitely check it out you won’t regret it More
The food and service were great. It was a little on the pricey side seeing that the portion sizes were relative to street tacos but flavor profile was on point. The burritos are a must try and
Really good Mexican restaurant here. Food was good, not too expensive for New York standards and the staff was very nice and friendly and gave good recommendations. Will go back again. More
Pretty chill and relaxing place to kick back with friends. Just complete a form with what you want, and the servers will bring everything ordered to your table in a few minutes.
Summary: I've been to four Tacombi locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn and: - The food is terrific at all of them - Good value at every location I've been to
The staff were absolutely wonderful, and the food and drinks were great too! Really great group dining experience with a very comfortable vibe. More
Just stopped for lunch— one of the best spots in the neighborhood! The service is great— our server, Irene, was so sweet and accommodating given
The birria tacos were very good. It was very crunchy, and the consome was very brothy. The el pastor tacos were good, too. More
Forever a fan of this location. If you're an allergic to shrimp definitely try their new shrimp and cheese taco.. More
Stopped by for a quick bite. The host was very kind when I informed them I would like to sit down outside and
Tasty tacos with great service! Carnitas was shredded nicely and the crispy battered fish was really good!
Great place, outdoor seating, pick your choices with pen and paper! Great family place. Magaritas!!! More
