(6/28/2023) I had a rental car for a trip in SLC and had gone out to the Bonneville Salt Flats for a scenic drive. We encrusted the entire car in a layer of salt that would not rub off. It was like we had spray painted the whole black car white. Knowing that the rental company would charge us an exorbitant amount of money to clean the car themselves, I desperately came to Take 5 Car Wash wash the evidence away. I honestly have never been to an automated car wash. Luis Reyes was the attendant and helped me make my purchase and they were having a great special, 5 washes in the month, like an ultimate BOGO. He helped guide me to get the car on the tracks and flushed the wheel wells of salt. Right before I went through he told me to bring it around again when I was done, just to make sure we could get the car clean. He made sure the wheel wells were pristine the second time around, too. Luis Reyes was helpful, friendly, diligent with his work, paid attention to detail and provided the ultimate customer service. I highly recommend, if you need a wash, for whatever reason, routine, especially troublesome dirt, whatever, visit Take 5 at 672 S W Temple and I hope you get Luis.

I have used many car washes in the valley over the last 5 years living in SLC and had the worst experience on 4/20/23. I drove my SUV through the car wash and it tore the bike/snowboard rack off my car and left large scratches on the left & right side as you can see in the photos. It also tore out the left & right black plastic liner on the roof, breaking the pieces. They recovered one portion of the rack but the second half was not returned to me so I now have one broken crossbar, half a snowboard rack and a damaged vehicle. I filled out an incident report on the 22nd and have not heard anything from the corporate office. I was able to view the security footage and it shows the rack being pulled off by the machine. The rack has been on the vehicle the entire time I have owned it and never had any issues with a car wash. The person I spoke with at the pay-here kiosk did not say anything about the rack being a potential issue or I would have removed it prior to going through or simply hand washed it.

I have no clue how the car wash is but the gentleman who cleans the business at night is an amazing human. Our car brokedown in the middle of the road at night and we were forced to push it into the parking lot. I had to walk with our kids to a hotel while my wife remained with the vehicle waiting for a tow to tow the car 2 blocks to a mechanic (it only took them 4 hours). The gentleman cleaning the business kept an eye out for my wife when some rather unusual activity occurred by our vehicle and even called a mechanic friend of his to help diagnose the problem. It's refreshing to know gentleman still exist.

I recently visited a car wash where Steve's exceptional customer service truly stood out. He took the time to thoroughly explain all the fees and membership pricing options, making the process incredibly transparent. What surprised me most was the complimentary interior service he provided, going above and beyond my expectations. Steve's friendly demeanor made the experience not just efficient but also enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this car wash for its outstanding service and Steve's exceptional attention to customers.

The great reviews convinced me to drive out of my way to this car wash. I was pretty bummed that my car didn’t get super clean - there was dirty water that dried all over the back of my car (like in the photo). Additionally, the website says there are free vacuums and interior cleaning products but there was no obvious way to access them (there were bays for cars after the wash but it looked like it was for their “full service” detailing) like other car washes have vacuums very visible. I don’t plan to come back.

I decided to sign up for a membership but after realizing that there are no vacuums/service station as advertised I wanted to cancel. It’s been a long process of calling, filing out forms, leaving messages, and still not having it canceled. The carwash itself also isn’t as good as other ones I’ve used. My car is still somewhat dirty afterwards. Take that, the lack of vacuums, and the impossible customer service and it’s really not a place I’d suggest doing business with.

Amazing service!! I showed up at the car wash at the end of the business hours and asked Mr. Luis if I could have my car detailed. He was happy to take my car in. I picked up my car next day and it looked like a brand new car. Went above and beyond with cleaning I will definitely take my car there again and I recommend the service done by Luis to anyone who wants their cars to be the cleanest they would ever see

I just finished my first day of becoming a client of Take 5 Car Wash (and detail). Luis Reyes came out soon after I exited the car wash and asked if I needed my car dried. Thinking he was going to get me some drying cloths, I waited for a moment. Next thing I know he comes back and dries my car and waxed my tires for a special little extra sparkling clean car! Very Impressive! Thanks Luis!

Did the absolute worst job of vacuuming and wiping my car down absolutely did not do it. I had to sit and clean my own car in front of them. I paid For the full service packages well at 32.99. They should have vacuumed my car and wiped it down properly. The only person that was good is the person when I was going through the car wash he actually cared about getting the bugs off that's it.

Paid $10 for a “Luxury car wash” that was only a tiny bit of soap and nothing else. I’ve used this car wash several times before and it is usually great. I asked the person working the gas station if I could go through again or get a refund because my car was not washed at all, he said there was nothing he could do so I just wasted $10 for my car to be splashed with soapy water -.-

This place was amazing! The people working here were amazing! I traveled with my dad from Idaho to salt lake and you can probably imagine the amount of bugs stuck to my car. They let me go through the car wash twice and hand scrubbed my car to get the bugs off! They are amazing! If I am coming back to salt lake then I’m definitely coming here to get my car cleaned!

This company is impossible to get in touch with for billing issues. Ended up having to dispute charges with my credit card company and get a new card number to stop new charges from them. Going elsewhere from now on. Also, sort the reviews by newest and you can pretty easily tell they spam fake good reviews on all of their locations.

Steve (Steven) was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions! I am in a transportation business and been coming here since 2015. The quality of service is amazing. They offer monthly passes for car wash and I like how they take their time and clean the car inside out. They take their time and always greet me with smile. Absolutely horrible!! The car wash tore up my running board on my van, violently shaking my van and hearing a loud clank and bang in the process.. The clown working will not give me a managers name or phone number for the owners.. or even fill out a incident report!! I will report to BBB and im also filing a police report!

The construction got me with yellow paint and I didn’t realize it until after my wash— Luis offered to send me through again and really worked to get the paint off— sooo much appreciation for this man! I have been in the hospital several days with my wife, but our car needed washing badly. I pulled up to the car wash and it was closing but Luis was there closing up and invited me to come on in. He allowed me to wash my car. It’s something that I was not expecting, and it was very much appreciated.

Really low standards here in particular. The blower dryer is ridiculously sub par. Leaves car riddled with drops. It’s so bad I have to spend 5+ minutes wiping it down after. And I don’t trust the staff to give any more than minimal effort for the extra $ wipe down. We need better than this

This is our preferred car wash, and we go as as to drive 15-20 minutes from West Valley to visit. Their attention to detail is incredible, especially Luis Reyes. He knows we do not like tire shine as it splashes down the sides of the truck after, so he makes sure it is turned off for us.

Top notch customer service. I came 5 minutes after closing and employee Luis Rayis still let me through. I had just taken a long trip so my car was very dirty and he completely sprayed it down, scrubbed it, and foamed it again before going through. Excellent experience at this location.

Everyone at this car wash takes such good care to really get your car clean. I had mud in my tire wells and they let me go through a second time free of charge and sprayed the tire wells to really get the dirt out. Best car wash I’ve ever been to — especially for the price!

This is my favorite car wash in slc. Steve is always so helpful, and when I went on a multistate roadtrip and ended up with a ton of bugs on my car they did everything they could to get them off including going through the car wash multiple times to get off the bug juice.

Extremely friendly staff, bugs and bird bombs didn't come off the first wash so they gave me another one. I didn't notice until after that the wash had actually scratched my car. Might not be a huge deal to some, but now I have very ugly apparent scratches on my Mercedes.

I recently visited Take 5 Car Wash, and I must say they impressed me with their efficiency! The whole process was so easy and quick - I barely had to wait. Plus, the cost-effectiveness is unbeatable; I got a thorough wash without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

Great exterior car wash, gets my car very clean! Also, Steve was very helpful. The fan dryers do not dry everything (would need to hand dry stuff if I wanted all water spots off) but I’ve also never seen an efficient dryer happen at any car wash in multiple states.

Great wash! Something happened while I was there, and I sat in front of the wash for about 10 minutes while the staff sent about 5-6 cars behind me away. Thankfully, I got to get my truck washed, and it looks great.

Fast service, but the car wash left quite a bit of dirt and mud on the car. 21 bucks is also pretty steep for a 2 minute automated wash.

Steve was very patient and kind even though I was irritated when the Take 5 app wouldn't allow me to use my coupon and pay with the app.
