We contacted Ester to rent e-bikes while visiting Leeds for a couple days in July. She met us at the shop with a pair of fun beach cruiser-like e-bikes. We arranged for bike return via their pickup at our hotel the next evening. Met Francesco when he arrived at the hotel after dinner the next evening. They were both completely accommodating and as charming as could be. The bikes were perfect for us. Evelyn’s was bright orange and attracted lots of attention. 7 speeds and plenty of battery power for the motor power. We spent lots of time on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal, just exotic biking. So pretty and interesting! Pricing was very reasonable. We rented them for 2days and the hotel kept them in a storage room by the front desk-no fuss. An awesome test ride on the Talio e-bikes today. Fantastic bikes and excellent customer service. I test rode a hard tail, hub drive mtb and my wife took a hub drive town bike out for a spin. Brilliant bikes and really surprised by how smooth the drive was. Plenty of power delivered smoothly and consistently throughout the power range. Love the throttle assist, it’s a great way to get started on slight inclines. The bikes were well built and comfortable and have plenty of build options. I’d love to try the full suspension mtb on more technical terrain. Customer service is friendly, informative and makes the experience even better..thank you so much for everything. Francesco and Ester went above and beyond to make our bike tour extra special for my mum's birthday! We saw beautiful sides to the city that we never knew existed. A stop off at a local vineyard to taste the wine and learn about the wine making process was super interesting. Who knew they make (delicious) wine in Yorkshire? Lunch at Temple Newsam was made by Francesco and it was delicious!! Special Italian sandwiches, cakes and Prosecco. Last but not least, the bikes themselves were a dream to ride! Super comfy, fast and great street cred. Lots of people were stopping to admire them. Thank you Francesco and Ester!

Firstly.... these bikes are SO much fun!! I can’t recommend them enough! We, as a family of 4 (2 kids age 4 and 5) have hired these superb electric bikes from Pedego numerous times, over the last few months. I was a little apprehensive the first time we took them out, as I have some mobility problems; but time was taken by the owner to show me exactly how to use the bike and be safe. It’s amazing how quickly you get use to these bikes. The kids love going on the back, and setting off on an adventure. We’ll be back again soon!

My dad and I had a thoroughly enjoyable 127 mile adventure over three days on these bikes along the Leeds-Liverpool Canal. The bikes handled the different types of terrain along the way and turned a lot of heads. After an initial wobble on the bikes, we got used to the slightly different handling from 'normal' bikes. The saddles were very comfortable, despite multiple hours of cycling each day. The service provided by Talio was also great - friendly, personalised and flexible to fit our schedule.

'Only went in for a look'. Wow, what a treat my husband and I had today. We had a test ride of the comfort cruiser e- bike with the owner on hand to explain the controls and guide us. It took me back to my youth when I was better able to ride a bike, only this time I had the power to pedal for longer up and down hill thanks to the battery, what a thrill. Some may say I need to get out more, well maybe soon I can. Talio, Thank you for time and information today.

Hired 2 electric bikes last weekend so my dad (73) and myself could try them out for the first time. So much fun after personally spending many years riding MTB/road bikes. Enjoyed exploring Roundhay, Alwoodley, Eccup, Harewood. The owner gave us plenty of his time and advice, very friendly, really made us feel comfortable. Going to book again and try a couple more in a few months. See if we can get a bit further into the countryside this time.

Ester provided excellent customer service by arranging the electric cycle on a Saturday off the back of a last minute request. We had fun and enjoyable ride to Roundhay and Castleford along the canal. Highly recommend their bikes and services. We met the owner of the business as well who was super-friendly and talked us through more details about his business and other cycles both available to rent and buy!

With a day to fill-in whilst staying in Leeds, I opted for some exercise and hired a bike from Talio Leeds. The shop is a 10 minute Uber/taxi journey from the centre of the city and easy to find. The bike was fantastic as was my ride along the Leeds-Liverpool Canal. The staff member (Ester?) was really helpful. Highly recommended!

I loved my trial ride on the E bike the controls were easy to manage after a quick straightforward Introduction . I thoroughly enjoyed being out on a bike but not struggling on the hills yet still feeling like I was exercising . I stuck to quiet country roads until I got my confidence The lovely weather enhanced the experience !

A little confusing to find the shop at first (shared space with a cafe) but very pleasant experience once I overcame that. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The cafe location ended up being a good fit for our family; one parent and children could enjoy a drink and snack while the other test road the bike.

The Talio bikes really are something special. Beautiful, smooth, powerful, comfortable but surprisingly light and adjustable. The Talio team take great trouble to make sure you are 100 percent happy with your choice and the bike is adjusted exactly to you. Could not be happier.

Had a lot of fun riding these around roundhay park. Rented the bikes for a couple hours and enjoyed every second. Great service by the guys at Pedego, they explained the functionality perfectly to where we could hop on them and ride them with ease instantly. Highly recommend!

I wanted to try an ebike before taking the plunge and spending lots of money. Talio were so convenient to be able to ride around my local area. Lots of choice of bikes and the staff were very helpful. I found the bike super easy to get used to and I'm definitely a convert!

Brought my bike in for a service and tyre repair about a month ago. Excellent service completed within the hour with free cafe drinks thrown in for what I considered an extremely reasonable cost. Five stars from me. Thank you again.

Complete friendly bike service overlooked nothing and didn't do anymore than what was best for the bike. Clearly explained what was changed and what wasn't changed but would need to be checked in the future.

Wasted journey This isn't a bike shop at all. It's an Italian cafe/restaurant where you can rent an ebike from a chap in the corner. A useful service, granted, but falsely advertised on here as a bike shop.

Really enjoyed my test ride on the Talio electric bike. Very comfortable and easy to ride with simple straightforward controls. Francesco is always on hand to help out as well.

I took a guided test ride of one of Talio's electric bikes. The staff were fantastic and took a lot of time to answer all my questions and help me get used to the bike.
