BEWARE! Tangerine DOES NOT honour its’ contracts, treat their customers with respect or deliver accurate products. DO NOT risk buying from them! My husband and I ordered 2 accent chairs with the agreed upon delivery date of February 2. As per the contract we paid half upfront and expected to pay the remaining balance upon delivery. Term 6 in their contract states, “All goods MUST be checked and client’s confirmation of the goods as ordered and balance cleared before the delivery personnel leaves the delivery location.” (I’ve attached the full contract bellow) I followed up with them multiple times and they kept promising that it would be here by 5. We live in Kijabe and explained that in order to arrive by 5 they would need to leave Nairobi by 2:30. At 4:41 they messaged us to say that they still hadn’t left Nairobi because they were waiting for us to pay the full balance. I reminded the sales person that the official contract states that payment in full is due upon delivery and inspection of goods. However, the sales person tried to say that Tangerine’s policy is that payment is made before delivery even though this is not stated anywhere. We have been scammed multiple times by vendors over the last year and we explained that we were not comfortable paying in full before seeing the chairs. Unfortunately, the salesperson was not willing to listen and refused to send them. We asked to speak to a manager and the sales person refused. A friend of ours in Kijabe purchased a couch from Tangerine a few months back and did not have to pay in full. We asked why they were willing to send to her goods without payment in full and the sales person refused to answer. Multiple days passed without resolution so I asked for a refund as I was not willing to pay entirely up front before seeing the chairs. However, the salesperson said that according to the contract I would only receive 70% of the deposit back. I found this very ironic since they were holding me to the same contact that they were in fact breaking. We asked to speak to the manager and they said they’d call us back… two more days passed and we heard nothing. So we called and asked for the manager AGAIN and the salesperson wouldn’t help and insisted on full payment. After five days of phone calls and getting nowhere, we eventually relented and just paid the full amount. We were tired of fighting with Tangerine who were clearly not willing to help us or honour their written contract. I would like to say that when the chairs arrived we were happy with them. Unfortunately, they’re about 50% bigger than the one we picked out in the showroom. We chose the smallest accent chair, but somehow they made 2 massive chairs instead (see them in the photo by the fireplace.) No joke… two people can fit in one chair. However, at that point we decided to just cut our losses and keep the chairs because we knew that Tangerine wouldn’t honour their product either. I would CAUTION anyone from shopping at Tangerine. This is one of the worst customer experiences my husband and I have ever had. We will not be buying from them again! Nice showroom but horrible business practice and product.

They have a good showroom of sofa sets but they will deliver very poorly done sofa that does not match your money and what was agreed on. Try somewhere else. Their team has a sweet tongue to make you pay a deposit of half price but will deliver junk and mostly done in the evening(around 7 pm) for you not to recognize what they deliver to you. It's a con game

Tangerine Furniture did an incredible job. It's not always the case that you order a product and the vendor produces exactly what you ordered. But Tangerine made sure that every request and detail was attended to. They come highly recommended.

The service provided is prompt. I like the wide variety of products they provide which is great when shopping (I like having alternatives). Lastly, the furniture and accessories are of high quality. Would definitely recommend

Very happy with the couches we got from Tangerine. They have a great showroom in Ngara, where we saw the couches we wanted. They made them for us using custom fabric and the result turned out perfectly. Highly recommend!
