Good Authentic Mexican food for your hespanic crew ,just be prepared to pay high prices . $32.00 for 2 beef burritos & 2 jarritos Soda. Have good easy menu with photos, but no prices displayed. So you get shocked when ready to pay. Customer service is ok. Convenient location, lots of free parking. Have covered outdoor seating Clean ,spacious eventhough it is a bus, really cold inside during freezing Seattle days while waiting for the food. I don't know how those food workers handle the very cold atmosphere inside the bus ,and they are inside there all day. Food quality is ok. Food freshness is good, but for a food truck they are considered they are really good. This food truck been here in this spot for a long time, for many many years. The food used to be really good. The food now is still good .They have different people now ,but ooh well ,Good things don't last for ever.

Taco meat is clearly old, and dry tasting. The clintatro isn’t chopped but instead the leafs are just pulled off and placed onto the tacos. The tortillas are cold and dry. If you’ve had good tacos, you know this isn’t the place to go to. I’ve had indigestion multiple times from eating there. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt so I ate there multiple times. I don’t like onion very much and i said tacos without onion and they gave me plain tacos with nothing, not even cilantro so I asked for them place cilantro and the lady took my plate, set it to the side and took orders leaving my food to get cold. My dad had to tell her to get my food prepared the way I ordered and that’s when she finally did. Putting cilantro on tacos is a quick and easy task, it wasn’t like I told her to remake my whole meal.

Very friendly staff and the food was delicious. I can't remember the name of what I got, but it was a fried corn tortilla with season beef strips and a really good cheese. I'm sensitive to fried stuff and this didn't set me off so it was perfect.

From California so I have high expectatIons for Mexican food. I was in Seattle just craving some tacos so I Yelp tacos in Seattle and I pick them. The reviews don’t lie. Very Authentic and just as good as the places in California. Just because your in Seattle doesn’t mean there’s not good mexican food. This place definitely is that and more. They were friendly and quick. Sooo good! I had tacos de asada y adobada! Highly recommend them. The meat was very flavorful. Salsa was excellent. Im sure everything else on the menu is just as good. A++ business and the taco truck location/table eating area is so cuute.

  • Hassan Rafique

Authentic Mexican food. We found the place after searching for affordable food options in the area. We had chicken and steak tacos. They we're among the most tasty tacos we have ever had. The simplicity of presentation and the taste of the meat was second to none. There's an option to order and eat in the truck. Or you can order through the window and enjoy the delicious food on the outside seating. Very comfy environment. Oh did I forget to mention the churros, they were fresh and delicious. This place stands out for their tasty and fresh food. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

  • Alex Tran (Schimiggy)

Had Taqueria el asadero for the first time and it was delicious. The restaurant itself is located inside a bus on Rainier Avenue. The menu is his extensive. You can choose from a variety of dishes. I decided to go with only carne asada tacos. The food was very flavorful. There is a salsa bar available to season your tacos. The service itself was okay. Employees were speaking Spanish and not the most friendly. I would come back here to try the other dishes. I love that they have an awning and outdoor seating area. Prices were very decent. I ended up spending less than $20 for two people.

  • Zackariah Cole

Came for the tacos. Stayed for deep set of menu options and opportunities to practice my Spanish. If you're looking for delicious authentic Mexican fare in an easy, casual, and friendly atmosphere, this is it. There's plenty of parking. Food was ready in a couple minutes. I ordered 4 tacos and told them to surprise me. They gave me 4 different meats. Each was very tasty. Pro Tip: there are two ways to order. 1) from the small side window under the awning. Or 2) use the side man door and actually walk up inside the bus. You'll wanna do #2 so you can get sauce and napkins and such.

  • Min Seo Kim

The food is good however the service is not. They also upcharge 50 cents to a dollar on every order for no reason. Make sure to ask for an itemized receipt after you order and look at it for yourself. It can't be tax as I've ordered $25+ from here and comparing the final price to the itemized receipt they gave me, 1 dollar was unaccounted for; tax would not be a dollar on a $25 order. Also make sure to have the guy read back to you what your order was when calling as he will often get your order wrong and do nothing to help you upon arrival besides telling you to leave.

  • C F

Do not recommend for delivery, wrong and missing items both times I ordered. I placed an order through UberEats and it arrived with a dish completely missing. UberEats refunded us and my husband was missing his dish, so I bit the bullet on more delivery fees and tips to re-order the missing dish. The order arrives and it's a completely different dish that neither of us wanted. Now UberEats isn't refunding us and we're out two rounds of delivery fees and tips. The food is good, but not good enough for the hassel, wasted time, and wasted money.

  • Mark Wistrom

Dine in. No prices were shown on the menu in the Truck. Cashier seemed to make up a price. Might have added a delivery fee, although I walked up to the truck. Asked for a receipt and he "could not give me one showing the individual items". When I got the receipt, it was for $0.50 more than when he first rang me up. I won't go back. If you do, ask for prices and a receipt before you order. Tacos were fine.

PLEASE TELL ME HOW THIS IS BURRITO COST ME 17.00$ DOLLARS!! I saw the reviews in Google thinking this place was good so I try them out and it was a disappointment, all I asked for was for a burrito with only meat, cilantro, onion and cheese and all I got was a sad empty tortia stuff with onion and cheese and a hint of meat. I didn't think much of it when they charged me so much thinking it was for the extra meat but that was not the case. DONT GO TO AN OVER PRICE PLACES!

I love a good taco truck. It would be one star if the staff wasn’t so nice. The tacos were more onions than meat, the guac was more tomato’s and onions than avocado. The tortillas were dry and cracked. I’ve come once a week for around a month and get such a mixed quality of food. Maybe I’m ordering the wrong tacos - but shredded dried meat that’s tough to chew is hard to enjoy.

we ordered a carne asada burrito as well as tacos de cabeza, lengua, and pollo. The wait time was not too bad (10-15 minutes) and the prices seemed reasonable. The burrito rice was delicious, but the beans and meat were a little dry. The taco meat was also a bit dry and the portions were average to a little bit smaller than other street taco trucks I've been to. All in all, each meat was very acceptable and the prices were not bad. This isn't the best taco truck I've ever been to, but it is convenient!

  • Andre Manzano

I happen to live about 1/3 of a mile from this place which in my opinion is one of thee best taco trucks around here. I have ate at many various trucks like this in Seattle. To me this one so close to me is muy bueno! I have not been here in awhile but I am going back tonight. My favorite is of course the tacos, meat choices vary. But the mulitos which I hadn't tried until came here. Beef with avocado is really good. The prices and the staff are nice so check this place that you might miss driving by.

  • Loren Burner

This place is legit my favorite spot to eat in seattle. Super quick but always fresh. The staff is always friendly and quick to keep the line moving when it gets busy. I always get and asada torta with a side of guacamole and it never disappoints. I've bin coming here for years and still yet to get tired of it. Not to mention it's very well priced for the amount of food you get! Couldn't be happier they are still around and still severing up delicious food. Thanks for all the great food!

  • Axl Blair

While the food can take a while to cook and then don’t give out food when’s it ready at least is what happened when I was there rather if there are multiple customers waiting for food they give them all out at the same time. But other than that the food is quite delicious and I’d totally recommend it for anyone who’s got more than 20 min of time on there hand.

There must be new management or something because this spot used to be great, I won't be going back though. They just stared at me through the glass for about 5 minutes before even taking my order (there was nobody else there). Then they just started making up prices that didn't match the menu. My $19 order turned into a $27 for no apparent reason. Then I waited over 30 minutes for a burrito and a taco salad (again, nobody else there). Avoid this place

  • Chase Norris

As someone who moved here from Austin, I contend that this is some of the most legit mexican food in Seattle. The refried beans are great, as is the carne asada. Spices! Salt! Flavor! They have a huge menu, so if it's a mexican dish, they probably make it. In addition to being tasty, this place is also dirt cheap. My wife and I eat well for around $20. The service is not amazing, but it isn't a chain, it's real. If only they had queso..

  • Ming W.

I love this place. Authentic Mexican food served from a truck you can actually sit down in that also has outside seating. I have been going to this place for all my Mexican food fix for the past few years. The reason for the 3 star review instead of a 5 is because lately they have been creeping in higher prices while at the same time reducing their portions. (I am looking at you asada burrito.) Otherwise, I highly recommend this place.

  • Josiah Simmons

The amount of entree I got was pitiful. For $15 plus tax, I got like 3 thin taquitos cut in half to make 6 two inch pieces. I couldn’t believe it. The food was good, but I’m not paying $15 again for beans and rice plus an ounce of chicken.

If you dont speak spanish dont bother coming here. Worst food ive had and 5 mexican dudes got there food before me that ordered after me. My coworker got pezole and 4 tacos and payed 39$? Running a scam on white people here, staring blankly at you while your lunch break burns up. I legit waited 25 minutes for a burrito when there was 1 order ahead of me. Big time TRASH

Great Mexican chow at a reasonable price. UPDATE: Still great food but now are super expensive now; I realize there are supply chain issues, but daaamn. The usual dishes we get have gone up almost doubled. I was shocked by the increase. Now, I only go every now and then. Even the staff have made comments about the prices now. Oh well.

My standards may be unreasonable as I just came from Texas but these tacos didn't impress me. The meat struck me as a touch too oily, there were just some pieces of onions and a hint of cilantro. Not even a lime wedge! I dont want to have to add things to food I buy out of the house and these were a little boring. Customer service was good though, we may try some other dish here in the future.

  • Al

Just meh. I really wanted to like this place because it’s near me and the line is always long so I figured it would be exceptionally good. Though, I was mistaken. Maybe my standards are different since I’m Mexican and from Texas. On the bright side the food was decently priced- I paid $20 for a coke, a carne asada torta, and one super sad looking carne asada taco with more onion than meat

  • Maximum Salazares

I know that sometimes reviews can be misleading, but here they are just not good enough. Had here some of the best tacos ever. Tasted authentic, and priced well. There are few things that need to happen for good tacos, ingredients, tortilla need to be fresh, and they need to know how to mix them all and get the best result. This what you will get at Taqueria El Asadero. 5 stars all in.

  • J Stephens

Hands down my favourite for beef birria. Their portion is generous, with plenty of toppings and flour tortilla. I've ordered this over a half dozen times and it's consistently delicious and flavourful.

I love this place. You'll still see suits and ties along with tore jeans and homeless people come here for the food. The prices used to be very low (buck 50 for a taco, 5 bucks a burrito), but inflation and the economy got us all messed up. the food and service def worth the money tho wont lie.

Don’t even wanna give it a one definitely don’t think the price match what their serving I’ve had a lot of tacos from a lot of places but this place is horrible idk people told me before it use to be good but the two times I have been it has not been what I thought . Idk maybe it might be some people who cook but yeah definitely not going again

I'm usually not disappointed with this taco truck. Though, they recently have started charging for their slices of lime, when it used to be free...??? I don't understand. It's not like they give you a whole lime. Usually 3 small chunks, it doesn't make sense to pay extra for like a third of the lime. Disappointed, love my tacos with lime

  • Stacie Hutcherson

Family oriented with friendly fast service!! Not to mention the food is fantastic! My favorites are the chicken taco combo with rice and beans or the cheese enchilada with green salsa. Their salsa adds a spicy yet delightful tang . Everything is cooked beautifully and they are generous with their portions and fair with their prices

  • sage payne

It's hard to decide what's best, the carnitas mulitas or pollo soppitos. Either way, you will be satisfied beyond your wildest dreams. This bus is one of the single best parts of Rainier valley, and a legitimate reason to live on the south side. If you haven't checked it out, you're doing it wrong. You can call ahead too.

  • Wyatt P

Great food but the new person who takes orders keeps changing prices. Within 6 months the same item has changed price 4 times and its almost as if its random. If it was legit price increase, I get it but when she's not there it's back to its original price.

5 stars for being the best tacos I’ve ever had (I first came here in 2003 and they’re unbeatable.) 5 stars for great staff, and finally 5 stars for fresh limes, crisp radishes and mouthwatering pickled veggies. I’d add a picture but they were too delicious to think of my phone until it was too late.

  • Chuck LongorA

Mexican guy with glasses is the worst. He assumed I had been there before and had an attitude. I asked for cilantro, onions on the side. He said you didn't say that. I said it twice. Then he was a total jerk after that. Will never go again. They also take forever to hand your order. Don't t go.

  • Khuyen Ha

I must say this is my second fav place for Good tacos in Seattle so far. I just wish the hot sauce can be a bit more spicy then it would be perfect. Good place for a quick and tasty bites. Highly recommend. The staff is very friendly, I like their service One more thing, they only accept cash

  • Andrew Saturn

Crappy little 50s greyhound bus converted into a food truck. Amazing cheap authentic food. Don't expect anything fancy. $5 will get you food that is 3x better than any Taco Bell or Chipotle while supporting a local business. There's a reason this place has been here forever.

  • Atari Betamax

Yeah! I love this burrito bus! Delicious food served up fresh and fast. Friendly staff, great selection. If it's raining, as it often is, don't worry there's a covered area with some tables. I like the burrito macho with chorizo. So good. Check them out. Good stuff. …

  • Ly Huynh

This is my favorite taco truck (bus?) in town. Tacos are super cheap and the meat is always flavorful. It gets a little cramped inside the bus when ordering during peak hour, but they usually open the ordering window when it gets warmer outside. Ask for extra green sauce!

  • Eric Thompson

The meat was dried up, the hot sauce was not spicy and didn’t put any cilantro on my tacos. My buddy got guacamole and the color was yellow/brown. Not the worst taco but not the best one for $3.

They're not the best Taco place in the world. But the loose atmosphere of the truck, the friendly service, and great food come together to make a very enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend their beef tongue and beef cheek tacos, as well as their loaded fries.

I tried ordering to-go from them and they did not include the ceviche I requested. I made another order for just the ceviche and they sent me a plate of mulitas instead. It’s not that difficult. I won’t be ordering from them again if they can’t even get that right.

Decent tacos at $2 per. The Carne Asada had some flavor, adobada was a little gamey but decent flavor, and the pollo was decent. Everything needed sauce, which wasn't the best- but it is completely acceptable! Would return again if I'm in the area.

I've always crossed this bus as it's next to where I live and wondered what food it served. Today, I stopped and I'm so happy I did. Ordered a burrito and I must say it was yummy. I'm coming back and this time for the spicy pork burrito!!

Cooked to perfection tripe, lengua, pork and beef cheek. Even then corn tortillas were soft! #yum So the place is a taco truck with some awesome tacos. Finally found a decent Mexican place that I don't have to fly to from Seattle!

The food is decent. There are no prices posted so be prepared to pay $20+ for an order that cost half as much before.

Some of the best Tacos ever. I've eaten at many roadside taco trucks and this one is top 3 easily. Maybe 1?

Gorditas and sopes were crispy and delicious. Friendly fast service with a few covered tables outside.
