The place is safe and the guys make sure their passengers get to their destination. They stay there till around past seven in the evening. Don't put your stress on someone though if you're stressed,and wanna be home,that's what sometimes happens. Better to prepare your change,or taxi fare in advance as the driver might run outta change.

I'm always safe at West Gate rank, that day however I found myself in the same bathroom with a man... Anyways he didn't harm me or attempt to... So I guess it was construction going on that forced both males and females to share a loo. I still think there was something that could have been done by the way

Perfect location is around joburg but the quite place of johannesburg,.. you know taxi drivers very rude made us carry out bags in a taxi, ... shouting at us but hey what can you say they own the place its their taxis but will be very gratefull of we get whete we going in one piece

This is one of the best Taxi ranks. ........ The side where I get my Taxis is very clean. What could improve is the service but the place is clean and there isn't much confusion. Could also be built a bit better to accommodate the rainy season.

It's where you find taxis to the Vaal from Johannesburg. It was very clean , I did not wait for too long, maybe it's because it was during the day. There is a stand where you can buy snacks. It was not a hectic place to be.

The rank is decently clean, but they could do better. There's always a long queue of commuters in the afternoon though.. I believe the rank has sufficient taxis to manage the queue but eyyy ‍♂️ it is what it is. …

Crime, it is not high. Because it is clean and not overcrowded, but one thing I don't like is that taxi takes time to pick us up to the rank. And where we stand it is not safe. A taxi was supposed to be there in time.

One of the best places to get braai cow heart, works and traditionally prepared cow heat meat. Nice social environment that comes with a different vibe from your typical sit in places.

There are no lights at this rank and there's never been lights. It is super dark after 18:00. There are meger two street lamps and they not working. It's been years now …

It took about an hour till my taxi to Vanderbijilpark was full and this delayed my trip to about 30 minutes .but overall . It was safe and peacful

Yho I waited for a whole hour just to depart because the rank had to leave while it's full so yea it was a bad experience super close to horrible

The best taxi rank around joburg, but has no shelter. Rain will mess up your day if you're going to get a taxi there under rainy wether.

Well taxis take forever to be filled up, but it's understandable because Vaal is far from Jozi so most people aren't as keen to go home

More taxi's need to be available in the mornings because we waited quiet a while for a taxi, either than that service was incredible
