I belonged to Emanu-El when the congregation used to meet in a church on Don Mills Road. I left because of Arthur Bielfeld, who managed to ruin my faith in God AND Judaism. When I see him listed as 'Rabbi Emeritus' and claiming to have 'started 'Leo Baeck, it infuriates me. I have never been back, nor has my family.
